Bruce Willis, Milla Jovovich, and Gary Oldman star in acclaimed director Luc Besson's outrageous sci-fi adventure, an extravagantly styled tale of good against evil set in an unbelievable twenty-third century world.

“Father you smoke??” Gets me every time 😂
lol. THAT, and how he thinks he has to excuse himself for not having a match on him. "I stopped smoking. If I knew..."
no i don't smoke, the cigarette does...
"I have no fire, I-I-I mean I have no matches, anybody have any matches? I have no matches, I-I-I Stopped smoking, if I knew.. Father, you smoke?" 🤣👌
I love how fast he talks in that scene...
Chris Tucker's "Corbin ma men" really cracks me up! He's so hilarious😂🤣
Man Tucker deserved at least 1 Oscar for this role. The way he pulled of this role is such an astronomical performance.
I couldn't stand it originally, but now that we live in clown world for real, it's refreshing to see.
I like how Zorgs empire was almost destroyed by a cherry, and the world was saved because of a single match.
Ain't life like that? The butterfly effect?
The match was a good example of a story telling technique called Chekov's Gun
Was there a cherry? Where was it?
@tests when zorg had a heart to heart talk with the Priest
@@mikhailabdurrachman2443 oh the choking scene I remember now!
One of the best Sci Fi films ever made.... brilliant script, casting and pacing....just brilliant....
It’s a great film, regardless of genre. The final scene when impact is imminent is breathtaking.
I prefer this movie over Armageddon
" I think mine's broken. Why did I get the broken one?"
You do have to wonder how many takes they had to do on that considering they had someone blowing on the match to simulate a draft in the place and you know the match got blown out more then once. :)
"AHHHHH! What's wrong wiv you!? Whatcha' screamin' for!? Every 5 minutes there's somethin' a bomb or somethin'! I'm leavin'!....BZzzzZZZZZt!"
This film is 10 years ahead of the films of its era, I watched it when I was in high school, now I am 40 years old
To think Luc Besson had a trilogy planned but this didn’t perform well in the US box office. To think it’s a cult classic now.
The film was amazing. Luc Besson is very great👍👍👍
I first watched this movie at new years eve when we were visiting parents friends for get together. I was 10 years old more or less. Good memory was watching this movie. Was glued to screen.
3:22 “I don’t know love. I was built to protect not love.”
Wow, that’s the most compelling line in the entire movie.
Not to love*
and thats the reason why the mission was to corben instead the priest since he had feelings for her but afraid cause of a failed marriage.
"What's the point of protecting life when I see what you do with it?"
Probably one of the hardest hitting lines I've heard in a movie. If there is a God/god-like entity, I'm sure it asks itself this question everyday.
You're not alone in this thought.
I agree
its not that deep nerd
John Coffey said the same thing in The Green Mile.

Call me an old softy...but I think this is one of the most beautiful scenes in any movie...idk why.
Love IS the 5th element
🤣😂🤣
Без сомнения!
The way he makes him jump at the end is hilarious 😂
His reaction is so perfect for the moment. If it wasn’t organic, he really nailed it. It looked like he got stung by a wasp. Superb! Can’t think of another actor who could have pulled off the physical comedy like Tucker did. Made for the perfect counterpoint to Willis’ severity. I couldn’t stand Chris Tucker in this role originally, but I realize now how his frantic energy and style added just the right touch to the pacing and tone.
4:32 I absolutely love the addition of Bruce's scream to the sound.
Same. I've always love that.
Made it so much more intense ❤
Real goku power up
In space everyone can hear Bruce Willis scream.
Love is the fifth element
What if the real fifth element was the friends we made along the way?
The Straight Love.
@@6-dpegasus425 do you love them? ❤️
Shut up.
Love is the fifth element. Not clever

