So when it got horizontal (pointing to 3) it would slip, and the weight would make it vertical (pointing to 12). When my friends and I were raiding the refrigerator, someone would always notice "That clock went backwards!" And I'd say "What?" and I'd watch with them, and when it got halfway between 2 and 3, I'd walk away and say "Aaa. You're crazy." Then a second or two later "It just did it again!!" And again, I'd watch with them for about 10 seconds and walk away. Sometimes it went on for a long time. Some people never figured it out. I'd love to have that clock again.
