The mouse translation is a lot better. Basically the XIM is mouse and keyboard oriented while the Cronus is a console tuner so mainly intended to be used with controllers. Both are better than the other in their respective target field.
@@george2995 Yes you can fully configure your xim with the phone app. It mainly comes down though to what you want to use, if its mouse and keyboard go xim and if its the controller get a cronus :).
Yes you could do that, though you might want to adjust the sensitivity and maybe leave away the turn assist as these might not be necessary for vehicles :).
At the bottom of your HIP config you can find the advanced options for the analog stick (deadzone, triggers, axes, ...). You have to change the left/right axes there to achieve the same as in this config (the A and D binding from the config) :).

For instance, I increase sensibility to mouse in the parachute but get into trouble when I have to let go of parachute free fall and then get back into parachute. You videos have been very helpful. You even made me decrease my sensibility for aiming :)
@@fabriciolopez9168 The sensitivity or boost option can be used but its not mandatory. The main navigation/aiming in the parachute comes from the A and D keys (in your case changed stick axes). With those you will make the large aim and for minor adjustments you keep your regular sensitivity to maintain a good aim while parachuting. Once you landed you switch into your normal CoD config.
Its no problem at all, since you have to use two configs you can use the MJFame one for your regular gameplay and the parachute config for when you are "flying". To match your MJFame sensitivities just use the same values in the parachute config too. Alternatively make a good approach with your cm per 360° ratio.
Can you give a more in depth video on Apex Legends and Aim Assist with it? I always feel like the AA locks a person but also at the same times pushes away from the target in situations.
Can you do a video on how to easily drop cash/ plates or use the buy station or anything that requires the right stick on controller to select an item? I have to switch from m&k to controller wherever I have to either drop cash or give plates to my teammates

Hey, try to bind it to a different key or button to see if that solves it. The ones you use right now may not send a consistent signal or its too short for the console to recognize. Alternatively check the bottom of your xim manager to see if the xim recognizes your buttons.

@@imranbilgic372 In that case id recommend you to open a support ticket on the xim website so an engineer can look into your xim and devices to find the problem. Tracking and solving this problem is much easier and faster on the xim website than through youtube :).
Überprüfe mal deinen XIM Manager ob auch die richtige Unterconfig im Hintergrund läuft. Deine generellen Tastenbelegungen könnten auch einen Konflikt verursachen, der XIM Manager sollte dann in eine andere Config wechseln.
Question I have a powered USB hub I would like to use with xim apex it is 5V/2A, 10W USB 3.0 (Backwards Compatible with 2.0) will this work? Is there any drawbacks? And as for my most important question does it matter where I plug in each input device to the hub like on the xim apex hub? Thanks!
@@kaz7466 Only the authentication controller for the console matters and it has to be connected to port 3. If there are no port indications just try out a few combinations, your mouse and keyboard will work with the console the moment the controller is in the correct port :).
You dont need to set an ads delay since you already copied your regular config for this parachute config and it should already have your normal delay value.
@@XIMCentral Hey sorry for the late response. I’m currently testing out different warzone configs again and the popular mj frame one came to mind. Sorry I forgot to reply to your comment, But for the mjframe config your sense is required to be 500 in the xim software. So what I meant was since 500 is the max sense on the xim what sense should should I use since you said use a sens 4x your original. And since you can’t go any farther than 500 on xim I was confused. But after a couple months of playing with the xim I found that for this config if you’re using the mj frame to just add a little bit extra boost since you can’t really increase you’re sensitivity. Anyways what I’m trying to say is that I’ve since figured it out and just wanted to thank you for everything. Your videos have made the xim a much more enjoyable experience and I have to say I couldn’t have done it without you! So thanks my friend 🙏

Hi recently i hv been facing some problems with my xim apex. The mouse move movent feels kinda off, even when i do a simple movement the device starts to blinking red light. i m not sure where is the problem coming from is it the device or the mouse. plz tell me how to figure out the source of the problem and solve it?

The config code is probably much older than your firmware version so it wont work anymore. Id recommend to manually create the config then. If i still have the config on my XIM i can post an updated code but i think i deleted it.
Does my phone have to be connected to xim at all times? Because sometimes i press the button to activate my parachute profile and it doesn't work unless i reconnect my phone to the xim. Maybe i need to factory reset my xim but i really don't want to lose all my configs
Hey, your xim doesnt need an active connection to your phone, you only need to do that when you want to change your xim settings. I would advice you to not connect your phone to the xim when you dont plan to change settings. The reason is that the xim manager has a higher priority than the hotkey buttons, so if you have the xim manager active the xim expects you to change your configs with your xim manager (phone) instead of the hotkeys. Therefore close the xim manager app on your phone so your hotkeys (including your parachute config) work consistently :).

I cant drive any vehicle like car or buggy throw keyboard, I mean no response , only i can go inside the vehicle or out , i can't go froward at all but if i use the joystick I can control..
@@muhamedshadid4127 You need to check which controller buttons control the vehicle. Then check to what buttons you bound those. For example the Car is driving with your fire button so you have to press the left mouse button to drive forward.
@@frxzh9759 Check if you saved your changes onto the mouse onboard memory (if the mouse has that). Mouse onboard memory is required or else your changes wont carry over to the xim but are only active while the mouse is connected to your PC running the mouse driver.
@@frxzh9759 Use the logitech gaming software, in the opening screen in the top right you have to tick the onboard memory box. After that all adjustments will be saved onto the mouse memory and will carry over to the xim.

