Love seeing rigs with the patagonias, they're the best performing scale tire I've found (plus I love Matt's offroad recovery)
Haha yea and those wheels he has are so sick I want them
The F&F Supra paint job is so sick dude WHAT!! Amazing idea.
The reaction you had to popping up over that hump just sold me on he double bends and the angled skid. I love that feeling of conquering a difficult line
💪🏼
Yeah man for sure. I went back and ordered another set of double bends lol
Bro nearly bought a tractor in this video, the John Deere line looks amazing
If you run 14t in the front and 12t in the back axle you will get the same results but with more torque upfront. In my opinion it crawls better. However this rig is doing awesome nice build bro!
Gotcha. 👍
I think the small tires are beneficial to the cog of the chassis. Excellent run today
Absolutely!
BRASS HEX EXTENSIONS!!
WELL WELL WELL...
WELCOME TO THE CLUB
Stop
@@24Yeppawesome FnF styled body btw
I bought it hands down as soon as it come out but that's because I've been running the cheat code for a long time and I know it's great products great person
Bro patagonias are so good! Such an og tire. That was my first set of tires for my jlu.
Use one of your hex drives through the eye of the rod end for more leverage when building the links. 👊🏻
I LOVE your videos man. Just keep getting better
Bonkers for that Brian’s Supra livery
@@a.fab.antonfabrication2717 Thank you!!
Thanks for going over the body mounting !🤜🏻
👍👍
Awesome Build!! 🔥💯🤙🏾😎
You may need to up the voltage to your servo so it doesn't stall out.
This video came out in good time 👍🏻 hoping to order mine with links tomorrow ! Yep
💪🏼
Nice one love the FnF paint job . Lovely little crawler ,👍
PEACE!
Brian's supra came to mind, went and look and bam I knew it lol
@@brandonupchurch5015deffo a full build of the FnF crawlers
Bcochener had a similar issue seemed he changed out the receiver and that made a difference in the video anyway. Also maybe update the esc if you don’t use the app often it will cause issues if there is an update for it. It really could be a few different things I would try the update and app first in case that works u don’t have to change out anything on a fresh build.
Things incredibly good. Wheel's look amazing too.
8:00 Wow, cool place, wish i had woods with rocks nearby.
Looks great! Nice driving 💪🏻🤘🏻
Awesome I’m glad you like that body it’s a one off enjoy thanks for the shout out
Patagonia’s are killer tiny tires! Right there with the KM3s.
And them small grippy pattys really seemed to help pull some of the crazy lines she pulled here... low cg and lots of grip 😈
2:44 I had one of those gerber suspension multi-tools. the flat spring that clips that holds the pliers open broke then the handle just flops around and is useless. But it was good for years
Sick build! Can’t wait to get my V3 going with the double bendys!
Patagonia are one of my favorite tires! #2 being LGRP Trail king .. don't underestimate Patagonias!
Great chassis. I like the stile of your bodies more. But the light lexan is of course better for performing. Servo problem could be the receiver. Or the esc. Don't know wich one from furitek you use, but with this powerfull servo you might need an external BEC. Or the trimming of the body, you talked about, will solve the problem (seems to bind the servo-horn). Or all the other things, that are allready in the comments, or.....😊
The John Deer line is a good idea, but I will miss the beautifull place in the forest.
And after the great video together with moneypit it seems to me, that running up and down the hills is not the worst thing, you can do for a little bit of fitness😉.
Damn... $85 for rails, skid, sliders and mag mounts. I thought that price was with the links.
Mofo UAF $50
DBRC Gila Monster (TRX-4M) $58
Robskii Fab chassis w/links $80
Akers Gecko $50
As for the servo issue. If you haven't been into the furiCar app. That's where I'd start. Put it up to 6.5V. For full potential of the RS100M. You'll need an 8.4V external BEC. Also a better lipo would definitely help.
I suggest getting a pair of 1/10 shock shaft pliers. Makes building links a breeze. Those paired with a driver in the pivot ball (after starting it by hand) is the ticket.
That FnF Supra paint job (decals) is sweet!
Sweet man thanks for the help. You are the third person to suggest the shock shaft plier thing 👍
This looks pretty sweet, if I'm in the need for a new John Deere, I'll bring my trucks and hit the line with you!!! Rock on!!!
😂🤘🏻
Maybe that high torque high voltage servo is causing some voltage depletion in your esc n temporarily overloading and shutting it down. I would try to switch out another receiver first if it’s not that you’ll probably need an external bec or if that Furitek has one built in it may need to be adjusted. Just my thoughts it’s kinda hard to judge when you not seeing it in person. Anyway love your vids bro I look forward to them
Gotcha, appreciate the help
I love this chassis, you reviewing Injora brushless with outrunner?
