I'm glad those Mangrove Snappers making thier way up here! Good to see you out again! BTW, I think I met Non on Monday alimacani park looking for fiddler crabs😅 Deng. Now im hungry 😂
Hahaha Yeap! I almost packed up and crossed the river on the ferry to go fish for Sheeps with him. Would’ve been a lot nicer in the shade under the bridge😓
Thanks for another great video! I liked the catch n cook style and I also really appreciated the map of targeted spots and your explanation of how/why you target those spots.
I could never catch fish on artificials. Went to strikezone and got the trout eye 1/8 with swimming mullet gulp and caught red, flounder, and trout yesterday launching from dockside boat ramp. Thanks for sharing
Glad it just isn’t me lol. Just not lots of water depth variation out there. Primarily shallow and extremely soft mud. I like lots of shells and areas with different water depths🙌
Terrible time of year and time of day to hit Dutton. In the summer if you’re not there at dawn, don’t even bother. Many slams from Dutton, you just have to hit it at the right time.
Damn dude I’m in town from Pensacola visiting my family and I saw that spot on my map and was about to go try it cause it looked good. I guess I’m just going to hit Heckscher.
It is a very good spot, it's just 1 bad day that happened on his 1st day. Water does not get any hotter than San Pablo river (ICW) because the current is high flowing when tide comes in or out.
Today I caught two keeper reds. I live here too. It's a very very good spot. It's secluded, almost never anyone fishing so that means no fishing pressure for the fish to avoid the area. This is where they breed too... When water is warmer I always get a bucket full of crabs and few keeper fish.
I’ve never caught anything other than Eel and Ray out there. Have seen some folks catch some small red on the grass and mud flats near the launch. That place is overfished pretty badly
I have fished Oak Harbour and Dutton Island more than anwhere else, mainly because its less than 5mi from my house. I never do great. I think they are a couple of your least favorite places your videos... what's your favorite place to fish?
Oh wow! So it’s not just me? Lol I def prefer anywhere off heckscher 100%. But I always hear of people killing it in/around the ICW north of Atlantic so🤷♂️
Hi, I just subsribed to ur channel and was inquiring about the water shoes you are using, what is brand and model? Also what set up do you use? Is it a 3000 reel? Thank you.
Hey, thanks the support! I just bought those shoes off Amazon. a.co/d/c1TynmG As far as my main setup for inshore creek fishing: 7.6’ st croix rod, 2500 shimano stradic reel, spooled with 12lb braid, 4ft of 12lb flouro leader, 3/16 eyestrike trouteye jighead. Tight lines!
I mean all of Jax is overfished and any spot can be hit or miss on any given day. Maybe try Nassau sound bridge or Guana dam. Seems like lots of people catch good fish out in those spots. Just all depends on weather, tide, moon phase, etc. Good luck!
Thank you! I usually throw 3/16oz all day. But if it’s really windy or if I’m fishing deeper faster moving water, then I’ll go 1/4oz. Never more than that.
Watching you prepare and cook that snapper was the highlight of the video! I'm going to try and copy that! Always enjoy your videos.
Really appreciate it! Make sure you add more seasoning if you don’t have a sauce on the side. Or I can tell you where to get the “Ma Der” sauce lol

@@VISUAL-LY I'll just probably watch you guys and take notes ☺️
@@junb7786 🤣Whatever dude! Prob outfish us all! Hiding the skills!
Thanks for another great video! I liked the catch n cook style and I also really appreciated the map of targeted spots and your explanation of how/why you target those spots.
Glad you enjoyed it! I have to remember to continue to be more informative. Even though nothing really worked this trip lol😅
I love it inshore in the intercoastal when the bite is good. But if that breeze isnt steady those sand gnats will show you who is boss lol.
Definitely wasn’t good that day lol. And I guess too hot for the gnats to be out. At least I got lucky with that😅
Can’t wait to see this vid
👊👊
Great video bro, loved the preprare/cooking part, looked delicious!
Really appreciate it brother! Trying more catch & cooks lol
Awesome video! Especially enjoyed the catch and cook!🔥- Kenny & Daniel

Hell yeah! Now occasionally throw something different on that jighead and build confidence with other artificials!💪
@@VISUAL-LY tried slayer inc paddle tail, didn’t have any luck though. It was also with a different jig
Really can’t go wrong with the trout eye/swimming mullet combo🔥
@@VISUAL-LY been going out almost every day, finally got a nice red on the slayer with the trout eye
@@sebastianrothman6256 heck yeah dude! My favorite slayer color is Baby Bass. Give that one a try!
Nice vid as usual! I gotta hand it to you being out there in the middle of this heat 💪🏻
Thanks you!👊 But man, it was brutal. Especially loading the kayak back onto the truck😓 I see why the OGs don’t fish much through the summer.
Too hot out there right now. Bites are extra slow. Trying the beaches myself
Several people have mentioned the same. Maybe I’ll try again in the winter. Good luck at the beaches!🤙
I tried Dutton 2 or 3 times with live bait and artificial and haven’t had any luck.
Glad it just isn’t me lol. Just not lots of water depth variation out there. Primarily shallow and extremely soft mud. I like lots of shells and areas with different water depths🙌
I think it's too hot for the shallows. Maybe in the morning the bite would be better in that area.
Pretty sure you're 100% correct. Couldn't find a deep spot in the whole area, and I started at high tide🤦♂
Dutton Island is one of the only places ive gotten lucky with good fish.
You're a better fisherman than me then lol!💪
Terrible time of year and time of day to hit Dutton. In the summer if you’re not there at dawn, don’t even bother. Many slams from Dutton, you just have to hit it at the right time.
That makes sense! Lots of people I know don’t even fish during the summer
Nice video!!!
Thanks Bear!!🤩

😂😂I’d rather fish somewhere off heckscher any day of the week tbh lol. Good luck out there!

any good shore fishing besides jax pier

The best spot for any fish in Jax is north beach in my opinion, always catch crazy fish 🔥
Hey Nice video! How heavy do you usually go on jighead for these kind of places. Thanks
