The painting that is shown after Sharon ends the call is actually apart of a series that depicts two women wearing the same dress. Potentially pointing to Sharon having 2 identities? Or being just one part of a pair?

Correct. It is possible he had replicas made. Bucky is still trying to find his identity. He may be trying to find comfort in whatever was familiar to him before he was taken by Hydra, like the shield, dog tags, 40s music.

And to be more explicit, I think Sharon Carter is pulling a Fury by hiring Batroc to help the Flag Smashers. Its going to either be with the goal of luring out the Power Broker so Carter can take over the role, or as a diversion to steal information from the GRC and prove their corruption. Maybe both. Walker says, "I am Captain America" twice. Once during the fight with Sam and Bucky, and again at a podium. This is reverse of Tony Stark's statement, "I am Iron Man". First at a podium and then after the Thanos battle.
He was PUT THERE BY THE US GOVERNMENT and did everything he could to be the man he was asked to be- but Falcon and Bucky and so many others gave him grief and hell despite him trying so hard to do what was expected of him. They betrayed him and never supported him and actually purposely resisted him and fought him and by that, what he became is THEIR FAULT and they should feel shame for what they did. I would love to rage at Falcon and Bucky for that, being a weak old man and all that I am compared to them. This has become another episode of a man used and abused by so many and tossed aside once no longer useful for their cause. Thats the underlying story here that I see and I can call up several examples of this happening today. People are already calling him a villain (like OP in the video) and he was ONLY doing his job- what he was trained for, what they FORCED him to be (sad how OP actually included the Rambo scenes and still didnt understand it like so many others). When Sam runs during his training, we can see that he isn’t running in the center of the screen. Bucky is MVP of this series for me with Sam as a very close second! When he says to Walker “yeah we do” and then just lunges straight at him and then when he just drops Sam the shield like ‘mission complete’! Top acting from Stan 👏🏽 and from Mackie in that moment wiping the blood, just upset that it’s gotten this far!
Here are my favorite moments in this episode: - the talk between Isaiah and Sam, because it's so touching and well written, the end of that talk left me speechless, - the talk between Bucky and Sam, because it's so positive and revitalizing, it looks to the future, - the awesome fight of Bucky and Sam against Walker, so cool, and at the end of that right, we have that powerful moment of Bucky returning the shield to Sam, and Sam broken with the sight of a shield now so corrupted and covered in blood. I also enjoyed to be able to see at least a tired Zemo in front of that monument just waiting and thinking. That matches what we know about the character. And the panel to announce Walker that he loses his status as Captain America. This episode is really full of wonderful moments. What a great episode.
You don't actually know that Bucky was given the name White Wolf from kids. The fact that Ayo also addresses him with that name should lead you to believe that it's an actual title. And the beginning of Iron Man 2 was already a villain version of the Tony Stark building in a cave scene.
Sharon Carter is probably a double-blind. She's likely working deep cover for Fury, and you may remember that MCU Batroc has a habit of being hired by Nick for off-the-books work on his behalf.
When John Walker broke down right before Sam and Bucky talked to him, they played the Theme from Civil War, symbolizing, the loss Walker felt and implying the „real“ problems these heroes face.
One thing I noticed was Walker's facial hair. When we first see him he's clean shaven like anyone who is in the military and that's no joke. But as we get further into the series the more he falls from Army regulations.

