Rain debuted as an idol group in 1998, but failed. After meeting JYP, he debuted as a solo artist in 2002 under the name Rain. As his songs and dramas became mega hits in many Asian countries, he was called a world star for the first time in Korea and is considered a pioneer of the early Korean Wave. Thanks to him, many dancers and idols entered the entertainment world and became legends respected not only by celebrities but also by the general public.

So that tells me more about who he is...but what I'm still wondering is who is doing all the other singing on these songs where he isn't singing haha. I heard a few female voices so I figured that wasn't him but the other male voices on the tracks...not sure if those were him or someone else.
Those all are in his songs, the back vocals for the songs. Sometime its by himself as back vocals recording or JYP or the others from company. Btw, If you ever watch Ninja Assassin movie, Raizo is Rain. What made Rain famous not just him as singer and dancer, but half of it because of his great acting. I got to know him 1st time in early or mid 2000's through Full House drama that became booming all around the world. Watched his several dramas and movies too after that, all are great. From dramas I got to know him as a Pop singer with the tittle Michael Jackson of Asia or King of Pop of Asia. Also what made people praised him too, was because he is original. He was got advice to do eyes surgery because his mono lids made him "ugly". But no, his sad eyes and natural smile became one of his great asset in his career. He also wrote some of his own songs. And great director too when he still work in JYP. He has some fault, but its not all of his fault. To promote idols need big money. if fans dont want them to get disbanded they should support them by buying their songs and attend their concerts. If the band do not get the support to make Break Even Point in business, there's no other way than disband them. So, should not blame all of this on Rain. Anyway, thanks for the reaction

As for the dramas, wow he's done a lot! I haven't seen any of them or the ninja assassin movie but I'd like to watch some someday.
When u say "he should stay on the mic" because hes dancing and stuff and its supposed to be live and not a preformance i guess, its his method of saving his voice because as u heard hes using more of it in the previous songs
Yea but the point of the show is to be on the mic singing. If he wasn't in good condition for it, he should've done his episode later or turned down the invitation. He did well but he could've done better.
