Believe me , yes He is, I'm a noob even i have practiced around 27 years now, and after watching few videos i got deep crisis of Wing Chun that i'm training in China this days.
When I see your wonderful technical skills, dear Sifu, I believe again and again that Wing tsun kungfu is indeed a fighting style that can be effective against any other style.
can you phrase your question better? Anyway… 1. A nonexistent hand is definitely a disadvantage. 2. What you see in the video is just an abstract training method and does not represent a fight.
@@PhilippBayer Yes its a answer for my question, your style reach some phenomenal smoothness and speed. I'm deep believe in abstract trainings, my experience come from real Combat Sambo fights and trainings, when Wing Chun elements (drills ) was a big surprise for opponents. Unfortunately my style is base more on physical power not skills as i suppose, after your videos, me and my wife got a big concerns about our Wing Chun Master in Beijing. In This school Wing Chun is limited only to hand fight, is no legs work, no throws no kicks, no locks no Chin Na elements. Fighting practices is very limited and boring. For me this all elements is a part of fighting. My personal Wing Chun experience come from Kung Fu Mantis from 95's Poland., On this trainings Wing Chun elements was shared as interesting bonus, but very interest me from beginning. Your style open our eyes and force us considering next step in matrial arts, and set our requirements for mastership a lot high. You are a real Master of our time.
It looks easy when your partner doesn’t hit you back. Are his guys not allowed to hit back at him or something?¿ To me it seems he can have his way & do whatever he wants, when he wants if he’s never concerned about being hit.
It's chi sao class and he's a student and wants to learn. If you don't understand chi sau, or think I should beat up my student, then there's something wrong with you! One of the stupidest comments I've ever read!
Philip is one of best wc practitioners there is period.

Now thats the right way to chain punch by controlling the hands. Bravo Sifu Bayer.

If you don't touch you can not unersatnd what power means!
I,m serious wondering, if a Master hand ,,different'' is not somehow a benefit of instant attack possibilities?
Its so easy , smooth and instant. Amazing

Great :)
It's not fighting, it's playing. Like a game of chess vs. combat.
You're right, it's just our training method, nothing more, no fighting! You are the first to realize this. Beware of so much cleverness!
This is not Chi Sau. It's a drill practice resembling Chi Sau. That's my main gripe.
@@peterruler48das ist das richtige VT und Chi Sao . Man merkt, dass Sie keine Erfahrung haben.
This is how I imagine WSL to have moved and fought.
