This song takes me back to being a teen, Disturbia was seriously and still is one of my favorite movies, this song is my time machine🤍
The movie gives me so much good vibes watching it and the music in the movie as well. I always wished to have a cool friend like ronnie lol and having a big ass room like kales and having access to see his whole neighborhood. I love the movie and I watched it like 2 times today😂this movie is one of a kid and will always be my favorite movie and is so underrated. Like seriously it’s just a movie but I’ve never felt so good watching this movie over n over
One of the few , and I mean count on one hand few , films that were better than the original , great film
I watched it last night, sooo good. Love this song
Same here literally, was always obsessed with his room in this movie and loved the neighborhood vibe and Xbox and being a young teen unreal vibe
@@doedyboy5593 ahh yes, the good vibes.
Is this the movie where the guy is a creeper and the chick is into it?
Disturbia anyone else? Love it so much.
Watching Disturbia right now on TNT.
Just watched on TNT :)
nice man res7itzt sick song and movie.
SAME! heydudedolfan13
Such a great movie! My DVD skips :( I need to get a new copy
Reminds me of being a teenager. picking her up in your moms car. going to the movies. just being young and dumb. a good time before life happens and you're depressed. disturbia is a great film
Scott Klingensmith I never got to have that. I never to to have a childhood or teenage adolescence. I'm 20 and feel like I missed so much.
Same feeling
@@firstname3255 same man. I always felt like I was out of place, never truly connecting with anyone, and when I tried to, it almost always ended up not good. For a very long time I haven't really enjoyed anything. I too am 20 now (21 next month) and realise that I'm still young and can experience anything I want and I want to be silly and just live in a moment, like many people of my age around me, while I still can afford it, but for some reason something's holding me back.
@@firstname3255 Its not too late.
@@denissmith7671 I dont know you but what you are describing sounds like depression...
And if it is just know there are options. You deserve to have an awesome life, where you feel a sense of connection and purpose.
I HIGHLY SUGGEST watching Johan Haris TedTalk about depression. He traveled all over the world to talk to people and figure out what exactly depression is and why some people experience it while others dont and what truly causes it.
I wish you the best. At the very least the life you want and deserve .
Guster is so under rated.
Even though this was seven years ago, I completely agree. Part of me hopes no one else finds it because when it gets popular, it sometimes gets out of hand.
@@VioletJinx imagine this guys life, he probably has kids
@@herkadoo5519 LMAO PROBABLY THOUGH
Just posted a way too long opinion echoing that in the comments a minute ago. 🤷♂️
Vastly underrated.
Is it weird that this song inspires nostalgia in me instead of sadness? Don't get me wrong, I completely understand what's so depressing about it, but when I listen to it, I think back to listening to this album in the car on my trip to Colorado in '08, aged 15 (though I heard it long before that, even before Disturbia was released. Hipster much?). It was during that time that I felt the most carefree and happy, even if my idea of happiness at the time revolved around other people.
Even though I didn't hear it until i was probably 18, it gives me nostalgia about events i've never even lived if that makes sense? idk the overall feeling the song gives me is nostalgia in a good way.
I think that nostalgia was intended by Guster. I can imagine someone building a time machine because they are not satisfied with being an adult, had introspective reflection and wanted to re-live the past. The instrumentals send so many clashing vibes (depressive and hopeful) that they sync well with what was (missed events) and what is now (not missing those opportunities), having gone back in time.
When I was about 11 I heard this song on my dad's Spotify playlist. I fell in love with it. Listening to this song again after all that time gave me nostalgia about sitting in the car on the way to Vegas at 10pm, listening to this song.
I'm like that with a lot of music from that time frame even some of the stuff I wasn't listening to at the time in nostalgic now because it was always on the radio it doesn't even matter what the songs about it just takes me back to a very different time
Yep
It’s definitely Nostalgia it inspires. If you think about, it’s one of the main themes in Disturbia. We’ve all had dreams when we were teenagers and we’re all disappointed to a certain extent to where we’ve gotten to in our 30s. For most, this is when reality hits you. It’s the time you realise you’re screwing up cause you’re not care free anymore. The end of the song is depressing on purpose, I think. But this is to inspire the audience to change the direction their lives is taking. It’s never too late to get back to our “adolescent dreams”.
Guster is one of the best bands in 90's. I just want to say NO ONE BROUGHT ME HERE but my pure LOVE OF GUSTER MUSIC.
It took me 10 years to find this song. My older sister had it on her shuffle the one that didn’t have a screen an I was never able to know the artist. The nostalgia in this song runs heavy such a beautiful song 🎶🙌🏻
This is such a perfect song about where you got stuck in life... I think it is just encouraging you to accept it, admit it, do what you can to fix it, and make efforts to move on:)
This ❤️
Disturbia with this awesome soundtrack 👌
i tried to play this song on my laptop back in 2011. I tried a lot but we didn't have internet. Now I'm living my adolescent dreams. Listening to this song on my laptop on wifi. I am a one man wrecking machine. It might not sound like much but it matters so much to me.
AMENNNN
@@josephtalamantes2015 if you like this song, you’ll like Jamison Faulkner - Way Back When
Small details matter because you look back and be grateful things changed, and now things are better.
I remember being 12 years old really thinking about a future where i would listen to this song and reminisce high school days and now im 25 and um yeah here i am
Been listening to this song for years. As I teenager i understood it one way. As I got older...it has a whole new meaning
Disturbia came with me in good and bad times :) miss that movie so much its so good.Like if you ever see this it doesnt matter if its 2030
God ... all these words hit the nail on the head ... makes me think way too much
LONG LIVE THE MUSIC OF THE 2000'S!
🎆🎆🎇🌠🎇🎆🎆✊😎😭
Where's a time machine when we need one?🕓🚀🕣🤔
I built a time machine
I'm going to see the homecoming queen
Take her to the Christmas dance
Maybe not get in her pants
Whatever
Back with my high school friends
Meeting where the train tracks end
Passing round a skinny joint
Rolling up to Lookout Point
I want to pull it apart and put it back together
I want to relive all my adolescent dreams
Inspired by true events on movie screens
I am a one man wrecking machine
Back in my parents' house
Back to the shouting out loud
One day you'll be a man
One day you'll understand
I want to pull it apart and put it back together
I want to relive all my adolescent dreams
Inspired by true events on movie screens
I am a one man wrecking machine
Inspired by true events on movie screens
I am a one man wrecking machine
Here in the present tense
Nothing is making sense
Waiting for my moment to come
Everything has come undone
I tried to pull it apart and put it back together
No point in living in my adolescent dreams
Inspired by true events on movie screens
I am a one man wrecking machine
Inspired by true events on movie screens
I am a one man wrecking machine

