Looks nice but? I don't think it would spray gel coat very well, you need a BIG tip. I would use less acetone cleaning my Devilbiss pressure pot with the Devilbiss flushing pot. I have a cup gun that is supper easy to clean, put some mold wax on the aluminum plate/cover and drop it into some acetone after shooting gel, super simple. This would be nice to try vs. the pot, this has an actual paint pattern unlike the ball pattern that the cup gun puts out. I do small arts with fades and this could be a good gun for that.
"Free cup" thats why they are expensive to buy separately, and thats why you force it in the box now too, easy charge up. Good system though, much better than standard cup operation.
So you don’t need to invert the gun to spray upside down, unless you need to do that feature? You can just spray once filled, and be able to spray? Which allows you to see how much paint is left clearly in the cup! Verses having the liner collapsing, where it’s difficult to judge how much paint remains in the cup, correct? Thanks for your time!

I guess they don’t have enough brains to know that you can hold your gun upside down and get all the air out of it first. And then they don’t tell you if you want to store your paint, you have to keep it inside the cup. So you’re going to need extra cups😢
Are the disposable parts recyclable? Does 3M have a program to recycle these? I'm looking to add paint and finishing to my business but don't like the idea of generating more trash even if it is convenient and has great features.
Try buying any of these products in Australia. 3M Australia refuses to answer 1 email or enquiry! They only deal with companies who have over 100 employees and have absolutely no desire to deal with anyone else. You can't contact them! You can't call them! They refuse to answer emails and I've spoken to hundreds of people in the collision industry that have had an absolute guts full of 3M Australia! They deliberately give small shops and businesses the run around and refuse to set up accounts for these businesses! It took 1 guy here in Australia 3 years to get a 3M account then when he did they made is life hell and basically ruined his fledgling business! In the end he had a nervous breakdown and killed himself! 3M Australia are bunch of cowards
There is another feature. Cup mixing adapter, where one can place the cup in the paint shaker, it can also act as a very stable cup stand.
I didn't know about keeping it upside down to keep lid filter wet.

looks like a IWATTA WS 400 SUPER NOVA 1.3 HD CLEAR COAT GUN
How to buy it. I live in indonesia
go to 3steps
Better invest in pressure pot 2l and don't spend 90 GBP on each box of just 50 cups.
whats the gun hes using please
Hi Andrew, thanks for your inquiry. The gun used here is the 3M™ Accuspray™ Spray Gun, while the other metal gun is not a 3M gun.
@@3MCanada never heard of it looks likes WLS 1 3 SUPER NOVA

The elimination of solvent use in cleaning the cup should easily offset the "environmental impact" of the 0.25oz of plastic in the disposable part.

am I the only one who is disappointed that they’re using clear liquid in their cup, it looks like water. 😑