💪🏼
Yup, have it ordered
@@24Yepp sweet!
Move the servo back. Don’t dremel the body. You need a longer servo horn and you’ll get some real steering. Dremel the u joint shafts also. It’ll be mint!
Got it 🫡 What do you mean by dremeling the u joint shafts, where at?
harbor freight mini vice, c clamped to desk edge is a game changer for doing links
Your servo will cut out if you have too much votage, or not enough. You can or should be able to change the votage in the app. Regardless of the battery. But warning, if you go over, say the recommended battery to servo accepted voltage you can burn up the servo. Usually, servo specs are on the packaging or the website that they are bought from. I always kick my servos to max in the esc setting. And then give it expo through the remote.
What transmission and motor mount are you using in this build?
I love the fast and furious empire the paint job is awesome. I really like this truck it performs really well and I’m sure the chicks dig it😂 🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘✌️
Some mini trench kings would look great on that !!
If I am building a competition chassis, would you use this or say a Spector Pro for the ultimate in performance with a 4WS setup? Also, I am trying to understand what the XL version of the Cheat Code means. Thank you and I appreciate your Roasting Rigs; it has taught me a great deal.
@@Joshua-xz7pm I think either of the choices would be good! They are both good proven high-end chassis.
The XL version is longer. A longer wheelbase. The scx24 comes in several wheelbases from the factory (gladiator/power wagon being the long or XL ones)
@@24Yepp I was planning on the Gladiator length links for performance, but not sure on what I will do for a body. Would you use the stand or XL with Gladiator links? My concept is to do a Toyota pickup body, which will probably be complicated by the link length. I guess that is a long way of saying performance is number one and I will figure out the body later.
@@Joshua-xz7pm Yeah if you are doing gladiator length, get the XL.
Always a way to somehow make a body work!
@@24Yepp I promise this is the last question. Would the regular size with Gladiator links and longer shocks, say 52mm, give it more flex? Would that be an advantage?
@@Joshua-xz7pm I prefer shorter ones. More flex isnt always a good thing.
Most of my shocks are around the 39mm(ish) length
I feel for $89 it should come with links but that's just me. Try a different receiver for the servo issue and make sure your transmitter is on the right vehicle model, I have had mine on the wrong model and connected anyway and was all kinds of goofy when I was trying to drive it. Your transmitter batteries could be dying too. Patagonias are great tiny tires, give them some more time before discounting them, they looked like they were doing just fine to me.
Gotcha, thanks for the help as always. Yeah the patagonias were good enough for me to keep trying, I'm not completely hating them
What size magnets do you use

great build, the cost of the cheat code in CDN dollars is crazy !! but i really think it may be worth it. Q&A!! is that body 3d file avaiable anywhere for download? I have resin and FDM printers.. Thanks for another great video.
Thanks man... The files used to be available on cults3d from hyghtRC. They have since been removed, the files are floating around you just need to find someone who bought them back in the day
@24yep Hello, i have a question. you use the nsdrc servo. the sound bzzz bzzz is good ? my servo also has this sound. But other nsdrc servos on the videos dont have the sound. I don't know why
@@lukaspecko I'm not sure. I think all of my servos sound a bit differently and they all work fine 🤷🏼♂️
@@24Yepp Thank’s. I was a little worried
I have those tires on a stock C 10 I do like those tires
Don’t sleep on patagonias. They’re one of the OG small tires that works really well.
I'm leaving them on! for now...
Not sure if you solved the servo issue yet, but I'd try swapping out the receiver. A brown out from a lack of current to the servo usually makes the truck shut off completely. 🤷♂
Do you know of anyone that makes a scout ii body?
Love the videos man!
Hmmm not off the top of my head. Might be able to find a random 3d print file and resize it
I know he tries to say those links are easy to put together bull crap they are absolute the hardest links I have ever put together
I've seen several people say they are easy... I think it can go either way lol. I have no patience which doesn't help.
Can't you just put the ends in your drill and hold the link with your plyer? Works with 1/10 for me.
it was an all night affair figuring out the correct location of those links 😂
@gibsonlife573 your links are on the way🤘🏻
The links are pretty simple to put together. I got it in the mail after work, only took me from 4pm-4am next day. Im still uncertain about how i positioned everything
Do you use any hex extension on this rig? Or anything like that or is it all stock width?
@@24Krawlers In the video I have hex extensions on it. I've since changed it to be stock width
Trey, what wheels are on that? I need them! 🙏
@@Rcmcgee1 they are LGRP wheels 👍🏻
@ thanks man!