Man......the nostalgia.
Disturbia popped in my head the first 10 seconds of this song lol. Awesome movie! 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥👀💯
this song is so good to listen to while you're high, really makes you think about life.
INDEED MY MAN
Agreed.
7 years late but high af rn
Drove by the house Disturbia was filmed at in Whittier listening to this. Good afternoon
Reminds me of 2010 - 2011, sitting on my buddies porch, smoking a joint, talking about nothing, excited for what our lives would become. Who knew it would all be this disappointing.
One of those feel good songs... ya know?
AGREED!
very nostalgic
oh yes...
This would be neat for the last part of a graduation slideshow
TJay Da TrUth I do know!
I listened to this when i was in high school/ middle school, and i knew that in the present day as of now i would feel nostalgic as fuck listening to it again. i was right
A perfect timeless song
Disturbia brought me here , anyone else ?
YEEESS!! I’ve been looking for this song for like 6 years, I used to listen to it all the time!
Whatever brought you to this song should be a life credit
THis song reminds me of late summer nights of 2005/2006. Staying out late getting drunk, smoking weed, and doing drugs all night till the early morning sunrise, with my friends and good people that we all used to go to Highsvhool together now.. Now we're all growed up seems like Bills, Car Payments, lotta my friends now have wives and kids... Where the fuck did the time go?
In the the beginning he wants relive his adolescent dreams , in the last verse he says no point in reliving your adolescent dreams. Nice 👍 metamorphosis i can relate.
Just watched disturbia again and it brought me here
Disturbia✔️📹"Soon To be the most popular video on RUclips"😉💏🖕
This song is just so Majestic and with Nostalgia 😌. It always makes me think emotionally about love with someone very close to you in the past, now and in the future etc... Love hurts so good 😎💘🧠🌴
They plaid this when I worked at Bath and Bodyworks 18 years ago. It was on a 4 hour loop. Reminds me of my 20s.

I forgot about this song. Adore it :)!!
Sometimes it's hard to tell if I tear up at so many Guster songs because of the memories, or because the band is just that impressive. Maybe both :)

I fucking love this type of song , Indie Rock...Disturbia brought me here tho
Guster? Indie rock? Cool story bro, too bad there's nothing indie rock about Guster.
ProjectDv2 then what is it
Cecilia Mendes They went mainstream way back in the 90s. They've been signed to major record labels like Reprise, Colombia Records, and Warner Brothers. They're not indie, they're old-school alternative rock, same as they've been for over twenty years.
So good movie. I don't know why I loved so much atmosphere there
Good sound for a good movie
Thanks to Shia lebouf I found this band through the Movie Disturbia its 2022
Vim pelo filme, tinha visto faz tempo mais assisti de novo hj e essa música traz boas lembranças assim como o filme.

I don't care who you are I think if anybody could go back in time and make different choices they would.
I went to a Guster concert a couple years back, and I waited the entire show for them to play this song, and they never played it 😢
I see Guster play every year in Portland Maine, and it's always on their set list. It might of been a two day event and you might of missed it the dY you went. I'm sorry for your loss
Anyone know the name of the song in Disturbia when Ashley enters Kale's house for the first time after she has done swimming?
Esta canción la escuché en la película Paranoia, dónde actúa Shia Labeouf, buena película, buena canción 👍🏽!!!
Saludos 🇵🇪✓
siii Disturbia
Thanks Drew Monson.
best part of Disturbia has to be the unrealistic relationship between Kale and Ashley. it’s an unwritten fantasy of most people to have a hot neighbour move in next to them. that said my neighbour is hot but she has a boyfriend lol
harika
theme song for my life from this point forward.
disturbia brought me here
después de casi 10 años por fin encontré la canción del final de paranoia
que sad me siento, tantos recuerdos, cuanto tiempo ha pasado :(
Disturbia in Quarantine is soo good
