This was a wonderful presentation! Very thorough with the staging and grading explanations. The illustrations were so helpful. This is the best explanation I’ve seen in the two years that I’ve been dealing with my bladder cancer. Right now I’m cancer free and very grateful. However I know that the road continues with close observation from my urology group. Thank you so very much!

First I had the TURBT surgery for the removal of the tumor. Followed by 6 weekly doses of BCG. After a while, I can’t remember the months, another 3BCG treatments. After that, I have had a cystoscopy every 3 months. Now I will begin having a cystoscopy every 6 months for 4 years, then once a year for the rest of my life. It’s so important to have good follow up procedures. Good luck in your journey!

I have small cell bladder cancer. My urologist told me it was so rare that they don't don't know if it's related to smoking, genetics or what but 65% were smokers. Only 1,500 people have been diagnosed with it since 1981 so I guess I'm just one of the "lucky ones".

My Dad has a muscle invasive bladder tumor for more than 1.5 years now!!! We couldn't go for chemotherapy because He is diabetic for more than 20 years, his kidney is malfunctioning ( creatinine level 3.2) and has a pacemaker inserted.. we got radiation done but that didn't work even!! In this 1.5 years he got 9 TURBT Done as the tumor regrows aggressively!! He has continuous pain and hematuria!! Doctors say that due to pacemaker bladder removal surgery is not possible as general anesthesia can not be given!! Last week they did his ILIAC LIGATION to prevent hematuria!! But that didn't work too.. now we dont have any clue what should be do.. how should we treat him ?? Can u pls suggest something so we can discuss it with our doctor

Thank you for this detailed video. Two years ago I was diagnosed with a stage zero bladder tumor which was resected followed by Onco-BCG vaccine injected into the bladder as immunotherapy. A cystoscopy after the 6-week therapy showed clear bladder wall and I've followed up with regular ultrasound with not even a scar showing. According to my urologist if the bladder remains tumor-free for two years then I am safely clear. So is the bladder successfully in remission now? I understand that I have to still watch out for cancer recurring anywhere else in the body, even though the tumor was not invasive and the biopsy showed only a probability of precancerous cell development. I had already given up smoking a year before the tumor was detected. I've further supported this treatment and my immunity with lifestyle changes including cutting out sugar and processed foods completely from my diet, meditation and yoga to cut out stress.

@@kosakosa3922 hope you're doing well now... If your doctor didn't follow up with immunotherapy then hopefully that wasn't required. But there are nutrition changes which help in building up immunity naturally, like adding tulsi and ginger to your tea or meals, along with turmeric. Of course, cutting out packaged food, sugar and maida or refined flour completely.
Also, in my first year I did regular ultrasound and bloodwork every three months, then in the 2nd year every 6 months and now I follow up every year to make sure that I know immediately if there's any infection in my body. I also got hypothyroid soon after the bladder tumor was resected but thankfully it got treated successfully with homeopathy!
I'm still following my diet pattern (with rare sweet treats) along with meditation and slow living, and now I'm working on reducing the excess weight which I gained due to the hypothyroid with yoga and long walks.

For over 6 months my wife kept on complaining about bloating and her inability to pass stool. I believed it was just constipation because we all do have this symptoms sometimes in our lives to be honest. It went on for months and when her stool became black with pains around her abdomen, we knew we had to see the doctor (maybe we shouldn't had delayed this). An ultra sound and colonscopy was carried out and then we heard the shock of our lives, she was diagnosed with stage 4 colon cancer with mets to her liver already.
She rushed into treatment and she was already into 2 rounds of chemo when her body couldn't take it anymore. I prayed and did everything I could care for her because I knew very well if she was in my shoes she'll do the same and lots more. Taking care of the kids with little help from her was the hardest part. Cannabis oil, dandelion root, essiac tea and any supplement I could find, i used them all just to give her more quality of life but they only stabled her condition.
A friend of ours that went over to Mexico for alternative treatment for her breast cancer told us how effective it was and gave us the info of the herbalist that cured her.
I contacted the herbalist without any real faith honestly because I knew we were losing this battle. He first of all changed her diets weekly and sent us his herbal Apollo oil and tea (doesn't contain any cannabis). It's been over 8 months since my wife used these herbs and every symptoms are gone. We did some scans and colonscopy and the oncologist declare her NED! my wife is kicking fine
I know conventional treatment has helped some people but i can boldly claim and say I have witness the miracles of alternative meds. These herbs are the closets thing to a cure from my own experience. In the end I see no harm in trying from all angles to align your body to be strongest in assisting and fighting this horrible disease.
For any one that wish to kill this disease natural, i believe you can and there is hope no matter how bad it may look, my wife is a testimony. Here is the personal contact for any one that wishes to contact the herbalist in Mexico; drehimenherbal@gmail.com
I believe this saved someone and I also hope someone can also share their story to the world.