Chris tucker is absolutely hilarious....
he´s so green!
Super green.
He is the worst part of this movie
@@wladyslawaaron1443 False
@@wladyslawaaron1443 He's probably the best part of this movie. He's hilarious in every scene he's in.
I cried everytime with this scene. When she is crying and he tells her that he loves her.
This scene with the epic music…… I love it.
I have really cried.😭😭😭
😢
This movie was amazing! Hands down one of my favorite movies for forever!
I love the little detail about those lines.
Wind has wavey lines on the upper side
Fire has vertical lines at bottom like fire
Water has wavey lines at bottom
Earth has straight lines at bottom
Those are basic symbols of the elements
@@clickchick6861 oh ok. Well, I still liked it enough to mention 😄
Elemental symbols
Bilbo keeps getting dragged into world-ending scenarios.
McLane too.
trapped souls
Oh my god of course! it’s Ian Holm! I didn’t put two & two together until your comment 🤦♀️ all these years 🤣
The resolution on this movie that is 25 years old is amazing. It's also just a wonderful movie.
Wait till you see this version in 8K resolution.
3:56 Korben struggles to say it because he’s already had one marriage fail, this is what makes great acting.
the Holly Gennero McClane situation?
Korben hesitates because the timing has to push the countdown to the very last second. Another sci-fi movie cliche.

LOVE is the 5th element! ❤️ 💕
drowning, burning, burriing, blowin, loovin... strong!
"I'm leaving... bzzzzzzzzzt!" 😂
Ruby tired of everything and the funny thing is you can't even blame him, it's absolutely not on his payroll 😂
"What's the use of saving life when you see what you do with it" hits me like a damn train every time.
That scene were it shows the planet hovering over earth, about the same distance as the moon. Makes me wonder if the writer/director intended it to show that the moon was the last time evil got close and the 5th element stopped it then as well...
"The year is X00X, the Earth has 14 moons" lol
The planet stopped sixty miles from impact. The moon is 240,000 miles away from earth.
@@cruelty6368 that always bugged me because at that distance the Planet should crash into earth due to gravity. The only reason could be that this planet has different properties compared to a regular one but i think they chose 62 miles just for dramatic effect and didnt think about it.
@@Tom21369 If this planet was stopped from hitting the Earth, that force could also have put it into an orbit. Doesn't really show that though in the movie.
@@Project_-jq7jw as far as i know such a low orbit wouldnt be sustainable between two bodies of that mass and they would crash into each other regardless.
This movie was an absolutely bonkers wonderful masterpiece of cinema and I miss the days when the Luc Besson's of the World where free to make movies like this.
Chris Tucker very underrated performance
everyone loved his performance. not underrated at all.
Chris dis his best for the character. well done Chris.
@@obscurereference6298 Well... not everyone :)
@@BlackSailPass_GuitarCovers everyone who matters
@@obscurereference6298 Cute. But I disagree - he wore out his welcome quickly and become absolutely grating in later scenes.
Still being one of the most touching movie scene, still got the wonder and the suspense when i firts saw it in the teather; the power within LeeLoo couldn't work out if she wouldn't be loved; Corben couldn't be saved from a depressive life if he couldn't love! So, it's quite interesting the metaphorical way how Luc Besson wanted to tell us, the Love is the only salvation! Anyone has the link for this movie in HD please?
Do you want a free link or an official stream website?
Love....
I don't know love.......
Love for saving other's life
Just feel the dialogue delivery with background music......
It's truly emotional
Serious props to Tommy Lister’s acting as the president, who does feel like a real person and man does he convey that real fear of the impeding end during the countdown
I always thought he was underrated as an actor, I don't think anyone could have played deebo as well as he did, and his small role as the inmate in the dark knight was really great
RIP big man
I just noticed that the giant comet after it cooled off looks like a 2nd moon. Maybe that's how the first one got their!
Interesting theory
@@luisruizcalderon2450 thank you I can't believe I just noticed it after the 1000th time seeing it lol
Same. Every time I see it, first thing I say is, "Ayy, now Earth's got two moons ;D"
🌕🌓
When Chris Tucker's character just randomly screams at 0:43 ha!.
The absolute last person you would want with you in that situation
One of my favourite all time movies: sci-fi, humour, action, often hilarious.
True love's kiss made Leeloo awaken as her true potential Quintesence the heart of all four elements
dissoriented to the moment
