With quick settings accessible through short and long presses on the IRC380's function keys, users can effortlessly switch the device’s transmission mode across Push-to-Talk over Cellular (#poc ) mode, Digital Mobile Radio (#dmr ) mode, and simultaneous PoC & DMR dual-mode.
With cellular coverage, IRC380 works nearly like a smartphone to fulfill group communications regardless of geographic limitations.
In areas where the cellular signal is poor or simply not available, IRC380 works exactly as a two-way radio and supports device-to-device (D2D) calls.
IRC380's unique dual-mode functionality enables users to simultaneously trigger calls to PoC devices and DMR radios. This means that both PoC radios in the same group and DMR radios on the same receiving frequency can receive the #PTT calls.
