Fernandes has the most man of the match awards as a midfielder in the same time . In the last 2 season alone he’s created 200 plus chances but yet on assisted 35 in all competitions. If United had a competent forward that could bury goals he would have had minimum 70 assists by now over the two season .

Bruno's way to play is such a double-edged sword: if he executes them passes correctly, they can tear the enemy's defense up and create so much threat. But if he makes any mistake on those tricky passes, the enemy team is gonna have a quick counter and Bruno is not a very pacy player and his defense style is more of a "wait for the enemy to make mistakes" than "do whatever it takes to get the ball back". Especially when under Ralf Rangick (or however you spell his name), Bruno is asked to come back to the defensive midfielder position to take the ball forward, and as soon as he fails his tricky passes, the enemy's pacy forwards are gonna face Harry Maguire directly...Disastrous situations like that costed us so many games. So Bruno has to be placed as close to the enemy's goal as possible, and he may not be allowed to come back to our side of the field, that's how you maximise his abilities.

This is an irrelevant requirement, the whole point of the total football system is to never have to make beautiful passes, theres no runner on the wings you have to find from your third , there's no through ball that goes through the entire last line. Even kdbs beautiful passes come from turnovers and transitions.

My own personal view is Bruno have better vision than KDB, KDB only a better Crosser but the rest of Passing attributes both are equally world class. But in terms of endurance and what they can offer in the game i would say Bruno is way more a complete package as he's a damn workhorse who can cover the pitch relentlessly and very rarely got serious injury

There is no comparison between Bruno & KDB. De Bruyne was a phenomenal player at Wolfsburg before he came to City. He’s also been far more consistent for Belgium than Bruno has been for Portugal.

In my opinion, Bruno Fernandes is a lot better than what people think he is, it’s unfortunate that he plays for the most hated club in the premier league. I’m not trying to put him on the same level as Kevin De Bruyne or say that he’s a better player than Martin Odegaard, here’s a stat about him, since the 2019-20 season when he made his debut for Manchester United, no midfielder has been involved in more goals and assists than him in the premier league which is around 93 G/A something like that and keep in mind that he is producing this while playing for a weaker team. He has been one of the best players in the premier league in recent years, yet he’s not always in the conversation when we talk about who’s the best midfielder in the league and given the fact that other players play on a better team than him, he’s arguably the most influential midfielder in the world due to the impact he single handedly has on the team. It’s true that he’s the only top player in a subpar team and he wouldn’t be playing like this if he had a better team around him and that’s a fair point to be honest, given the impact he has made at Manchester United individually, who knows where they would be without him as he has carried them so many times and has been one of the only transfers who’s been able to elevate their game at the club. He has excellent stats and he has led the premier league with the most chances created in the last 4 seasons meaning that he is incredibly responsible for the creative outpost of the team. Bruno is more influential to Manchester United than KDB is for Manchester City same thing with Odegaard at Arsenal even Bellingham at Real Madrid because we’ve seen how well Man City have done without KDB, Madrid don’t suffer a drop off if Bellingham doesn’t play meanwhile towards the end of the season when Bruno missed a couple of games with injuries which is rare from him as he barely gets injured, we all saw how awful United looked and you can see that he’s irreplaceable in the team and managers just can’t bench him no matter how he performs. They need to build a stronger team around him because a player of Bruno’s caliber is too good to be fighting for a champions league spot being satisfied with European football and winning energy cups as he should be competing for proper trophies every year and being part of a team who’s guaranteed to be in a title race as he’s too good for the current Manchester United team and he deserves a better club.

Both are great players. KDB has been doing it for years now and will almost always have better assist stats and there are reasons for that 1) United have talented but wasteful forwards like Rashford and Garnacho. 2) Bruno opens up the counterattack play for the forwards more than providing the final assist as he tracks back and plays a bit more center of the park when needed as compared to KDB. 3) United just suck at controlling the game overall, partly due to bad defensive midfielders and wasteful wingers/forwards - Bruno will only get a few opportunities to create goalscoring chances. 4) Bruno does dip in form when overplayed. KDB rarely dips in form, but he is out often because of injury. It's a hard pick. People forget KDB from 2016-2021 and what we see now is mostly an assist stat merchant, but he was a beast back then as much as Bruno is today.

He has been for years. Arguably, since his Sporting days but it's a league that doesn't get much coverage. It's Utd's frontline that's shameful. Martial, Rashford and Antony all lacked conviction with their finishing. I'm a man united fan , I watch almost if not all our matches just like some of you and the truth is Bruno can be extremely frustrating to watch sometimes. He has a composure issue which sometimes causes us to lose possession with some rushed passes/attempts to teammates. He's an exceptional player but he just needs to take his time with some movements/passes.

