Absolutely. He just plants himself centre stage in his power stance and just lets rip. The last chorus always gives me chills. Bruce's high notes are legendary but I love it when he uses his lower register which he does in this song but he fluctuates between both so effortlessly that it never fails to amaze me.
They're incredible as always. Been a super fan since 1984. They have only gotten better with age. I just saw them in San Diego a couple weeks ago, best show yet at ages 65-70! I brought my 27 year old daughter. She said it was the best concert she's ever been too.
Have you ever met him before? I met him at a meet and greet before a concert and shook his hand and for a guy who isn't that big his fingers are so damn thick lol and they felt like steel rods. Not sure whether that's just the way he was born or whether years or battering them on his bass made them put on muscle or something 😂
@The_Stranger1986 No, It is my bucket list. I think that Nicko still has restaurant in Miami area. I know that some of his bandmates including Steve Harris stops by when he is in the area.
You can tell how difficult this song is to sing by the fact that Bruce plants himself on stage instead of running around. That final chorus gets me every time!
"Brings me so much joy" That's what Maiden does, kick ass songs and performances with boundless energy (even when in their 60s). They always bring a smile to my face.
Mind-blowing performance, hell of a song. Absolutely incredible act. All of them giving 150 percent with so much joy. Steve Harris taking off on the bass. Thank you so much for presenting this in such a joyful manner.
All the best bands are better live, and IRON MAIDEN are the best of the best, I first saw Adrian Smith in 1973 in his band URCHIN before he joined Maiden
I have seen these 10 times first time was when the ticket price was £7 about $4 that's how old I am and still a metal head I will be 59 next year age don't mean shit keep banging peeps. love you guys.
This song is very difficult to sing and this and needs to have very much air in your lungs. I wonder how he still breaths after this performance 😅. He also doesn't lose his breath. Well done Bruce, the best singer of maiden in my opinion, very much energy
Seen them many times . First time in the 70's last time on legacy of the beast. The best most awesome live show you will witness. They are like fine wine, get better every year.
can you imagine how many air guitar sessions went on in the garage while being 15 and getting high listening to number of the beast ,run to the hills.phantom of the opera..we used to have all out concerts...
I have seen them live many times since 1982 on the Number of the Beast tour (yeah I'm old) to the Legacy of the Beast tour last year in August. They never disappoint. I highly recommend the video, Iron Maiden - Blood Brothers (The Book Of Souls: Live Chapter) . This is one of my top five favorite Maiden songs.
The statement that I'm about to make I've made on other reaction channels. I don't know if I did it on this channel but I'm going to do it. "Iron Maiden is the greatest band that has ever walked on the face of the Earth". SO BE IT!
The Final Frontier is a criminally underrate album, partly because the mix was not as good and partly because many fans couldn't get used to their intense shift to a more progressive style. The first song of the album (Satellite 15... The Final Frontier) is a masterpiece that many people just disregard because the instruments are kind of odd and uncomfortable. (Every single second of that song is in sync with the lyrics to tell a story. The instruments are telling the story along with the singing. They perfectly transfer the feelings of desperation, hope and confidence of different sections of the song.)
I DARE any to try to Memorize this Song. I Double Dare anyone... By far The most Lyrics in any Iron Maiden song..and yes. Special place for me .. Its when my Knee went out.. My GREAT Downfall in life..this song gave me carry on..
This was a fantastic album probly 2nd to Matter of life and Death since Bruce come back and top 10 albums of Maiden. I've even got the Eddie tatto on my right hand of the album
Steve Harris role as an instrumentalist gets overshadowed by his contribution as composer, but that's a mistake. He's everything a power metal bassist should be.
@ The Wolf HunterZ if you re-watch this live perfomance, you will realize one thing, and this is that Bruce except from the solo part when he leaves the stage, he does not move at all on stage while singing, i guess because it is a very difficult song to sing and he does his breath control, i dont know why to be honest....but this is the FIRST live song of Iron Maiden that Bruce does not run around and stays in one spot throughout the whole song....i mean.... when you come to realize it, it is kind of shocking for most of the IM fans....Cheers!
I see you guys have reacted to most of Maiden songs... I am Iron Maiden's biggest fan (self proclaimed)...and I suggest you do reaction of Revelations off Peace of Mind Album. That's my favorite Maiden song.....🤘🤘🤘🤘
That bassist is Steve Harris, he is the same as Tuamos from Nightwish, he writes 90% of the music and lyrics, as well as being an amazing player, if you pay attention to Maiden music it's very bass guitar driven
A lot of older fans hate Janick's dancing around, and feel it doesn't fit Maiden. He is the "new" guy, he's only been with them 30 years now. But it's probably more enjoyable for people just discovering them.
Sad when ppl requesting only Iron Maiden and not so many times Judas Priest, but almost NEVAHH requesting a fucking amazing third great band from England SAXON. It's like a big THREE of great britan xD begging you guys listen to SAXON live. these grandpas kicking ass same as JP and IM
I dunno... I can hear Steve throughout. At just about the perfect level. A couple of clicks down from where Geddy Lee was... Which is just about perfect when you think about it.
Oh. And also. OH SO PLEASE.... Want some EQUAL TRUE BAND Comparison..Oh So watch. AH YES. *THE SCORPIONS*.."Big City Nights" or. "World Wide Live" the Video. FULL Documentary...OH. NO REGRETS..
Lol up there I challenge you to find any band better live and the fans are beyond anyone as well no one even close the play for 100000 people most bands don't even get crowds like that maybe 1% they are playing and have been over 30 years show any other band that has done that even Metallica not even close and the energy again show any band that you see people in there 60's showing this showmanship you won't Only 1 band fact
Bruce absolutely nails this performance. One of his best. And probably one of his toughest as he isn't running around stage like he usually does.
Absolutely. He just plants himself centre stage in his power stance and just lets rip. The last chorus always gives me chills. Bruce's high notes are legendary but I love it when he uses his lower register which he does in this song but he fluctuates between both so effortlessly that it never fails to amaze me.
Maiden is the gift that keeps on giving.
One of the best performances in metal from a band who outperform other bands that are half their age.
The king of the gallop Steve Harris, nuff said. Btw, these guys are in their 60’s and still going 100% all out, incredible...🤘🏻
Best Metal band in the history of Metal bands 🤘🏽🤘🏽🤘🏽🤘🏽🤘🏽🤘🏽

One of my favourite Maiden songs, and what a performance
Saw them live, over 40 years ago, and still listen to them daily!!!!
Same here bro
this is one of the greatest songs, and greatest performances I have ever seen. These guys are freaking legends
That effort from Bruce to keep the note is impressive, not an easy song to sing. 🤘🏻

You guys have the best Maiden reactions. Love watching y'alls faces.
All the best bands are better live, and IRON MAIDEN are the best of the best, I first saw Adrian Smith in 1973 in his band URCHIN before he joined Maiden
Gotta Check out Paschedale live from Death on the Road. but you have to read the lyrics along w/ it.

The bass player is the band's founder

Isn't it amazing that Bruce can sing like that after beating throat cancer??? That's how powerful this band is....
Not to be a downer but this was before that I'm pretty sure. You have to give 'em credit for still going strong though for sure!

Just to think that he's actually gotten better over the years where as every other front man gets worse is a testament to how amazing he is.
Brilliant keep them coming great catalogue to get through 🤘
The bass player (Steve Harris) founded the band on Christmas Day 1975. He writes most of their songs.
Tremendo recital!!! I was here!
