Hey J great content as always. Not sure if anyone has mentioned it to you. It’s really tough for us to hear the clips you wanna share with us when you play through your phone to the mic. You can barely.. i mean BARELY hear them. Are you familiar with sharing audio that way you can just play the clips that way?

As USC fans, we have to stand by our team no matter what. It's important for the players to know we still support them, even if we're not happy with the lack of effort in some areas. It's like being a parent-your kid knows when you're disappointed, but they’ll try harder next time because they know you’ve got their back and want them to succeed. Our guys are giving it their all, but we’ve just fallen short recently. The defense has improved a lot, and I trust our coaches to learn from these three losses and get us back on track. I believe in our players, I believe in our coaches-so believe, family. Fight on!✌✌✌

That play Desmon Stephen’s got the pick he was in the wrong spot at the right time. If you watch that play, Tyler Warren leaked out in the flats that Desmon was supposed to cover but Allar didn’t see him. We got lucky on that play but I’ll take it

We are paying for the Clay Helton years. When LIncoln got here the cupboard was empty. We are relying on the transfer portal for our upperclassmen leadership and our underclassmen are the recruiting classes. We do not have enough talent or depth yet. And our underclassmen are going up against upperclassmen on the other teams. Plus they have not been given the time and coaching to fully develop. And they are not physically developed yet. We do not really have any gamechangers on our roster yet. A player on either side of the ball that can exert their will and change a game. Our players are too young and not fully developed yet. We are competitive in every game. We are not getting blown out. We are too young with not enough talent or depth to overcome bad calls by the Refs. It's a process J. These are the growing pains of the roster we have . The players and the coaches are giving 100 %. But we have a very slim margin for error in these games. So the fans will complain or nitpick over anything little thing. Our Football Team is really trying. When Clay Helton left our roster had no NFL talent on it. The Trojans signed only 12 players in the 2020 class. The group ranked 63rd nationally and dead last in the Pac-12, per 247Sports.com's composite rankings. The Athletic called USC's recruiting performance that year "inexcusable". We are paying for our 2020 recruiting class from Clay Helton. Of the 12 players the Trojans signed that cycle, only one is in line to be a starter this fall - right guard Jonah Monheim. And this is the reason we are hurting. We have no Upperclassmen Leadership on the Team. We are forced to rely on thje Transfer Portal. We are paying for Clay Helton J. These are Facts.

USC is better than last year, but tweaks have to be made. Especially with coach Riley's play calling & clock management. I think he needs to bring in a Norm Chow like, experienced OC. Someone who has seen it all and more importantly, who is experienced. I also believe Maiava needs reps at QB, and more of an effort has to be made sticking with the run game. Makai Lemon needs to start instead of Zach Branch at this time. Some personnel changes could be made on defense, and get some young guys in there to play.

People keep bringing up Maiavas stats from last year at a different school under a different coach. We don’t know what he can do under Riley so until he gets actual playing time, we can’t compare Moss stats to his stats. People basing their opinion off of the spring game but forget that Moss and Maiava both had 2 picks but Moss had 1 go back for a 100 yard pick 6 👀 The offense looked smoother too with Maiava adding the wrinkle of him being able to run

Fans need to stop being loyal to 1 player and start being loyal to the team. Yes we all love Moss but we just love winning more. Riley didn’t recruit Moss and doesn’t know how to coach a pocket QB. His bread and butter has always been a mobile QB.

We’ve lost a few close games. If we were really good and dominant, we would’ve beat those teams by 2/3 TD’s DESPITE the refs aka “bad luck” …. We are not a terrible team, but we are nowhere near “good” as in a legit contender. We are 3 -5 years behind Oregon, OSU, and the teams that will be competing for a championship. Fight on!

Riley was definitely going for the win but he chose to put it on one or two plays. Maybe that was to much for Milky beds he threw that ball at 100 miles an hour. I believe he should've gone over the strategies with Miller & whomever else he trusts. It's why you save the timeouts. He would've still been able to milk the clock.