Debruyne is in a team that handles that same issue better (pep even subs him when he sees he is becoming detrimental e.g fa cup final). For a team like manutd that struggles with defending on the transition, bruno can give the ball away at the worst possible moment for the team...with everyone out of position. Combine him with casemiro who has a similar problem, those 2 are the reason our games where end to end and why we conceded a record amount of shots against our goal last season

In my opinion, Bruno Fernandes is a lot better than what people think he is, it’s unfortunate that he plays for the most hated club in the premier league. I’m not trying to put him on the same level as Kevin De Bruyne or say that he’s a better player than Martin Odegaard, here’s a stat about him, since the 2019-20 season when he made his debut for Manchester United, no midfielder has been involved in more goals and assists than him in the premier league which is around 93 G/A something like that and keep in mind that he is producing this while playing for a weaker team. He has been one of the best players in the premier league in recent years, yet he’s not always in the conversation when we talk about who’s the best midfielder in the league and given the fact that other players play on a better team than him, he’s arguably the most influential midfielder in the world due to the impact he single handedly has on the team. It’s true that he’s the only top player in a subpar team and he wouldn’t be playing like this if he had a better team around him and that’s a fair point to be honest, given the impact he has made at Manchester United individually, who knows where they would be without him as he has carried them so many times and has been one of the only transfers who’s been able to elevate their game at the club.
People forget that he made an immediate impact at Manchester United when he took the premier league by storm in the 2nd half of the 2019-20 season where he helped them secure champions league football where his goals and assists won them so many points in the premier league and in his first full season at the club, he had 28 goals and 17 assists 45 G/A in all competitions and they got a 2nd place finish and even last season as bad as they were they finished 8th in the premier league, yet quietly, he had 15 goals and 13 assists. He had regularly been putting up consistent numbers year in year out getting a lot of goals and assists while playing for one of the weakest teams in the top half of the table in arguably the “most competitive league in the world” and if you take him out of that team they would be in mid table. He is so consistent he’s always producing and in a team that struggled with injuries last season, Bruno stayed healthy which has been the case for him as his fitness levels are impressive and availability is a critical metric when judging a player you look at their performances and then their injury record basically reliable they are to their team and how much they play. He has excellent stats and he has led the premier league with the most chances created in the last 4 seasons meaning that he is incredibly responsible for the creative outpost of the team. Bruno is more influential to Manchester United than KDB is for Manchester City same thing with Odegaard at Arsenal even Bellingham at Real Madrid because we’ve seen how well Man City have done without KDB, Madrid don’t suffer a drop off if Bellingham doesn’t play meanwhile towards the end of the season when Bruno missed a couple of games with injuries which is rare from him as he barely gets injured, we all saw how awful United looked and you can see that he’s irreplaceable in the team and managers just can’t bench him no matter how he performs. They need to build a stronger team around him because a player of Bruno’s caliber is too good to be fighting for a champions league spot being satisfied with European football and winning energy cups as he should be competing for proper trophies every year and being part of a team who’s guaranteed to be in a title race as he’s too good for the current Manchester United team and he deserves a better club.
He's actually better than odegaard lol..odegaard shines at the edge of the box cause he likes giving cheeky little passes which opens up defenses cause his attackers are better positioned (unlike man united's),so he's very intelligent no doubt but he can only dream of making the kind of passes bruno makes with such accuracy..long,short,medium you name it..Bruno used to shoot rockets before he focused more on creating,some of which odegaard will himself fan boy over..the problem is football fans already think of man united players as shit anyway and don't give a fuck when they do anything extraordinary,it won't get talked about

In terms of intelligence, the only player who is above Odegaard is KDB. Odegaard's vision is second to none. Odegaard's only weakness is speed and his reliance on his left foot (which is not much of a problem)

Both are great players. KDB has been doing it for years now and will almost always have better assist stats and there are reasons for that 1) United have talented but wasteful forwards like Rashford and Garnacho. 2) Bruno opens up the counterattack play for the forwards more than providing the final assist as he tracks back and plays a bit more center of the park when needed as compared to KDB. 3) United just suck at controlling the game overall, partly due to bad defensive midfielders and wasteful wingers/forwards - Bruno will only get a few opportunities to create goalscoring chances. 4) Bruno does dip in form when overplayed. KDB rarely dips in form, but he is out often because of injury.
It's a hard pick. People forget KDB from 2016-2021 and what we see now is mostly an assist stat merchant, but he was a beast back then as much as Bruno is today.

He has been for years. Arguably, since his Sporting days but it's a league that doesn't get much coverage. It's Utd's frontline that's shameful. Martial, Rashford and Antony all lacked conviction with their finishing. If Utd still have someone like RVP or Rooney, putting away half of those chances, they would definitely be challengers nevermind the leaky defense.

I'm a man united fan , I watch almost if not all our matches just like some of you and the truth is Bruno can be extremely frustrating to watch sometimes. He has a composure issue which sometimes causes us to lose possession with some rushed passes/attempts to teammates. He's an exceptional player but he just needs to take his time with some movements/passes.

Bruno is a good passer and player...his problem is he continues to spam the through passes even when they are not on. Debruyne is in a team that handles that same issue better (pep even subs him when he sees he is becoming detrimental e.g fa cup final). For a team like manutd that struggles with defending on the transition, bruno can give the ball away at the worst possible moment for the team...with everyone out of position. Combine him with casemiro who has a similar problem, those 2 are the reason our games where end to end and why we conceded a record amount of shots against our goal last season
