2014 MDX 77100 miles, bought July 2014, manufacturer in May 2014. It's been the most reliable vehicle I've ever owned. I've thought about getting a new one but no reason to since it still drives perfectly. In the next couple of months, I need to do the timing belt which is $1500 but better than monthly car payments.
Currently own a 2018 Acura MDX, 9 speed transmission is terrible , mistimed shifts hinder the engine performance, needs a TSB for TCU firmware update. Engine sounds so loud as V8.For my 30 years driving experience this is one of the worst brands to drive. Will drive it for now. But not going to buy Acura in the future.
@@ivanirynastrelkov1058 do you have all wheel drive or front wheel drive (2 wheel drive)? A lot of times, that can be part of the problem is changing the all wheel drive fluids. 2 wheel drives are much smoother than all wheel drive and less to maintain.
Would you guys say this is the issue ALL years of MDX? I’m looking at a older on 2012-2013 and would like to get thoughts. I always thought Honda/Acura were pretty reliable?

You can reset the transmission, it’s literally will take you 10 seconds to do. And 2 wheel drive is smoother than AWD
@@tpp4007 I tried, didn't help .Acura said that is the faulty transmission ,will replace transmission