J, everyone is entitled to make errors. No one is perfect. Lincoln, I feel he should've called a time out & discussed the opportunity. We might have busted a long run or had a couple decent gains. Then, we might have gotten a TD or much better field goal position. Then, if he needed to milk the clock or not. J, the audio of Riley didn't come out clear. I heard his talk & I live by those words.

Click management was perfect at the end of the game. Qb 1 was not!! Pick city 🚨 🚨

C’mon y’all USC is good enough. First look at all the other PAC 12 programs. We are all not doing good except for Oregon. We made big plays that put us in the red zone 3 times. All 3 times the referees took those plays away. Which would have given us a 10 lead late in the game. For example, that blocking below the waste call was garbage. The replay showed a waist high block. Then late in the game with the game tied you run the ball and play for the game winning field goal and no overtime. So the head coach for what ever reason went brain dead. Fight On!!! The last thing we need to do is get rid of LR. He’s a keeper

J, I want SC to win just as bad as everyone here. But, to be honest, SC is very close and are on the verge of cresting hill. They have the staffs to get it done, but they need roster depth to be able to take the hits when someone goes down. Their margin for error is thin! They have been in every game and could easily be undefeated. Lincoln is changing the culture, roster, and is forging his own way in building this program from the ground up. Sustained success is hard just look at FSU...penthouse to outhouse. Lincoln will get it done and it will be sweet when we get there. If the roster talent increases they will get there!!! Lincoln Riley is 4-8 in his last 12 games? The fanbase is frustrated. The recruits are still coming but I know they are considering options. Losing to Michigan and PSU is one thing, but Minnesota? Thats entirely different. I think if LR turns the season around, the energy from the fanbase will turn around too. But right now, too many unknowns during his tenure.

Sad to say, but the offense is failing us this year, not the defense. We should be putting up a minimum of 35 points per game...our deep ball and explosive plays for the most part are MIA. I don't know what's going on with Branch!!

3 huge missed calls! 1. Blocking below the waist on Lloyd 's big 3rd down conversation 2. False start late in the game not called on Penn St. 3) PI not called in our favor. All 3 were horrible! Now, if Miller makes that 3rd down pass to Robinson, everything is a moot point.

This team could easily be 6-0 if any number of calls went their way and they would be the same quality team as they are now - 'a pretty good team'. If they were 6-0, and not 3-3, then they would be overrated by many people. Folks would be delusional about how good they are. Even though they are 3-3, and not 6-0, they are still a 'pretty good team'. The eye test does matter, and I see a pretty good team who is improving. This team has a bright future. They fight and play hard and have good coaches. Their D is on a total rebuild and the O has a new QB. This team will be fine. I feel much better about this team than I did at any point of last year's team.

We’re pretty damn good, a lot of bad break, bad calls, suboptimal coaching in the clutch.

Luck doesn't have anything to do with finishing games. We are a direct reflection of our head coach. We just aren't good enough to compete on the national stage. LR and his staff have to recruit better as well as DEVELOP the players.

It’s up to Riley and the team to stay together and keep working to improve. Any signs of Miller faltering at the QB spot should be met with Jaydan Maiava being sent in and given snaps. We cannot afford to keep Moss in if he isn’t accurate and moving the ball. I was going to comment on our chances to run the rest of the table on our schedule but actually, I’m done predicting game results. I’ll pull for our team every game, always, but this season we are out of contention for the championship for sure.

A few plays can make or break a season! A few non calls by the refs can make or break a season. A few lack of adjustments can make or break a season. It's a fine line between love and hate a season. ✌️