@@kosakosa3922 Hello, Kosa Kosa. Just to let you know, actually there are a lot of causes for papillary carcinoma not only long term smoking and family inheritance. According to Western medicine, exposure to radiation, history of thyroiditis, iodine deficiency are also the causes for papillary carcinoma. The main mechanism is having a genetic mutation which causes the growth of thyrocytes can't be controlled which turns out to be carcinoma. On the other hand, based on traditional Chinese medicine, papillary carcinoma has a strong relation with one's emotions (perhaps hot temper, depressed, anxious, stress, having insomnia) , living environment (living in an environment which is hard to access to iodine like in mainland areas)and eating habits (having heavy taste or being picky or meat lovers). These causes will lead to the stagnation of Qi within the body. Once the Qi stagnant, the blood and water within the body will also move slowly and after a long period, they will also stagnant as well. The stagnation of blood and water will grow to become blood coagulation and phlegm. These will turn out to become tumors or carcinoma. Talking about the follow up. Yes, definitely you should go for it to check whether the cancer cells are still activated or not. So just follow the doctor's instructions. About what you need to do, based on traditional Chinese medicine preservation of health theory, you should:
      1. Relax and rest well
      2. Try to balance your emotions not control or suppress. If you need special help, do look for professionals like psychologists, psychiatrist, or counsellor.
      3. Stop eating heavy taste food. Like red meat, wines, fatty food. Try to cook your food by boiling, pouching, steaming. If you have iodine deficiency, try to eat more food which contains high iodine like seaweed. You can try to cook seaweed soup like Japanese or Koreans do. You can find a lot of recipes on RUclips as well.
Besides, you can try to look for dietitians for food recipes as well.
That's all, hopefully it would be useful.

Yesterday, February 14, 2022 I had another treatment, at Moffitt Cancer Center which is one of the best Cancer Hospitals in the country. I have had 6 Turps to remove the Tumors and 10 Chemo treatments with 4 more in the next month. I have another two years of Cystoscopes to look for new Tumors. If you have Bladder Cancer it will not be cured for 3 to 4 years.

@@stephaniegiroux9445 I'm so sorry to hear that. I've commented above about my worry of a recurrence and sadly this is a fear we all have to live with. I hope you have better luck this time around. God bless you.

You have shared a piece of great information. I too have gone through this problem. I felt very bad at that time. I went to many Clinics & Hospitals but the result was not good. Then Someone told him about Planet Ayurveda, he went there and took treatment. Now he is fine. So, if anyone is facing such kind of problem or any other health-related problem. You should go to Planet Ayurveda.

Bladder cancer is a serious and potentially lethal cancer. Delays in care of this cancer have been shown to lead to higher risk of death so please don't delay seeing an MD for treatment. Nothing against Ayurvedic medicine if you feel it makes you feel better, but it will not cure cancer.

@@cancerbetter I agree. I had gone to an Ayurvedic doctor before my tumor was diagnosed and although I had none of the usual symptoms (except frequent cramps under my belly) I'm grateful that I listened to my instincts and went to the GP and then did the ultrasound. Now that the BT seems to be in remission I might go back for Ayurveda for deeper healing.
