I have the newer 3M PPS linered Cup System for painting cars. I'm painting an older car with PPG Duracryl metallic lacquer paint. I got the 3M PPS kit with the 28 oz cup and the 200 Micron filter lids. I'm worried about the metallic being filtered out. I think I ordered the less fine screen. Is this correct.

@@GraphicSolutionsGroup Looks like S9 is what I need for black widow HTC gun. but it shows up as S27, seems to be the same specs, what’s the difference. Thank you. Other fun is. Husky composite hvlp, not sure on that one
Hey Kevin, The original and the 2.0 3M PPS cup system can both be sprayed upside down. That’s one of the benefits for using the 3M PPS cup systems compared to your traditional paint cup. For more information please give us a call 800 366 1776.

For some reason when I take the lid off, the disposable does not stay with the lid it stays in the cup are you supposed to put Vaseline in there?

So the new 2.0 doesn’t/can’t spray upside down?

Yes. Tip gun upside down with paint in. Hold trigger down until it sucks all the air out of your cup and paint hits the tip
@@twogurls1kuppp sometimes you need higher pressure until the air bleeds down
