Work of a pointman in railways
To close / open Level crossing when Gateman is off duty or no gateman is available and that everything is kept at its appointed place.
To deliver warning notices / caution orders and other memos including T-369 (3b) etc. to Driver / Guard and obtain their signatures.
To perform shunting as per instructions given by Station Master on duty and under the supervision of the guard of the train, secure wagon / vehicle in yard,

Railway track-por jo points hote hai yeh bahut mahatwapurn hote hai , railway operation-ka jaan hai yeh . Sharp pointed end ek rail dusre ek usi prokar-k rail-se jorkar ( jo flexible or side shiftable hote hai ) railway tracks-ko eisi bana deta hai jiske sahare train-ko ek track-se dusre track- por laya ja sakte hai or track diversion kiya ja sakta hai , and two tracks-ko ek track-me converge kiya ja sakta hai .
Railway path making ( or , route settings ) isi points-ke dauraan sambhab hote hai . Very important things are points and signals .
Yeh bishoi main apne friends aur relatives aur fellow train passengers-ko bahut dino-se bolte ah raha hu .

So nice video sir ... सर मेरा एक सवाल है जिस गेटमैन का ड्यूटी डबल लाइन वाले फाटक में लगता है . ..कभी-कभी विपरीत दिशा से दोनों ट्रेनें एक साथ आ जाती है तो गेटमैन को कैसे पता चलता है कि दोनों ट्रेन एक ही समय पर पहुंचेगी. आप लाइन और डाउन लाइन के दोनों स्टेशन मास्टर से यह कैसे तालमेल कर लेते हैं.... थोड़ी सी भी चूक हुई गेट खोलने में तो एक बड़ी दुर्घटना हो सकती है.