@@Nickzstuff I may have misunderstood your comment. I think one of the reasons they haven't been so prominent is possibly to give all the other characters time to develop. I can see Shuri being the one to come up with the name.
I liked that when Bucky was on the couch the two kids see him wake up and run away like the kids in wakanda did too. Its a small thing but its adorable.
John Walker, Isaiah Bradley and Zemo brought the show to a completely different level. The gray areas and harsh truths being explored, make it really special.
The text on Sokovian memorial. Is written in Serbian. And it means: In memory of the victims of Sokovia. As a Serbian i really liked this scene
Whew, had to scroll a long time to find this. Thanks for picking up the ball that they dropped for a dumb joke.
The last Time when Sam catches shield, he’s wearing red and blue T-shirt foreshadowing him as the new Captain America
He is Captain America.
@@knekt6874 that's what he just said
Captain America and Falcon movie when?
them clearly showing him becoming the new Captain America I think is the biggest piece of foreshadowing him as the new Captain America
When Sam's nephew began running with him, I was so waiting for an "On your right" to happen.
Me too :D
The fight scene where bucky is holding walker while falcon is trying to yank the shield out of his arm is reminiscent to when the avengers tried yanking the gauntlet from thanos
I saw that and made a comment about it, seen other comments about it too but no youtuber has mentioned it that i've seen. Surprising i thought it was obvious.
The painting that is shown after Sharon ends the call is actually apart of a series that depicts two women wearing the same dress. Potentially pointing to Sharon having 2 identities? Or being just one part of a pair?
I really think she is the broker
That's not Sharon. That's a Skrull impersonating Sharon.
I now realized the strongest substance on earth isn't the vibranium in cap's shield... it's the strap that's strong enough to hold it no matter what. from thanos, to here, the strap's still alive and intact
It's a vibranium strap 😂😂😂
They changed the strap a few times through the mcu. N it went through 70 more yrs offscreen
@@MrSurgecoykendall they have not showed the strap got ripped or being replaced. it's an adamantium strap, lol 😅😅😅
@@ecu4321 yep they did, it was magnetic in winter soldier. So there's atleast 2 strap changes
Y'all talking bout straps........straps🤦♂️
Walker building his own shield in the way Iron man did is a subtle hint that he could be the leader of the Dark Avengers.
I had to actively hold back tears when falcon tried to wipe the blood from the shield.
I instantly felt all the layers of the blood on the shield can't just be wiped away, now the shield/steve is covered in blood of the "innocent", i sullied the shield/steve by giving it up letting this happen.
all that sh...stuff f'n...freaken hurt
Those dog tags aren’t Steve’s. Sebastian Stan posted a pic of those tags on Instagram when they began shooting, it had Bucky’s name on them.
I think that Hydra had them in storage somewhere & Bucky went looking for them after hydra's fall.
Correct. It is possible he had replicas made. Bucky is still trying to find his identity. He may be trying to find comfort in whatever was familiar to him before he was taken by Hydra, like the shield, dog tags, 40s music.
I watch these videos purely for amusement purposes and the guy sometimes just makes stuff up like that or has predictions that have no chance at becoming true (see all the WandaVision videos)
@@nixxie2390 This would be an epic story/mini-series. Bucky raiding old HYDRA facilities to find his tags. I could see it being part of his Wakandan White Wolf arc, the tags being the last thing left from his life before the Winter Soldier.
I mean the US government probably wouldn’t have a reason to give him new dog tags, but the talking head said they don’t have a plan to reissue them, and they do, so weird things to say. Probably something from hydra or a lapse in continuity
That scene in Isiah's living room was chilling and so amazingly shot. Marvel Studios is wonderful.
Batroc also was hired by Fury to attack the Lemurian Star in Winter Soldier movie
Batroc is always pitted against the heroes and always getting paid for it😂
And to be more explicit, I think Sharon Carter is pulling a Fury by hiring Batroc to help the Flag Smashers. Its going to either be with the goal of luring out the Power Broker so Carter can take over the role, or as a diversion to steal information from the GRC and prove their corruption. Maybe both. She had to remind him of what she owed him and pay him double so that he'll do what she asks but Not actually kill Sam.
Wrong, he was hired by Pierce.
Why do people forgets that Fury is still alive. He could be using sharon as and Agent,
@@triforcegaming2678 Incorrect, Pierce had his own men on the ship. No reason to get Batroc involved. Fury needed an excuse to raid the ship and sneak Black Widow into the control room for her separate mission. Why, because he's a super suspicious guy and knew something fishy was going on. Even his secrets have secrets. Pierce turned the evidence of Fury hiring Batroc against Fury and Cap, but he didn't frame Fury.
no one else thinks it’s Zola’s eyes on the tv at the grc meeting when it cuts out ?? I think that’s a clear sign

