This interview wasn’t about BIG DSF but was about the rare and beautiful side of Dorcas Fapson that no one sees. We love you so muchhhh!!!!!!❤️❤️❤️Keep growing and succeeding beyond our imaginations, Keep doing you!🥺
Listen to me! This could lowkey be THE GREATEST interview by a Nigerian! Listen! As far as this new generation is concerned? This right here is pure gold!
@@teawithtaypodcast2627 you are welcome sir! You did an incredible job! I gotta give you your flowers sir! This one hit home for me and im almost 40yrs old! Its the way you both were sincere with your emotions for me. The vulnerability! You don't see sincerity in the world anymore so when I get it for free its nothing but gratitude from here so thank you😊
Want to thank Ms Dsf for being vulnerable and sharing her story, I pray she gets the peace, happiness and childlike joy she deserves. Taymesan, thank you because while other blogs/podcasts ask questions to get clickbait, you ask questions that show us the human side of these celebrities beyond scandals and clout. And the best thing about you is that you listen, you don't feel the need to interrupt unnecessarily. Thank you, God bless you and the works of your hands ❤️
Please also make a movie about your personal experience you just shared. No behaviour (e.g. anger) comes out of nothing. There is always, always an underlying issue that leads to “bad” behaviour. I bet there are a lot of people, children and adults alike that’ll relate with your story. And stress the importance of getting help. People are generally good, but when they are not, we conclude all sort of assumptions about them and write them off. A lot adults are living with the emotional (let’s not even talk about the physical) abuse they went through as children. Some are being transferred from generation to generation because it has not been resolved. And We wonder why there is so much aggression in Nigeria. Thank you for sharing your story❤
This is fast becoming my favourite podcast. Tay you have a way with connecting with people and it's beautiful to watch. This is definitely one of my favourite episodes and trust me I love most. DSF has reminded me that we must try our utmost best to be gentle with one another because there's a story behind the strong version of the person we're seeing. Amazing episode. Love from Kenya 🇰🇪
ever since shuga, I got flowers today poem, castle on castle, IG stories, DJaying, dressing to kill shots, I've always seen d best in dsf despite all Nigerians hating on her and her accent and alleging she lying about the uber stuff and other horrible things about renting rides and sharading it as owned and all. You're loved pls
Was reluctant to click on this episode at first, never mind my reason but I'm glad I didn't listen to that reason, because this was spiritual for me... at 12:52 mins, I paused this, stood up from my seat and took a bathroom break just to cry... I cried a river. This was so touching and relatable, it made realize my parents (mom especially) are only human. This is the beginning of a healing journey for me and I feel so much better already. Thank you so much for this podcast!
Awwww. My resolve to issues like this is if they knew better they'd do better. Thank God for the grace to forgive. I was angry with my dad for a very long time but thank God i was able to forgive him. we became fairly close until last year December when he died. I was the saddest of all but it is what it is.
I got touched and teary. Mehn I respect DSF the more. She is such a strong woman. With all that she has been through, she still put her shit together ❤️
MsDSF is one strong lady. Forgiving her dad for something that painful, I would have struggled. Just listening to the story and I am so mad. Keep healing DSF.
First time tuning in and I fell in love with this podcast! One thing I respect about this generation of African youth, is the desire to take back our power and heal our past traumas all while breaking generational curses 🙌🏾🙏🏾 We grew up thinking mental health was a stigma, it isn’t prioritized enough. But thankfully that’s something that will change soon. I’m a huge fan of the two of you, so to see this vulnerability being shown made me feel like I could relate to you both on a different level. Much love, respect and blessings 🤍✨
Okay I cried . We never know people’s stories. Sometimes our parents put us in so much problems. The absence of a parent is really damaging. Still healing, still growing, still learning It is well
This Taymesan guy is a well of knowledge, he's good at everything he does,I still have some of his instagram videos saved up for laughs,I loved him on visa on arrival now he has me hooked on his podcast, bravo young man!!
We are all flawed is exactly what came to mind when I was watching this. She was really tough back in UK because she had to protect herself. You have to choose to be a bully victim or just fight. She's so pretty. I wish her the very best. Lovely interview.
Jesus😥😥😥 I've never cried like this before watching a podcast, but this right here made me shed tears uncontrollably. This is what most kids go through today, please even if you're going through a divorce please always tell your children the honest truth. Don't make your partner look like the bad person to them when in reality they're not, this can be traumatic for children in future.
See i see why she channels big girl/strong lady energy and am here for it. Because peoples past really can make or break you,and in this case am glad it made her. You either conform to pain(can be even growing around it or experiencing it first hand),allow it to ruin you or you make out... Give this girl her accolades, she is smart, outspoken and alot more a great hustler,a good actor and a great DJ. Tay I see you and am here for thee growth Lots of love from 🇪🇸.
