Ingrid Michaelson on writing songs for ‘The Notebook The Musical’

Singer-songwriter Ingrid Michaelson opens up to Hoda Kotb and Jenna Bush Hager about writing songs for “The Notebook The Musical" on Broadway and how the loss of her parents inspired much of the music. “I realized recently how much of my grief I processed through writing these songs over the last seven years,” she says. "It does keep my parents with me in this very special way."