@@kgibs02 well man, it's the most prominent and plausible theory
In the comic Madame Hydra (the cameo one) is revealed to be a Skrull during The Secret Invasion comic event. I could see a post-credit scene setting up Secret Invasion with an evil Skrull replacing her, or he revealed to be a Skrull.
Oooh! That’s good!
One day you idiots will realize PTSD is real (Walker suffers from it, CLEARLY! especially when his best friend and confidant, the only man who believed in him was killed in front of him in battle) and that disease is caused by humans (Gov), perpetuated by humans (Gov and civilians dikheds) and the victims suffering from PTSD are being villainized for suffering from it. When Bucky says "when Steve told me his plans..." Does that mean that Bucky knew Steve was going to live in the past?
I think so, because right before Steve went back in time in Endgame, he and Bucky shared this look and Bucky wasn't surprised when he didn't come back through time travel
@@enithetalkative True, it's like Bucky knew. I guess it's never been confirmed though.
Steve could have told Bucky before he left or anytime during or after his rehabilitation...old Steve could helped and or explained anytime it would not effect the past!
100% I've thought this simce I saw endgame. I think Steve even told him that he was going to grow old with Peggy.
I really meant it as more of a confirmation. Sure it's been speculated, but was this the first time it's been said out loud?
This episode was interesting. I hope the finale is a good conclusion!
Like wandavision, I think it will probably have an another cliffhanger for other mcu movies
Factz. Point blank the right way to say it. This was a great episode. Hopefully they can keep it going for next week's show
The damage that Isaiah shows to Sam when lifting his shirt looks like it was caused by a metal fist from a left arm (since its on Isaiah's right side). Makes sense that they'd send the Winter Soldier to secure the POW "evidence".
It's supposed to be scares from them implanting remove items and samples recreate and test the serum...why his worked and how to make more...he doesn't need both kidneys, his appendix, all his liver or blood! That's how they make more!
Has nobody noticed that when John Walker holds the shield the star is always pointing down
Right from the get go. It's why I can't understand the folks complaining that "Cap" Walker is a bad guy. It was always there to see.
Oooooooooo SATAN🔥🔥🔥🔥
Nope. It's when he holds it in his right hand for attacking. When he first had an interview on the playing field it was the right way up because it was on his left arm
Same did the falcon

When Sam runs during his training, we can see that he isn’t running in the center of the screen. And as the scene starts to zoom out, we notice that he is running on the right side of the track leaving an “empty” space “on his left.” And that symbolizes captain’s America legacy running ON HIS LEFT, which is a throwback to the first time we are introduced to Sam.
Best episode yet. Tackled some thorny issues. Superb
when the shield came straight back towards the camera i flinched so hard my heart stopped
Man, John Walker is so flawed that is amazing. He will definitely be an amazing anti-hero. Can’t wait to see him

I think Valentina is a Skrull. There is a Secret Wars movie coming up. Valentina was a Skrull in Secret Wars, so this could be a lead in to that.
When John walker was making the new shield when he hammered the metal it sounded like the audio at the end of endgame (in my opinion).
I thought the same
Sharron Carter is a skrull. Called it the first episode back. She’s effectively taking the place of the spider woman skrull in secret invasion. That painting is about killing and eating them... and taking their place. She’s a freaking skrull.
I thought it was weird they would cut to a painting. When Sharon calls someone to say they have a problem she calling Skrull hq?
I don’t think so, she knows too much about Bucky and Sam and is obviously emotionally involved
@@shisah5544 idk about the comics but I think Skrulls can copy memories too.
@@MrDrProfessorSir962 in Captain Marvel they say that they can recall recent memories. Nothing long term...but they did have that device she was in that could look into their past. The area where the sokovia memorial is reminds me of the cabin by the lake at the end of wandavision.
Edit: you're the first video I've seen talk about it.
See the WandaVision recap of the final episode. That’s where Ryan said this theory originally.
in the scene where Bucky gives Sam "the gift" from Wakandians he first lifts up the engine with ease and than strugles a bit with the case. Shows how heavy it actually is
Loving this series, can't believe it's going to end already! Sam is amazing and Bucky is just hot..
"Making tea and learning evil"...ah, the good ol days.
Damn, these flag smashers are annoying "no more flag smasher"
Here are my favorite moments in this episode:
- the talk between Isaiah and Sam, because it's so touching and well written, the end of that talk left me speechless,
- the talk between Bucky and Sam, because it's so positive and revitalizing, it looks to the future,
- the awesome fight of Bucky and Sam against Walker, so cool, and at the end of that right, we have that powerful moment of Bucky returning the shield to Sam, and Sam broken with the sight of a shield now so corrupted and covered in blood.
She's likely working deep cover for Fury, and you may remember that MCU Batroc has a habit of being hired by Nick for off-the-books work on his behalf.
or a triple agent who is actually working for Leviathan
After asking for another favor from Ayo, Bucky just seems a happy man and also has a poker face when Sam says Steve is gone. Interesting.
their keeping the door open hoping to get chris evans back to play cap I just know it
When John Walker broke down right before Sam and Bucky talked to him, they played the Theme from Civil War, symbolizing, the loss Walker felt and implying the „real“ problems these heroes face.
There were multiple times the Civil War music played (mostly in the 4th episode though^^)
Elijah's airball will make him realize he's not cut out for the pro ranks and will decide to be a superhero instead.
I think Sam becoming Captain America will inspire Elijah Bradley to become a superhero. Partly for himself and for his grandfather.
jumper was broke asl !!
One thing I noticed was Walker's facial hair. When we first see him he's clean shaven like anyone who is in the military and that's no joke. But as we get further into the series the more he falls from Army regulations.
He shaved for the hearing, though.
@@ColorMeConfused29 He has to because he's on trial and there is a lot of brass in that room.

