The Japanese VA makes Sonic way nor menacing than the english. The quietness of his rage just made this scene so good compared to the original with him yelling
Not really English made him more psychotic as he unleashed his "Dark form" which was fitting for Sonic due to how he's both cocky and funny most of the time. Jason Griffith for the win baby

You know, back in my middle school years, I wanted to draw my own version of Dark Sonic, that was an inspiration to Dark Jak from Jak 2. But nowadays, there's already a Dark Sonic. So, there's no point of me making another one anyway. 🤔
Thank god you used the Japanese Dub of the show and not the abhorrently censored and ear grating 4Kids dub. The 4Kids dub did not do this transformation justice. I really wish SEGA would capitalize on Dark Super Sonic a little more. And no, Darkspine doesn't count. Where Darkspine Sonic seemed to retain control of his sanity, this is different. Dark Super Sonic is only seen the moment Sonic actually gets angry and snaps. All of that aside, nice job reanimating this.
This animation is amazingly well done although I'd rather have the english dub audio instead but that is just my own personal taste in dubbing for X of course
By the way the fake chaos emeralds are actually as strong as the real emeralds the only difference is the fake chaos emeralds are unstable since they're not connected to the master emerald which is why the fake chaos emeralds were never used