@@IIHydraII Its a special approach created by the XIM user MJfame. It actually works really well for certain games, you can find a quick rundown of the MJFame config on my youtube channel.

@@naj12198 Oh ok. the game developer did that on purpose and no one knows why. Maybe they thought it would feel better and more realistic with a controller when the turnspeed is so slow. The XIM ST cannot do anything against this slow turnspeed :(.

If you're confronted with input lag when plugging your usb key/mouse directly into your console then your key/mouse probably has high latency issues themselves due to their internal hardware. The website rtings . com tests the latency of mice and keyboards so it might be worth checking that out. The XIM Apex tricks the console into thinking that m/k is still the "Controller" which as a result still gives players the Aim Assist features that a controller offers while using the mouse/key so I'm just taking a wild guess that it's not really the input lag that these people are "experiencing" it's just that they want the control of the mouse with the benefit of AA which while using key/mouse without XIM is non existent.
@@yahdidimean I have the Logitech 502 Hero and regular 502. And a Corsair K70 Rapidfire keyboard. Both extremely good!! Even the developer of the xim is aware of the input lag. Currently, with the xim and proper settings, nothing can come close to like being on an actual pc using a mouse and keyboard. Thousands of people in the community are aware of this as well! If you think directly plugging into your console is better. You must not be picking up or noticing things. I used to play competitive on pc a long time ago. I was considered semi pro for counter-strike source. Also, have been using the xim for almost a decade with console. I have a lot of experience. But, play and use what you want!
@@yahdidimean Coincidentally, if you watch older videos you can see streamers playing modern warfare on the playstation with keyboard and mouse. Before the game released, they had several streamers play. Several of the streamers who typically play on PC all said they noticed input lag while playing. In fact Shroud and Drdisrespect said it was horrible. Several others, once the game was in beta played using keyboard and mouse as well. Similarly, all complained of input lag. I can personally attest to this as well. Feel free to check out older videos of streamers who are experienced and competent players playing games

The recommended specifications are 5V 3A so you should be fine! Your hub would just replace the xim hub, so plug your new one directly in your xim :).

You probably have too high of dpi and/or too high of sensitivity in the xim.
Red blinking means you move the mouse faster than you can turn in the game, reduce your xim sensitivity or make slower mouse movements :).

Use the ballistic curve instead to raise your sensitivity by x4, thats how you adjust your sensitivitiy with the MJFame config :).

@@XIMCentral how do I do this exactly? For my sens, in the ballistic curve, I slide to the right 1st to 60, then slide vertical to 100, then slide horizontal to 65, lastly slide vertical to 100. For x4 this sens, would I need to repeat this 4 times in the ballistic editor?

@@naj12198 Oh ok. the game developer did that on purpose and no one knows why. Maybe they thought it would feel better and more realistic with a controller when the turnspeed is so slow. The XIM ST cannot do anything against this slow turnspeed :(.

BTW - "COD Warzone" supports mouse and keyboard directly.
There is significant input lag in both keyboard and mouse, if you plug them in directly to the console and use in the game. The xim is much better!!
@@EricNorthstar LOL, wtf? If you're confronted with input lag when plugging your usb key/mouse directly into your console then your key/mouse probably has high latency issues themselves due to their internal hardware. The website rtings . com tests the latency of mice and keyboards so it might be worth checking that out. The XIM Apex tricks the console into thinking that m/k is still the "Controller" which as a result still gives players the Aim Assist features that a controller offers while using the mouse/key so I'm just taking a wild guess that it's not really the input lag that these people are "experiencing" it's just that they want the control of the mouse with the benefit of AA which while using key/mouse without XIM is non existent.
@@yahdidimean I have the Logitech 502 Hero and regular 502. And a Corsair K70 Rapidfire keyboard. Both extremely good!! Even the developer of the xim is aware of the input lag. Currently, with the xim and proper settings, nothing can come close to like being on an actual pc using a mouse and keyboard. Thousands of people in the community are aware of this as well! If you think directly plugging into your console is better. You must not be picking up or noticing things. I used to play competitive on pc a long time ago. I was considered semi pro for counter-strike source. Also, have been using the xim for almost a decade with console. I have a lot of experience. But, play and use what you want!
@@yahdidimean Coincidentally, if you watch older videos you can see streamers playing modern warfare on the playstation with keyboard and mouse. Before the game released, they had several streamers play. Several of the streamers who typically play on PC all said they noticed input lag while playing. In fact Shroud and Drdisrespect said it was horrible. Several others, once the game was in beta played using keyboard and mouse as well. Similarly, all complained of input lag. I can personally attest to this as well. Feel free to check out older videos of streamers who are experienced and competent players playing games

Lösche die Bluetooth-Kopplung am Handy, lösche dann den XIM Manager und fahre das Handy komplett runter, Danach sollte es wieder klappen.
