Kyle thanks for the info on Dorothy Molter. That's awesome. I'm a 52 yo F who loves outdoor adventures and have been on many solo trips throughout my life. I get the same reactions from people who think I'm nuts or crazy. Man wouldn't have it any other way. Thank you!
You said it Andrea. Its in the blood of some people and that's that. Have loaned out my solo 15 ft canoe to a woman wanting to get into solo canoeing. She says she will catch me a few brook trout. Will not hold my breath on that one
Well done Kyle, we are always up against the changing elements! Thanks for taking me along, I did a lot of fun trips like this with my husband in our youth, renewed appreciation of your adventurous spirit for helping me remember those days. Thanks so much !!
What a great trip for you and a fantastic video for all of us to watch you're a 1 heck of a young man I love when you post New one. Glad you took a small break from work.
Hey we really enjoyed that was scared a few times but thanks for taking us along and yeah we miss Skeeter but we know there wasn’t enough room in the kayak have a good day dear hugs
Marvelous trip; heard of the Boundary Waters but living in Washington state they’re a mite distant. However, my son and I did the Bowron Lakes in northern BC by canoe for 10 days back about ‘93. Early June we were about one of three parties on the lakes. Keep up the life; you won’t regret any of it in years to come.
That area is beautiful. Really enjoyed you taking us along for the trip. I'm disabled now and have to use oxygen at night so I can't even go camping along my local river any more. So watching you do these outings is as close as I can get. Love it. Brings back memories for me. Thanks Kyle.
Seems I'm going to play catch up for a while. Hope Seara. Misspelled I'm sure,is all over her leg problem by now. She seems to be a great and happy beautiful young lady and you a the best looking guy on utube bush crafting Chanel
Very cool video! My son went on a canoe trip there when he was in high school. I’m too old now to do anything like this, so thanks for letting this old lady come along. We just got back from a week at Kabetogama and will go back for 3 weeks in a month-something about the north woods that makes you feel alive. You be blessed, Kyle.
"Signals, mirrors, yield " 😆 "let's not have a wreck on the last 10 ft!" Dude you Crack me up. My kind of dude 🪵🛶☀️🌲🐟Sold American on Kyle's Cabin Chanel 👍🧡
Wow Kyle. you are a brawny dude! I think you are quite courageous to make these trips alone, never mind the physical strength it takes to paddle a canoe for HOURS and overland the way you need to do. Wow and the last day only on a pot of coffee! You make me proud. This is your Camarillo grammy, giving you a great big hug! You are beautiful like my 3 grandsons. see you back at the new homestead!
I understand what you mean about being out there by yourself. The majority of my paddling has been solo. Every decision is your own. No comprise, just do what you feel is right. Nice video Kyle. Thanks for sharing.
What an incredible adventure. I wouldve turned back when I saw that fresh bear poop. Who am I kidding I wouldn't have been able to hang on that kinda adventure haha. Thanks for taking us all with you.
Hiya Kyle👋 Glad to see the cabin looking awesome. Appreciate you taking us on the adventure with you. Beautiful scenery and that sunset was gorgeous. I would have kept the fish, because you never know. But understand why you didn't. Looking forward to seeing y'all on an adventure in the canoe. Stay safe and God Bless y'all and Skeeter and 🙏✌❤😊
Thanks for sharing your adventure, Kyle. Love that little cabin. Beautiful scenery! Totally understand the excitement of a solo experience with the wild.
yeah! there is something about surviving something that is filled with fearsome possibilities. I feel like that every time I survive a plane trip! Aha! I beat you Gods of Death!
Watching your video made me feel a little homesick for northern MN where I grew up. I too love the rock formations and cliffs in northern MN and the BWCA, but Mother Nature is no joke! Beautiful but she demands respect!
Beautiful rock/cliffs all around. Fantastic camp site. Sad the forest is burning. All in all the quality sleep helped your stamina when you went without breakfast. Thanks for filming, ,really enjoyed the trip!!
Just beautiful country. I’m born and raised in Michigan and tried to live in theSouth. Just couldn’t do it, I missed the Northern lands. Felt like a piece of me was missing.
I highly recommend getting some water bottles and a filter instead of using thin, throwaway plastic and boiled water. It’ll be better for your health and the world in the long run.
Yes, as a backpacker myself, I use a Nalgene bottle and Katadan purifier pills which need 4 hours but with two bottle you can alternate them. This also save your butane. Just some ideas Kyle.
Hearing the water as you paddle along in the kyyak is amazing!!! So how do you sleep at night and not worry about a bear???? THe scenery around the lake is beautiful!! Is the lake as big as it looks? I love that footage of you standing on the rock - fishing! You really ar in your element! I swear I don't know how you know where you are going!!! Beautiful footage of you having coffee by those beauritul rapids! Really enjoyed the video Kyle!! Thanks!!
Cool seeing this. My family had a cabin on the Gunflint that was lost in that big fire awhile back. Was so heartbreaking that I haven’t been back since. Video seems like motivation to get back up there at some point!
Seems like a tame trip at first glance, but being completely isolated in vast wilderness for days is no joke! Plus that paddle back probably felt like an eternity. Thanks for sharing
I've always enjoyed solo nature outings clears your mind from the bombardment of daily world CRAP suburb living now at my goldens the riding mower is my solitude 😂😂and guitar still can free my mind getting lost in music when needed😁👍✌
Well done Kyle. I have covered a lot of the BWCA. I'll be up in October. Can't wait. I rebuilt my MSR stove 100% last weekend. I'm stoked. Your video was sweet! Later.
Does this one have sound? Lol
Yes my friend.
Sure does
Good deal! Some people were saying the last upload didn’t have sound and others said it did so I don’t know what happened
@@KYLESCABIN I would have watched with or without sounds. Lol
Sound is good, better than normal even!
What a fantastic job you've done on your original cabin. No vermin, no mice; a real testimony as to how well she's sealed up. Great job Kyle.
Love the Birch Tree trim around the door and window ! 😃
u seem so serious and I know there a lot on your mind but smiling and lighting is showing how happy you are living the dream.
Good to see the cabin and also the solo trip. Nothing better than some time alone and just making a loop. Great episode Kyle!
