Appreciate all the good things you're saying about the Allez in the past few vids. Picked up an old 2009 model August but only did 500+ miles on it since it was slightly too big and the back end of the bike felt heavy. Other than those two things the Allez definetely has some special magic in it. It was incredibly comfortable to ride - I did 150 miles on it one night and felt like I could have done 30 more if I didn't run out of time. Definitely going to get a modern one in the future.
Ahhh dope. The 09 was such a big deal when it came out. I remember the curved top tube i had one with a cateye computer 😂 lol bro if you get the new one it will be a game changer. I would put that bike up against any 15k carbon bike. Also Where did you go on the 150 miles?
@@Lubecycling Just around the city, a lot of it was laps in Central. I'm planning on doing NYC to DC in one day next year as soon as the weather gets warm. If I can beat that I'll go for NYC to Boston next. Next year I'm determined to hit all the long distance rides I've seen other cyclists do.
Dude! The roads in Dutchess County are my fave. I have not done it in years but I used to ride around there often. I have plans on retiring in Rhinebeck lol some day
Yea we did. It depends what we're doing I guess, if we want to do more than a century then include it. Starting in Babylon is dope because it puts you right on Montauk Highway.
Just a Gopro Hero 12. No Mods or anything. I do upscale to 4k though. One thing i dont like and its not Gopro related is that the colors come out washed post edit but i am working on it. Let me know if you have any questions
Sorry for the stupid question but what kind of lock do you bring with you so you can lock up your bike on the train? Because otherwise I’d want that bike sitting right next to me or I won’t sit still.
Never a stupid question. I have never locked any of my bikes because when you spend $$$ on it you really never leave it alone or someone you ride with always guards them when you take turns in stores or bathroom breaks. On Trains always near you.
Oh it was more of a solo ride. He asked me not wait on him and if anything he may jump on the train back at the many train stations on the route. Glad he finished though 💪🏽
Thats where I work 😂 not sure when the next ride is. Just got the Zwift bike yesterday so i might fein on that for a few days. I did GFNY before its pretty dope! Sometimes we just do the route. Vito is awesome you will probably meet him on Sunday wish I could ride
You and Luis Scott have the best cycling channels on RUclips. Keep up the good work.
Ahhh I really appreciate that! Would be pretty awesome to ride with Luis Scott someday! Thank you so much

Def not a stupid question. No lock but i sit a few feet away from it where I can see it the entire time
love the music on your videos forgot to mention that👍
Thank you! I think thats the most difficult part of editing

I like to do that ride with you guys next year.
Sounds like a plan! Ill make a ride and remind you
You shouldn't have left your buddy like that, he could've had a mechanical problem

I was totally there man.
🙌🏾💪🏽
I would like to ride 100 miles on my road bike
You can! Its not as difficult as it looks; just have to build up to it and then it becomes nothing.
Bro, can I ride with you? I'm from the heights!
Hahah no way, where in the heights? I was born and raised in the heights. But yea of course you can
@ dope, I’m on 168 st., When’s the next ride? I’m joining the GFNY training ride at 9 am on Sunday.
