One of the most creative builds I've ever seen. I was especially intrigued with the UV lighting steps and lighting system. Stealth aircraft are difficult to build because of the RAM material, just like the SR 71 and you really captured it. Set this next to a 1/72 Spitfire and you really get a feeling for the size variance of the 117 - its larger than you think. Thanks for sharing this really creative approach. Cheers.
Wow! ...Very nice build! ...you don't see too many F117A builds these days, and to see this fantastic representation with all the LEDs & Diorama, makes it spectacular!
Haven't built any kits in two years, watching your video has motivated me to get started again, got a half built Colombia STS in the workshop, also got an unbuilt crazy Russian stealth attack helicopter prototype to build, and a nice large scale F16. Plenty to get on with I think.
That’s really good news thank you for sharing! Let me know how you get on 👍 We all get that feeling I know. For me I try to have a few bits going on to give variety as it can be a bit of a slog sometimes, often I have to push myself to get started but once I start I’m ok The helicopter and F16 sound interesting
Nice job! I like your base for it too. I always prefer my models to be on a "real world" base instead of simply sitting on a shelf. It reminds the viewer that we're building miniatures of actual vehicles, not toys.
Hi ,I built this kit last year and its ok but the lights really bring it to light. If you are able to make a tutorial specific to the lights please do. I am sure there are many modellers that would like to learn about fitting lights. Thanks very much. Great channel
Hi superglue is only slightly conductive but it also carries corrosive chemicals. UV does not carry these risks. Thanks for the feedback glad to have given you food for thought 👍
This is fanstanstic! I have been trying to figure out how to have lights set up on a 1/72 or any scale of model for that matter. I would definitely appreciate a video of exactly what to buy and where to buy it and how to set them up so some are lit while others flash at different times. Subbed!
Thank you for your lovely comments. I will endeavour to make a simple video about LED’s. I will attempt to answer the questions I had when seeking out information 👍
Very nice job. Would you have any recommendations for leds for a 1/48th scale model? Thank you for sharing your skills and expertise on your project . You have really brought this unusual aircraft to life. Larry Landis
Hi Larry appreciate the feedback. I guess it depends on the build. The flashing lights only go as small as the 0805. I think that would be as small as I’d go on a 1/48. I needed the 0402 because of the miniature scale of the undercarriage and tight fit of the wings. I was toying with using fibre optics but found these micro leds on eBay. I’m not bothered at paying a bit extra to have the resistors already fitted for me as it saves a lot of maths and time. Good luck with your project Jim
What a model. You have ruined my life, Sir! Now I'm going to have to hunt down info on led lights, best brands to use, and tips & tricks! Any pointers please? Wonderful stuff.
Hi, Thank you. Happy to help & here’s my tips, buy led with resistors already done you need to know if you are powering 12volt or 3volt and buy accordingly. The stealth is 12volt. Bought my leds off eBay in UK. The picture I put up is from their site. Great service. The flashing LEDs are exactly that ie they flash. Quite straight forward really. If you’re happy to give it a go it’ll succeed it’s a lot easier than I expected remember to buy a battery box with an on off switch 👍
Hi mate, really nice job.. can i ask you a question? How did you connect the red flashing lights? Is there a device you using to let it flashing? Can you explain me? Thanks a lot
Just curious what was the point of fussing over scratch building the bomb bay if you superglued the plane to the base, making it impossible to look inside the bom bay?!?
lol you are correct - it appears at first there was no point. It was an organic build and at the start I didn’t envisage placing on a diorama but as it progressed I wanted to show it off in context 👍

Thank you I appreciate that. I’m keen on putting models on bases as well where possible it provides context and aspect of reality 👍
Great video and build.

Thank you for feeding back I’ll get round to this in time. It’ll be an easy peasy version. I like things simple and uncomplicated 👍
It's amazing how much interest lighting adds to a kit - well done!
Awesome thank you 👍
Nice build just about to get one my model railway scenery 👌😎☕️
Thank you- sounds like an interesting layout 👍
I had no idea that superglue could short circuit led lights! Thanks for the heads up! Great build 🔥

I have 1/32 planes I want to led up, so if you could give a tutorial video would be great.
Thanks

No Problem they come as flashing. So you can buy led light is always on or flashing on and off
