I initially thought the erudite NPR might be concerned about its hosts’ off-mike stupidity but I’m sure the network’s “standards and practices” editor has run this “performance” past its deep well of attorneys. I understand that one NPR “news” show, “Here and Now,” alone has approximately 17 staff members. Corporate foundations and listeners who provide local NPR stations with “seed money”: Spend your dollars elsewhere! Your local NPR station is sending your money on to NPR elites at its lavish new headquarters on N. Capitol Street.