He is such a well written character and Wyatt Russell does an amazing job playing him! I already knew Mackie, Sebastian and Daniel Brühl were great but Wyatt is definitely the discovery of this show for me. I hope we see him again in the MCU and this also leads to other great projects for him.
It takes a great actor to make a character genuinely unlikable.
@@HiddenNinjaxx Unlikeable but still understandable. Great character development.
i love the "employers must wash hands OR PAWS" sign at the back
When Sam throws the shield on the dock and catches it with both of his hands, I thought, “that would break both my hands”
That would break my skull.
I honestly cant wait for sam to wear his captain America outfit like in the comics.
Can't wait to see his new wings, idk what they look like in the comics so I'm excited
Maybe he gets a vibranium captain America suit and that’s what is in the box
@@kylekoke6022 - That’s my guess: the Flag-Smashers & Batroc think they’ll be going up against Falcon-Sam w US Army/Stark-lite tech, and instead it’s full-on Cap-Sam with the best Shuri/Wakanda tech. This will be how they manage to defeat the FS & Batroc in the end (my first thought after seeing Sam open that box and realizing it was the perfect size for a supersuit).
Torres has a great underrated joke he says to Bucky. “Hey, you found your sleeve!” Which refers to when Bucky jumped out of the plane he tore the sleeve off his jacket covering his metal arm first.
Falcon's flipping and handstanding moves during his training montage looks like capoeira, an acrobatic Afro-Brazilian martial art developed by enslaved Africans in Brazil at the beginning of the 16th century.

The phrases "making amends" and "being of service" are used in Alcoholics Anonymous and Winter Soldier is a person who is working to overcome a force that was completely controlling his life.
that screen distortion at the end feels like Zola as Power Broker theory is still in play
John Walker and Zemo need spin off shows. ASAP!
John Walker will be part of Dark Avengers or Thunderbolts and Zemo is 100% going to lead the Thunderbolts.
Walker can take on the Nomad / Scourge character and essentially be anti-hero vs Zemo's anti-villain
My favorite scene in this episode is starting at 47:56, where Sam is running and the camera slowly slides to the right, referencing the time, when Steve ran past him saying "On your left". I don't know if this was intentional or not, but it really got me there.
The flagsmashers haven't done enough to build up to a suspenseful final episode. Without the original virus plot, they have become nothing
Flag smashers and karly is the only weak point of this show
Man, they literally are 7 (or is it 6 now?) super-soldiers together. It's an Avengers level threat if you ask me.
@@amerpdx na, bad screenwriting doesn't = avengers level threat
@@luckybychance05 agree. I'm sure with the virus plot line they would have had more of a presence. if they were more pro-killing people they would be more of a threat. I was expecting some deaths during the GRC scene at the end of ep 5.
@@Nickzstuff I may have misunderstood your comment. I think one of the reasons they haven't been so prominent is possibly to give all the other characters time to develop. The biggest villain so far hasn't been flag smashers but rather Walker. Flag Smashers are more a plot device than actually fully flashed characters, they are there to put Walker in conflict with Sam and Bucky. That being their purpose, they're good enough. Sure at first they had the serum, but that was just to keep things interesting until all the elements in the story are in the place.

The more and more we get to know Sam. The more I want to believe That he is worthy of Holding Mjolnir as well as being Captain America
Hadn't ever thought about how DANGEROUS the shield could be until Sam is training with it!
EXCELLENT camera work to give us a "up close and personal" view that demonstrates how AWESOME and powerful it actually is!
I dunno why but it made me so happy to see Bucky and Sarah flirting lol great episode despite the lack of action, can't wait to see Sam in the new suit. I hope we actually get to see him wear it for a lot of the run time, and not just a couple minutes or less.
I don’t know if this is an unpopular opinion, but way to much action just robs the story of its full potential.
This episode was so good in my mind because they balanced the amount of action needed and the amount of story.
"...the only Black man in the work" @ryanarey Nope, the saviour of those sailors is shown as a Black man holding up the flag to a passing ship, I've seen this painting in Paris and it's amazing!
I think there's a correlation between Bucky sparing Zemos life in this episode and Tchalla sparing Zemos life in civil war. The Dora Milaje were right there too to give him proper justice instead of executing him on the spot
I loved that they show the nephews playing with the shield! That’s exactly what I would be doing!
Bucky could be wearing "his" dog tags, just not the exact same ones from WW2. You can get custom dog tags made at a lot of military museums, probably some Army-Navy stores, and I'm sure places on the internet now. He could have easily had new copies made.
