Hopefully this is Lincoln Riley backtracking and finally recognizing talent in California. We just have to hope that he starts doing this for the high school kids as well.

Grant High School is in Drl Paso Heights aka DPH aka Deepest Part of Hell he comes from the type of school yall said Riley needs to start recruiting in LA the iner city I'm sure this young man is hungry and ready to prove himself I pray USC closes the deal...Fight On
USC will find a reason not to get him and not to pay him. They don’t even recruit their own roster. We’re out there hunting for a running back. We’re gonna pay top dollar when we should’ve just recruited Joyner. That makes no sense. So again I have a little help with faith that USC is gonna do with necessary.
The question is can Riley convince a really good tailback to come to USC or are teams that have more balance going to be more attractive. If these running backs think they’re going to a team that still prefers the air raid offense and will forsake the run when the game gets tough then why should they come to USC. No chance to showcase their talents. Riley needs to convince them his offense is not going to be “90-10” pass oriented.
Malachi Nelson will make a great backup. He is back in the portal again. Coach Riley is building a competitive team to compete better in the Big 10. Fight on Trojans ✌️.

The current stipulation is that if you are an SEC player and you transfer within the conference, you have to make that move before Feb. 1 or you have to sit out for a year. If the players transfer out of the conference, that rule does not apply to them.
C’mon y’all can we keep it real…Our young men need to be better coached, our wide receivers have to not only block better but stay with their blocks longer and DBs that can open field tackle and wrap up…forget about them shoulder pad pops. Shoulder pad pops are too common place and can never replace form tackling

I believe the kid that led them to the playoffs and 1st round bye is a RS Sophomore or Jr. So, it's highly unlikely for anyone to unseat a QB that led the team to 11-1 record and only lost to Oregon.
