@uh Yeah their original voice for Paimon was a bit lower and sounded more... human. Not sure if "annoying" was the actual direction, but they definitely changed their performance at some point. If you start the game over or search for a comparison on YT you can hear the changes.

For reference Ganyu is currently the most powerful character in Genshin Impact. Every time you wish there is a 0.6% you get any 5 star character, out of that there is a 50% chance that 5 star you get is the character on the banner. At 90 wishes you are guaranteed a 5 star character. The closer you get to 90 wishes the more probable your chance of getting a five star. This is called pity. When you get a 5 star character, your pity resets back to that 0.6%. Therefore, the probability of Kwite getting a five star in the first wish let alone the first 10 wishes is UNBELIEVABLY SMALL.

I would admit as a huge Genshin fan that the beginning of the game does bare a lot of simularities to BOTW (which I also really love) but I think genshin is a good game for people who are unable to buy a switch let alone BOTW, however if you progress further in genshin the simularities between the two begin to fade the only simularity that is very clear is the Aranara and Koroks, but over all the two games are their own unique experience now

As someone who’s been playing since launch (about 3.5 years) this game is by far one of my favorites I’ve played in a while. When you first start, the early game content definitely has a lot of botw inspiration in it but in the later updates and regions you can notice that they’re moving away from the botw train. The lore at first is quite straight forward and cutest but as you progress in the game the lore gets darker, especially with the character dainsleif and learning more about the abyss order and your sibling.
5:36 not sure if it's been mentioned yet but almost all of Mondstat's available manpower is on an expedition (currently in Snezhnaya as far as we know) led by Varka, the Grand Master of the Knights of Favonius. This also includes 6 of the 10 Captains and half of Eula's Reconnaissance Company. (Eula is one of the 4 captains we know. 3 of them are playable as of writing.)

I hope that you get hooked. The amount of lore, and the quality of the newer sections of the game are genuinly amazing.