Dis Episode is soooo dope & Real i have always wanted to know her story since the day1 of Shuga in unilag, she stood out & nailed dt role,, this is quite revealing love it
Since I found out about Taymesan and what he does especially with the podcast I see myself coming to look for his new update on Instagram and also on RUclips, I like his vibe and sense of humor and also how he connects with everyone he brings to the show....The podcast is entertaining, interesting and educative I must say
Your Dad did it to make your mom suffer. And she suffered until death. But your Dad also forgot that in his quest to make your mom suffer, you were also suffering 😢. Hence all the psychologists and therapist you're seeing. I pray you find healing. I also pray my skin be popping like yours 🥰🥰
I listened to this on Spotify but I had to come comment on RUclips Tay I love this episode and Tay try zoom therapy I began therapy online over the lockdown there is strength in vulnerability being the oldest children we also have so much trauma of carrying so much as the first. I love the exploration of Nigerian culture school life and how it intertwines with like how it is being Nigerians born abroad. This is such a prominent conversation that needs to be had amongst us. DSF if you see this thank you for being beautifully vulnerable being vulnerable allows others to learn and also explore themselves. I felt you with being misunderstood and it’s hard to navigate when feeling misunderstood but we thank God for those that understand us and I pray you continue to grow. Overall there is power in vulnerability [check out the Ted talk on this ]
Aaaawww bless you Dorcas. Yea. Dorcas was a tough girl back in the UK. Tottenham girl who took no nonsense. So proud of the woman you’ve become. Loved this and will be watching the rest. 🙏🙏
I wish I could hug her…. Her dad however, because of your wife you went to the uk and then she got deported and you told your kids their mom hates them and didn’t want them and left… really? Nooooo Matter how messy the break up was . And ms def said the dad did it because he loves them ? Biko I no want that kind love na. I mean people Tell the children the mom or dad traveled and that she is coming back or look for a story but assure them their mom loves them regardless. And to think her mom went through all that to see them again in Nigeria but her dad still kept trying to stop it… menh it just boils my blood. It’s sad that she died without seeing them or them having closure is the saddest part of it sef. Haba na that was pure wickedness 😒 she is brave to forgive him oh God knows it would have been hard for me 😢😢😢😢 this girl needs loveeeeee … a lot of it and I pray she has genuine people around who will ride hard for her.
It's honestly so sad. And I really pity her and especially her mother. Imagine the kind of heartbreak dt woman lived all her life, just abruptly taken away from a 2yr old dt still clings to her dress. Not being able to contact them. And I'm sure it's bcos the husband felt threatened by her rich parents he did all dt. And her parents warned her b4 marrying dt poor man o, now see what he did. What an elder sees sitting down, a child really can't see even if he climbs a stool. DSFs father is a villain in this story. His kids can only forgive him to find peace but I pray dt her and her brother live a good life their mum will be proud of.
This is so beautiful. One major thing about growing up is understanding our parents' choices and forgiving their "mistakes".Loved seeing this vunerable side of DSF
Another name for this podcast is sip tea and spread love, because every single episode has this love that is felt so immensely. Taymesan, this country is nowhere near where we should be in terms of accepting each other but I know you and this community have started something that will bring about the change we want to see in this country and in ourselves. Thank you 😊
I’m actually one of those that misunderstood her before now, there’s a lot of lessons to learn from this and this whole episode was a lot of emotions, thank you for for sharing DSF.❤️
Listening to this episode and OMG! The vulnerability 😟. I was close to tears a lot, not out of pity, but because it’s so easy for us humans to misjudged people without even knowing their stories. And the media have definitely put this woman out in a “not so positive” light. I admire her so much and even more respect for her now.
I've always love MS DSF.... You're so strong, beautiful and down to earth. Keep being amazing 👏. Well done Taymesan for another great episode. Each one gets better and better.
This is the best yet! I resonated with this story a lot because I am your”mother” right now! I pray the lord heals your heart and when it’s time, you will be an exceptional mother and no one will take that away from you!
Tbvh, this video actually helped calm some thoughts in my head relating to my parents, being bullied in school and the feeling rejected and the abuse my God🥺😪I can relate to this heavily. Plus ever since 2019/2020 I figured you were my birthday mate and now this, I love you so much DSF, you being so vulnerable here telling your story, Mama we gangster forever 💝💝💝.
I just hope we all learn from our parent’s mistakes because no matter what, these kids don’t deserve to be denied love from the both parents. It’s not fair at all , letting them go through life alone, it has an effect, take it or leave. She’s really strong I must say.

I just hope we all learn from our parent’s mistakes because no matter what, these kids don’t deserve to be denied love from the both parents. It’s not fair at all , letting them go through life alone, it has an effect, take it or leave. She’s really strong I must say.
It’s always good to see the human side of people
What she encountered through her life is really painful, that’s why she’s deserving of all her successful endeavours now
Hopefully her mum *and* dad are proud 🕊
