It's so interesting to see other reader's tastes through the books they love and recommend. This type of video is also one of my favorites, I can't wait to see when you read through some of these and give your opinion. I’ve read and loved Between Two Fires. Definitely an epic journey and I heard from some it can have a slow start but felt worth it but not the type of book I feel like I see on this channel so interesting! Also, read and loved Chlorine, a book that feels like I’d see reviewed here, sapphic, surreal and worth a conversation. Same with The Eyes are the Best Part. XX no way for Piglet, that book was like being subjected to someone’s trauma who has yet to recognize the issue, but still can’t wait to hear your reader point of view.
Not reading books I think I’ll love is the story of my life 😅 I’m working on a review for Rest Stop but it’s definitely hard to talk about the bulk of a short book without spoiling it. The Eyes are the Best Part and We Used to Live Here were in my best books of the year too! I mentioned in my video that I feel like it’s rating more poorly with people reading it on audio, not that you’d love it but there are some visual hints/secrets that I can’t imagine make it to the audio unfortunately.
