Chapter 7 was AWESOME! I had no idea you had to have beaten the base game to get that extra info, very neat detail and I'm glad I pressed the third option. It took a while for us to get here, but I'm glad we're here now. Part of me wishes that I hadn't played NGS until now so I could have experienced the whole story up until this point all at once instead of having to wait so long!

It’s definitely going in the right direction. The story in layman’s terms says ready yourself. The new explore area is fun just pop in rip and repeat with a sonic spin. I dig this one compared to others.
The augments are pretty cracked. I've got some meh ones but given that I've taken a break for a few months, came back, got up to par outside of new armor and actually have stuff to shoot for that doesn't feel completely out of reach makes me happy. Also like where the plot is going and didn't know the 3rd option was for people who beat base game.
This update is truly cooked, but still, there is unfortunately still flaws. I do wish there is more interactability in the Nameless City but we can't even destroy the Cars there lol. Seems more like an abandoned CityScape kinda map from Base PSO2.
New chapter was really cool although it was a little exposition heavy. Would have been nice to be shown more of zephetto’s backstory instead of just being told it.
ch7 hands down was such a good chapter that when i got that easter egg I STARTED SCREAMING also my potency went from 180% to 214% WHICH IS INSANE even without ex augs i have 200%
Yo, that’s crazy. I can’t wait to play myself. I just need to hit up some latest chapters of the game. I’m glad that they did that with the base game and I had a feeling that they’re going to connect the two and honestly, they really needed to do this God, I can’t wait for what they’re gonna do with the future of the game for the story and lore
I'm glad that during the time the Stia region wasn't a thing yet around november 2022 (which was pretty much a month since I REALLY started to play PSO2) that I took my time to play the story of Classic PSO2), and just without thinking I picked up the 3rd option and got the Easter Egg (again, not going to make people enter "spoiler city" as it's going to be a banger for players who have yet to play the story), it was a big shock for me as I wonder the potential implications of that 3rd choice at that moment.
New area feels like from base game and it's awesome! We needed it so much! Also, besides that special easter egg in the story there is another one weird moment about 909 and the one in the capsule... And yeah, gimmik augments is back and it's awesome! We so back!
I'd like to see that spoiler video. I've played through the base game but it was on the JP version, but now I'm playing on the global version so I didn't get to see this cutscene option. I want to see what I missed. Thanks.

NGS was really only bad at launch. Its ranged from mediocre to decent for a while now. Is NGS a lot better now, does this fix a very deep and complex problem in the game (poorly designed gear)? Yes it does. The games ever rising difficulty with the extremely linear gearing system was a serious issue, this is also corrected. IMHO.
@@danteshollowedgrounds I'm not heartless, I feel it's all wooden the talking, dragging the way it's told. Other games have way more emotion final fantasy 7,8 and especially ff10 that's what you call sad, or lost oddessy that's what you call a emotional storyline.
Because I'm guessing they trying to have the quest be similar to base pso2 with the quest counter u jump in grab loot and dive out ..pretty similar in this case

I have always been one of the ones defending the game but I’m finally done, I went all out knowing aug transfers were coming but again I’ve been sega’ed, it will wipe 100s of mills of affixes to use the new ex caps I’m so annoyed, after 19 odd months of no real new content just a load of ltq’s and drops being limited to them so no point even pse or anything, terrible fights like dfd what’s that so far like dark falz 7 or something? We get the nameless city… some empty box that looks like it’s running on a ps2 that we just aimlessly kill stuff to get new caps there’s no way I’m wiping all my affixes I’ve grinded out over last 4 months, it’s another ltq in disguise another melek style ‘grind this and it will be useless in 2 months’ I get it makes affixing easier for newer players but so poorly implemented and things will never change unless you the cc’s and community say ‘no this isn’t good enough’ sorry man love ya channel you seem like a nice dude but sega will listen to you, very poor quality content it’s not the game I fell in love with anymore it’s a bunch of random mini games with the worst drop rate I’ve ever seen in a game :(
I tried to upgrade my main weapon by using the +80 seasonal weapons as fodder, but guess what? +80 weapons can't be used as fodder. I upgraded it to +81 cuz MAYBE it's cuz you can't use weapons of the same lvl as fodder? But nope. Still greyed out. This is some old bs. Sega fix your sh- t.
afaik, they did changed it couple months ago, we cant use seasonal weapon as fodder anymore and thats why sega start giving us +60 primm II's instead. And thats why kerro keep telling us to enhance that primm 2's to +80 when theres a campaign goin on last week. but yea L move from sega
Saying it's amazing the story or even the update is going a bit to far, I think it cause Sega makes us hungry all the time by not giving us much, so when they give a bit more, we get over excited on low to medium content but definitely not amazing.
If you play any MMO or Mobile you know whats the difference, they implement new content to grind well but NGS is like 40/100, latest content is still a big huh.mp4 for me, no point unless it is a ring thing, today introducing EX that screw other augment except whale augment, next time UL comes out and screw EX, whats the point at all except add more and more series of items and weird name which I already lost track of them. What is this different from introduce new upgrade craft like Domina to Halpinale? Add more, just add more item please SEGA, I am sure will buy your storage expansion alright.

Nameless city mechanic reminds me a bit of bozja in ff14.

Yes. I played base, beat it and had to delete it for space and I still got the special scene.
