- We took the Vande Bharat Express ( Train 18 ) from Chennai to Bangalore to visit family. We have taken trains in India before. We even made a video about our trip in Shatabdi Express. But we have never taken the Vande Bharat Express before. So we decided to try it when we were in Chennai. It is currently the fastest train in India and also the latest and most modern. We were surprised by the quality of the train but Summer had problems.

You could have asked for coffee instead of tea. They will change it without any cost. You could have also asked the staff about medicine for nausea. These train have emergency medicine onboard
Uh I didn’t know they have nausea medicine!! That’s awesome!! I would have totally needed that. I think coffee might have made it even worse coz I haven’t had that I like a loooong time! But you mean because of the spices in the tea right? Yeah just not a good idea on empty stomach 😂

Yes, track needs to be upgraded. The train cannot reach capable speed of 180 kmph with the existing tracks. They will upgrade the tracks. Indian Railways is a massive system.

@@AshandSummer This electric multiple unit is capable of 180kmph, rated commercial speed is 160kmph. But this particular train runs at a top speed of a mere 110kmph due to track restrictions, average speed is 75kmph. This is not the fastest train. Fastest vande bharat is New Delhi Varanasi Vande Bharat, top speed 130kmph, average speed 95kmph. And fastest train by maximum operating speed is Gatiman Express, top speed 160kmph, average speed 91kmph.

You don't criticise the vibration until Modji came on power India did not have a good coach in our trains. Congress ruling time more than half century we were travelling in junk trains. At least in 10 years central government made this possible. Appreciate it instead of finding fault. India is capable to much more advanced trains in comming years. How foolish to say we have to follow what Westerners doind in their country. We have food for our tradition.

@@AshandSummer Pehle bakiki trains joh actually desh ka jyada passenger traffic carry karti hai woh toh jyada ho jaye. These vande bharats are a mere showoff doesnt actually solve the problem. Tickets fares are bit too much. Adds in to the already uncontrolled inflation.

Hot milk on cereal makes the cereal soggy/soft. Cereal with cold milk works better as the cereal remains crunchy.

Just take a motion sickness tablet (Avomine or similar tablet having same salt) 30 minute before travelling.. And you are good to go around 16-20 hours. Only downside is that you will feel dizzy.

Believe me , I use to drink tea till recently for almost 30 years or so, I stopped tea and coffee and started using cumin seeds , turmeric, lemon and honey to make tea. Initially I got headache after stopping tea, but now I feel better and this new tea is much much better its refreshing and non addictive.

Vande Bharat is the newest train category in India, but not the fastest at present. That honour goes to Gatimaan Express

@@davelawson2564 Yes, because of the track safety issues. Indian Railways is working on revamp of tracks to run trains at 180 and 200 kmph speeds. A couple of years from now, that will happen.

It is not the fastest train of India. It is Delhi to Jhansi Gatimaan Express and Mumbai to Goa Tejas Express. Both have top operating speed of 160km/hr. Chennai - Bangalore Vande Bharat is capable of 180km/hr, but run at top operating speed of only 110km/hr.
Bro, Vande Bharat is designed for 200+ kmph and tested succussfully for 180 kmph coz we dont have tracks supporting 200+ mph speed. So, I guess Vande Bharat wins. Btw nowadays many trauns are running on 130 kmph (top speed). 😊

Right now tracks and level crossings are bottlenecks. All over India, level crossings are getting phased out and flyovers are being constructed, tracks are also getting upgraded. Once those are completed the noise and shakiness will be reduced and speed will be increased.

Just a fact - Vande Bharat has the highest speed capability but Gatimaan Express is the fastest operational train in India operating at 160kmph. Try it out

vandebharat version 3.0 will have lots of improvements with respect to speed,safety and comfortability . By june 2023 the prototype train will be ready then train shaking issue will be resolved at 200 KMPH speed.

I travel so many time in train in India because my work is like this so I travel India rajdhani train ashram train vande Bharat train Tejas train so you have a good life inside the train and you can enjoy the train but you need to know about the train because some of the train are still old so you must be right in the first class or 2ac make you comfortable and enjoy

Rajdhani train is too old around 1998 to start in Ahmedabad to Delhi all ac coach I love to seat 🪑 in first class it's only take 13 hours to Ahmedabad to Delhi

First all contemporary Indian trains are slow(but have a very high carrying capacity due to the Indian broad gauge) by international standards and none of them run faster than 160kmph.
Second, India's fastest train is the Gatiman express not the Vande Bharat although VB's do have the capability to run at 180-200 kmph but currently they run at around 130 kmph on average.