My most favourite film of all time ever. The most powerful message and ending ever!!!
I love Chris's reaction at the end, it looks like the two monks were in on it together on scaring him, their reactions cracks me up too...
I love this film, one of my all time favourite
Chris Tucker was HILARIOUS in that role! 😂😂😂
Every time I rewatch this scene, I'm just so dumbfounded by how intense it is...
Such a beautiful movie. And great message.
Great editing, great sensitive soundtrack instead of a bombastic "Victory" tune. Superbly fun movie.
I love that it causes a shadow even though you can see the sun.
The film was amazing. Bruce Willis and Mila Jovovich was the best starring to this film. Luc Besson was very great. 👍👍👍
Film trivia .. Luc Besson was married to the woman who played the part of the Opera Diva but after the film was finished he divorced her and married Mila Jovovich.
LOVE ❤️ IS THE FIFTH ELEMENT. ❤❤❤
Element of life : LOVE
I love how when they’re counting down to impact it shows how emotional people get thinking Earth is about to be destroyed.
Classic movie 🍿 ever. 🐝 bzzzz..
Maybe the reason why they chose Bruce Willis and not Nick Cage (I know, it was more than 10 years earlier).
Not gona lie I was literally holding my breath at Sean 2:25 lol.
Chris Tucker's reaction at the end when there was celebration is how I feel now. When and where is the next catastrophe?
Exactly. Especially now that we have a dozen superhero feature films each year.
i loved this film. very strange but loveable.
My favorite movie forever!
Love is the true Fifth Element. That's the takeaway that I get.
I remember SBS playing it over and over so many times in one day. Awesome
The most beautiful scene of the entire movie - i loved it!
I love how the 5th element is love.
Great movie miss those days
God damn man, still a masterpiece.
When I went to see this in the theaters, the film broke long before this and I never knew what happened in the end.
Still a powerful scene after all these years.
And that's how the moon really came into being.
I love how I wasn’t the only one who noticed, I love how when the dead planet stopped above our earth they made sure to show our moon in the scene where the dead planet stopped to make people think.
Love this movie 🎥
The Fifth Element was a test of the human ability to love unselfishly.
That is Fantastic . . . thanks for sharing 🍿
That beam of light epic
Beautiful movie
I watched it again at the theater last year for its 25th anniversary. Outstanding
Best part of the movie.
Just. FABULOUS!
When the fate of the entire planet relies on a match not going out.
Really gorgeous animations
What a classic.
Great movie
To see that power in a so small body is always outstanding
Most underrated movie ever
What is the difference between matches and safety matches?
The only difference between safety matches and strike-anywhere matches is that the match head of the latter contains red phosphorus as well as an oxidising agent and sulphur. This allows it to ignite on any surface when friction creates heat.27.5.2020
Love is Worth Saving ...💓
He did set the world on fire after all...in a matter of speaking.
One of the greatest movies of the 20th Century.
2:10 I remember watching this in the theater as a young teen and everyone held their breath and did a little inhale when the flame flickered! It was soo crazy!!!

Лучший фильм всех времён и народов! - ✌🏻
I was just randomly watching clips of this film, since it’s been so long since I’ve even thought about The Fifth Element. Only to find out that today’s Milla Jovovich’s (Leeloo) birthday! What a coincidence!
I should rewatch this film classic sometime, since it’s been so long, and I feel like I’ll understand a lot more now as an adult.
5:20 When I used to deliver my homework at 11:59 p.m. being the deadline at 12:00 a.m. in the online platform.

Fifth Element and Warrior of Virtue are the best two movies based on classical elements in release in May 1997
The level of technology needed to concentrate all that power in seemingly innocuous stones...
Get well soon bruce. 🙏
Anyone else notice the "Invader" casting a shadow even though the Sun was in the background on the horizon?

The end of this clip when he screams yea! Reminds me of rocket when the avengers are putting the stones in and he goes boom 😂💀

Safety matches are matches that will only ignite when struck against a specially prepared striking surface like those found on the sides of matchbooks and matchboxes. For this reason, they are also known as “strike on box matches.” They are the most common type of match available today.20.1.2021
5th element love
Just realized the light sticks they have must obviously run on some form of electricity, they could’ve busted one open and used the sparks had the match went out. Possibly lol. Gotta watch this again, one of my favorites