Am with J, we have to stand by Lincoln Riley, He's building something here and if you're a true Trojan fan. That means you been through the sanction years and all the lies that were applied. Lincoln Riley is a young and up coming big time college football Head Coach. People like J said how many years did it take Jim Harbaugh to build Michigan into a winner. How Smart at Georgia they wanted to fire both of these guys at one point. I've been a Trojan fan all my life man, I've been standing behind these cats, non stop, won't stop, can't stop. It's Southern California til die. Oh am with it, a real one, for years. People want things to happen over night, it don't work like that. Remember USC hasn't built to the point that it doesn't have to lean on transfer portal player's. People were not deep enough to not hit the portal. When Lincoln Riley took this job he did an evaluation of everything, from the roster to the facilities. People Lincoln Riley has them behind him in a way that none of our previous coaches had it besides Pete Carroll and he couldn't get them to build our new age top football facilities. People out football new facilities when finished will be second to none. I think people need to go on RUclips and take a tour of what's being built for these Mighty young Trojans. USC has been behind the 8Ball for years but what Lincoln Riley is doing is building this Trojan program the right way. He wants not to be depending on the transfer portal to build a team. Lincoln Riley is looking for continuity on this program and you can't build that through a portal. Recruits need to bond together and grow within the program. We have good team yet it's young and needs to gel. Lincoln Riley is trying to get our base back, Lincoln Riley isn't the one that ruin that, yet he step in and took the job of a great historical university. Lincoln Riley truly believes he can get USC there but it's going to take some time. Remember USC was a dam mess way before Lincoln Riley got there people. Let's keep building, hell Rome wasn't built in a day

It's not about luck. It's execution. It's bad decisions . The referees are really bad but SC still should have stopped these last drives where they loose.

What frustrates me is that dan lanning in year 3 has figured it out. Why hasn't riley? He's been a head coach longer than lanning. Sark at texas is at year 4 and fixing to win a national title. How come we can't do this?!

Everybidy in these comments talking bout prove it, walk the walk. Dude has only had two recruiting classes. The 3 years before Lincoln showed up, the teams receuiting rank was 20, 64, 10, very few of those players have played and are still on the roster. It takes time to build. It took Kirby 5 years to win and he didnt take over a rebuild. If you cant accept that then you're not a fan of FOOTBALL and you're especially not a fan of SC and what it means to FIGHT ON. Keep on praising the man that couldn't control his program and eventually put SC in the mess this guy WILL get us out of

If we had 1 elite d lineman, 2 above average o lineman...we win these ganes. One or two more sacks per game and it changes everything. Just look at caleb williams line first year vs second year. One or 2 seconds more to find a receiver makes a world of difference

What I’ll say about Riley is that right now he’s done a worse job than clay helton did first 3 years and Helton was not a good coach. Riley was paid crazy money to be different than Helton and the previous coaches. He was paid to win now. In 3 years he has lost to each solid program he’s faced, except scraping by LSU. Utah 3 times, Oregon, Washington, ND once, Michigan, Penn St. he’s also had really bad losses against bottom tier programs like Minnesota, Tulane, ucla. Helton beat Utah, he beat Penn st, won a conference title and Rose Bowl without the help of NIL or the transfer portal. Without any hate, the fair assessment is that Riley has not done the job he was paid all the money to do. The fact he got all that money and still didn’t take the job serious and brought grinch to SC and the same philosophy that failed at Oklahoma, only to “get serious” this past off season after flushing 2 seasons down the drain and hire a real coaching staff was offensive to real Trojan fans. He’s not a top head coach and really even as a play caller he’s not been good as of late.

You make your own luck, dropped passes, dumb penalties and the lack of physicality on the o line and stupid mistakes by Link. The B1G has a bone to pick with USC after railing them for so long. We have to be so dominant that penalties don't matter. We need to get bigger in the trenches and even stronger. Losing Viliamu yesterday was a bit a good look. We're still not getting the big uglies consistently.

Results matter, the 3-3 record says who SC is.. The refs and clock mngmnt are the least of the Trojan's problems. 6-6 season

If you a great team you don’t need luck to beat Minnesota, or Penn St at home in the coliseum. Facts are, even with the struggles that have gone on, the offense gave us the lead in the last few minutes of every single game we lost and we couldn’t finish the job. We gave up TD’s the last drive in 2 of those games. This team doesn’t finish ball games and if they could, they’d be undefeated. The great teams can finish.

When the game gets tight, he becomes conservative/predictable with his play calling and does not show confidence in this team. I get the sense his team feels the lack of confidence. Great teams play with confidence, which comes from their head coach. Plain and simple.

USC can play with anyone in the country, and win. Every game seems to go down to one or two calls. We are not great yet, but we are damn good.!!!!!!! Can you say bad luck???? I can!!!!!! Fight on, one more time🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉

a pretty good team i think. but our fanbase is brutal