Do you ever have those wheel nuts loosen on you? I’ve had them loosen themselves off many times
Yeah... I've been smashing some o-rings on first and that seems to help. Put wheel on -> oring -> wheel nut
Another mint machine for the addiction....sorry, collection. 👍🏻😁
Will you doing a Dom's Charger to keep the FnF theme going?.🧑🏻🦲
I think I have to build all of the FnF cars now...
Also I forgot to add this to my last comment. Something else to consider I have a GT5 run it on all my scx24s. Battery life sucks on it and it will f#%k with the functions of the radio if it gets low even before the warning low voltage beeper
AND NEEEWWWWWW!!🏆
The servo iv had nothing but problems out of nsdrc it's browning out if it's giving you problems after every line buy the reefs servo never had an issue
So what’s your style buy one and rebuild it or start from scratch?
I'm down for both... My ideal situation is buy a huge pile of them from someone getting out of the hobby, disassemble them all & have 999999 parts.
That’s awsome. However ramp-crab or meus frames meus axles, furitek 2s kit and some small tires with the secret inner hard foam only with an air pocket. There’s a recipe for the cheap.
But what over all wheel base is it cause im trying to find a body for mine and i want to know body would look on mine love your videos always watch them a hour or less after you post them
Thanks!! Wheelbase is considered "cbolt" and is 144mm
Do you like lgrp super8s?
For certain builds, yeah. They do push the lower shock mounts out wider which I dislike, I think that is my only complaint...
As this feels like an end game car of sorts, we all know cars should have names...(at least I hope we all know this 🙄😂)
End game - mortal kombat - Fatalities -
If I may be so bold....😉
If not.. 😬 then to me only..

❤😂
I like this.
Anyone know which company has the best drivelines for the c-bolt setup? I’d like them to have the least amount of slop if possible too
@@thepdc6220 I actually just prefer the stock ones for all of my trucks 🤷🏼♂️
So what’s a good chassis for somone getting into scx24s
So many options, I think it depends on the budget and what you are wanting to do with the truck
@@24Yepp I was thinking mofo rc ugly af what do you think of that chassis?
Been looking for shiny stainless / chrome panhead hardware for my SCX24 lcg build. Any ideas where to look? I have only found black pan heads.
Ummmm I'm really not sure I havn't tried to hunt down specific hardware. Theres some kits on amazon and mazz has a kit
@@24Yepp Thanks, Mazz sells the kit I already have. I was just getting anal over the details on my first comp build.
Try a Different Battery next time and see if the servo still does it. More mah....or c rating. I don't know anything about these yet. I would guess, either Not enough juice or over heating causing to shut down. My 60a esc does it when i F around. Heat it will shut off, low voltage also. Or it could be BAD hahahah Freaking Electronics :P ... One more week till payday and i get my First scx24 :) SO EXCITED.
Noted, thank you! I'm excited for you to get one so you can help me more 🤣
@@24Yepp Hahahah , Thats funny.
Can’t wait to buy one, but why is it so loud
Who knows, I have no idea what I'm doing ever... I think the metal gears
Yep, doesnt sound healthy.
@@24Yeppyeah, but something sounds tight
@@snörre23 Its fine, run it until something breaks
@@24Yeppthat’s right
If it's tough to get the links on its good quality plastic 😅 VP ends we're a pain
They are like buddy lee, can’t bust em!
Nothing Runs Like A Deere
Cheat code or Athos? Which one is the move?
Probably can't go wrong with either... I also have two Athos but havn't built/tested them yet.
flip the motor backwards and put the battery up front.
Hey that's the body I held in my hands when I went to his place to pick up my body, I got another body of his now too, cracked but I fixed it an painted over it
I'm super happy with how it all turned out
Didn't mazz send the magnets in a white container that said do not open? Great build and video! Keep up the great work!
That was a different guy
Rc4wd patagonias are brilliant only moan is I wish they did a taller version
This is the only problem I have with 24s everything is so cheap I order at least one chassis a week
I know I heard 93 trucks😂
😜
I’ve got mine sitting on the shelf, waiting for that blurry picture to drop tomorrow so it can be a roller 😏

I hate the way furitek escs sound bout that thing is money
I have never heard a furitek ESC make a sound, what are you talking about ? Only ESC made a sound was the stock SCX24 one, that whining.
Yeah the furitek escs are silent. I have 3 and never heard a peep. I'm guessing it's the all metal gears. Especially loud with the sound echoing inside the hardbody
@mazz do it!
💪🏼💪🏼
