It's so crazy to watch this and listen to this after watching Zach on WKUK when I was younger, and watching Zach and the boys on twitch since the pandemic began. Local Sexpot Trevor Moore is smiling down at you and your success Zach, so happy to see you KILLING IT with this movie.

Zach in the Power Trip shirt was such a pleasant surprise. I just got home from seeing the movie and LOVED it. Wanted to hear his take and saw the shirt and now I’m overwhelmed with emotions. RIP to my dear friend Riley Gale. Texas forever. Keep writing, Zach. I loved this one!!

Thanks for this, man. It's incredibly difficult to find discussion about this movie that I either didn't have already with my friends or done by hacks in three minutes with down-angled cameras accentuating their shelves of funko pops of Star Wars figurines.
You still have horror memorabilia, don't get me wrong, but you aren't an ass about it.

@@GarrettMcDowell the only thing i think may have been incorrect, or perhaps you left out because he was co-director rather than solo, is that he did direct Miss March with Trevor Moore in 2009. I was wondering if zach considers this HIS first movie though going solo. But i loved how you really went into the creative process with him, please interview damien leone or david howard thornton about Terrifier if you ever get the chance!

This was a great interview. i loved barbarian and I love this filmmaker even more now. Especially when he said he wrote tess to do things that he would normally do. i felt that because i hate when its too unbelievable. Respect!

I really hope this leads to Zach getting more directing gigs. I really enjoyed Barbarian, and I really hope we can get more films like it, but honestly, Zach's skills really shine in this film, and he's definitely the type of director we need in the mainstream right now.
I still cant believe Zach got in a fight with Jimmy Fallon a few years back, he needs to start telling that story more!

@@Ottophil He was out partying one night when Jimmy was his boss, and they ended up in a brawl against eachother. There was no hard feelings.

I like that someone else said they felt kinda sick watching it, I felt sick! It was like this intense anxiety burning a hole through my stomach, this film was so tense that it gave me heart burn.

This was a great film! Honestly liked it better than Midsommar which left me feeling the same way after viewing, but this time it feels positive rather than negative.

How is "Barbarian" an anagram of "Airbnb?" Barbarian is 9 letters, Airbnb is 6, and "Airbandb" is only 8. I'm very confused here. Is this just a mistake that no one thought to check?

this movie is amazing. jfc a dream for leftists who have actual gentrification and housing policy critiques
....just going to say...wow. fucking wow. This movie was awful. I wasn't scared or uncomfortable. I laughed throughout the entire movie. The "victims" were so stupid. There were plenty of opportunities for the victims to escape or leave. The "metaphor" flopped. "Women are conditioned in society to be cautious because they aren't safe and men are oblivious to their surroundings and men not listing to women" this film was directed by a rich white man so we all just got mansplained to through a "horror" film.
To me this movie was just a bunch of stupid people getting themselves killed by a flappy titted monster that I named "Flappjacks".
The title "Barbarian". I don't see how this title fits this stupid movie. Lol

Was bs.. mediocre at best & this is coming from someone who waited for this movie to drop told my son & rest family and friends to watch this talked highly about it then got what I deserve seem to be getting caught up with the premise showing tremendous potential. ☹️
