Every year I think “maybe we should go somewhere else other than Cozumel”. Every year we end up saying “naaaa”. Love it there. Always great dives for the reasons you point out
Loved your video, beautiful images and a wonderful happy vibe! I haven't dove Cozumel for several years but will get to again next April. In the meantime, I have videos like this to remind me of great times to come!
You'll love Alor, Indonesia 🇮🇩 then! Nautika Dive Alor are the guys to do it with! Going back for my Divemaster there 🙌🙌✨ They have everything! From untouched coral reefs to all things palegic, even a lot of macros to identify, over 70 dive sites and many are still being discovered.. I'll be exploring only 32 of them! Haha 😂
Amazing video! It's so great that you share your love for the ocean. Scuba diving is such an amazing water activity and it's lovely to see you enjoy it, same for surfing, keep going with these great videos. If it doesn't bother yoy, I'd like to give you a suggestion, a tip for the next videos: Basically, you could try inserting some comic and funny stuff... to give everyone a pinch of humor that, in the world of diving and surfing, can never be missing. Now, I don't think much of it, but the first thing I could think of in your sport might be peeing in the water. Once, my uncle, who is a scuba diver, peed in his wetsuit during a long diving session and that moment was absolutely funny, he even wrote "I’m peeing" on a waterproof notebook during the session. He has always been telling me that there are 2 types of divers and swimmers: those who pee in the water and those who lie. I know it may sound strange as a request but, in my opinion, these are moments of happiness and carefree that always make everyone smile. I hope you like the idea and I hope you have a wonderful day!
Most of the best diving is usually deeper (40-90 feet). I would recommend diving with a trusted guide service. They will give you a good dive briefing and help protect your safety!
Thanks for sharing. I was in Cozumel on JAN 06-09 and did some snorkeling at Playa Corona, also did the SeaTrek at Jeanies. I definitely want to go back to go in the water again and next time spend more time in Cozumel. How deep did you go?
The dives range in depth, but the best stuff is usually between 40 and 90 feet. There are some shallower sites but the coral is not as abundant. ScubaLuis offers classes for first time/newer divers in case you are interested in getting out there!
I´m going to Playa del Carmen and Cozumel in two weeks time. I intend to take my own gear including a 3mm wetsuit. Will that be ok? I see so many people diving in rash vests and shorts but I prefer to be covered up particularly if I do some deeper dives.
I recommend diving with Scuba Luis. Their boats max out at smaller party sizes compared to other operators and offer a much better diving experience. The DMs are also top notch. scubaluis.com/

Great foftage, what did you shoot it with, did you use additional lights?
Great video!! Are there any shallow dives, like 30 to 40 feet? I don't want to dive 50 to 60 feet! Going in November!

I used 3mm for 10 dives in Cozumel recently. Warm water.
Wow amazing, how experienced do you need to be for this type of dive?
An advanced cert is recommended since you're doing some pretty deep (60-90 feet) dives. Open water is all that is required though!
I've only been there a few times. I've you have some experience, then I'd like to know where you stay and which dive operators you like. Please share.
