The Brothers Robison, both Bruce and Charlie is a rabbit hole well worth the dig. Both great writers. Both sing some incredible songs. They even sing one together thats all about, My Brother!...
While I was aware of Charlie Robinson thru his brother Bruce, this is actually the first time I heard him sing. Charlie's wife was of course with the Dixie Chicks which has an interesting history. I was always smitten with his sister-in-law, Kelly Willis, and saw her and Bruce perform several times in Alexandria, VA. So much talent in these two families.
Us Texans have been worshipping this guy for decades!!!! My favorite is My Hometown!!!!
I worked this show.Great Texan, great dude.RIP, CHARLIE.
