Okay can we acknowledge how badass the Gorgon is at 09:12? It straight up just walked through an entire unit of fleeing Dreadspears. Not attacking just refusing to move an inch for the fleeing enemy and sending them flying with each hoofed step
Yeah, the Blades were a weird pick, you have a dragon that can basically delete three bestirgors with just his morning breath, meanwhile for big guys he had one melee and a dragon
The missiles do not count since he did not bring enough troops who could actually protect them
Some more tough anti-large would have been nice or even a few chariots would have helped
I was imagining how much a second black guard would’ve helped in that last battle
I haven't seen Beastmen win a land battle in a very long while. That was beautiful. Probably a match of the year contender.

@@Erligan Could have been a similar addition like the dwarfs getting giant slayers when they got their rework a few years back. The beast men race as a whole is a blast to play. But seeing all 4 chaos gods depicted by both daemons and mortals is a tad disappointing to not see them on the 3rd chaos faction. Norsca excluded of course. Considering a mod exists that adds them just proves how simple the addition would be.

I noticed in Multiplayer that Legions of Chaos have SIX Daemon Princes; Bel'akor, The Undivided guy, and one dedicated to each Chaos God. You should do a four way battle with the monogod Princes for generals, if you ever have the time...
beastmen are always a joy to watch. Just swimming through the blood of infantry like its nothing.

Taurox and all the beastmen are undivided, worshipping all 4 Gods. However that does not mean they are not blessed by one or all. Taurox is blessed by all four his dark masters. Also always happy to the Chad bull pull off the win, Taurox is such an amazing Lord.

I feel like when the DE dude sent his blades of the blood queen away from the blob with Malekith in with the bloodgorgon and Taurox was a mistake. Had he put them in, he probably would have had more incentive to pull back rather than try to pull through
I don't think there was much incentive at all to pull through to begin with with those centigors around. Just one of these blunders that throw away a game that should've been an easy win but these things happen.

The blood brute behemoth has some graphical errors on his armor it’s like glitching out and it’s present in all models of the blood brute behemoth
Edit: The error is in the armor of the legs
They should add beastment worshipping Tzeentch and other Gods like Tzangors. It would help both Chaos Demon lineup also Beastmen aswell because why not just like WoC DLC.

I don't have the beastmen DLC but this got me interested in them - how do they play on the campaign? Are they fun? Fast or slow? No idea what their playstyle actually is, i only encounter them as annoying hordes on my campaigns :)
Taurox is very fast paced and all about momentum, similar to Khorne. really he was used as a dry run for Khorne's campaign mechanics in wh3 I believe. yeah they are fun after their rework, but were widely considered op after Silence and Fury. even CA admitted they prolly made them too strong and easy
Beastmen in campaigns are good at ambushing and they have a way to prevent recolonizing in regions they destroy.

You say it's very similar to Khorne, which i obviously do have :P - However, i must be doing something very wrong since i started two IE campaigns and got extremely broke very fast. I get that you have to keep pushing with the bloodhosts and your main army, but still my main army was tiny and i had no money to sustain it at all. Is there some major point i am missing?
@@SlickMajestic Guess it all depends on what you consider "new". I've loved TW games since Shogun 2 (which remains my most favourite game of the franchise ever). I have played different installments of TW games for different amounts of time, both online and on pirated versions... But i am not on a "thousands of hours" level either :)
Anyway, i am back to my Dawi, now on Grombrindal instead of the main king, i am a sucker for dwarves in all games so i really enjoy their armies. The IE version of Grom is fucking hardcore tho, you are completely surrounded by Tomb Kings, Dark Elves and Valkya, it's hell. Still, dwarves rock! :D
I might buy the wood elves or zombie pirates later, both factions look very themed and nice.

I understand why beastmen went for the dark elve's missiles but I have yet to find out why dark elves went for the beastmen's missiles?!
I mean I still can not understand why the dark elf player committed so much mobility and his lord to just get some crappy chaff missile and in the meanwhile, the beastmen death squad destroyed his entire left wing plus his missiles
The moment that I saw he sent Malekith after the ungor raiders and didn't pay attention to the gap and the distance between malekith and his entire force i knew that this will going to be a blood bath for the druki
It bothers me that a dragon taking off is blocked by horse sized creatures. I know it's a game mechanic to stop cheese, but narratively I think it's silly that he's prevented from taking off.
it actually didnt have too much issue pushing through them. the problem is that he was being attacked, and being attacked resets the cooldown on flight, preventing takeoff. thats a good mechanic imo
Nah, it's fine the way it is. Humans trip over small things all the time and even get seriously hurt by it. When's the last time you hit your toe on a cupboard's edge?

Really don't understand the Blades of the Blood Queen pick. You have more than enough (very good) chaff to win the infantry fight, I guess the DE player expected a Bestigor rush? Really weird either way.
GW needs to calm down about chaos. It's like Matt Ward is a chaos fan now. Wheres the chaos dwarves, hobgoblins, Ind, Southland pygmies, Khuresh, Amazon's? Chaos isn't even a major seller with games.

Hey Indy, love the videos, you basically brought me into Warhammer 3 and the reason why i play it so what. I will however say, and please don't take it too harshly, i feel like you have lost a little off your cheesiness, all the silly jokes and "fun" way of commentating the battle. These battles seems more, dare i say, professional viewed?
If that is on purpose, all good, just wanted to point out my opinion, and this is just that, my opinion, that i loved the old style more. Anyways, love the content nonetheless!

Now that you say it i notice it too. "penetrating more models than dicaprio on a weekend" has become a bit of a meme but those stupid comments are part of why I love Indy so much.

When i first stumbled upon his channel, a few months back, i could watch all of the Warhammer 2 videos cause they were filled with these types of comments and they were brilliant yet classy yet cheesy and funny, all the same. Felt like they have become a rare sight lately, which very well could be on purpose, just wanted to point out what i noticed.
I talked about Gen Z Beastmen munching on booties this very video lol. Dont know what to say, dont feel like my commentary style has changed much, if at all. Not saying you're wrong, but i havent noticed it

Does khorne say in his doctrine that he hates wizard/psykers? I thought he just hated it when people borrow power to cheat in fights. I don't see why he'd hate summoning magic, or buff magic. Like a wizard that is a beast in melee even without magic is probably okee dokee.
Yes, Khorne hates all magic users. It's cowardly conduct.
And no, to Khorne any magic wielder is one to many, no matter what kind of magic they use and for what purpose.
That's why we got a cultist that "prays" for a unit of Bloodletters to be send to the mortal plain rather than they be truly summoned.
DE did not bring a beastmaster vs the beastmen. Loss deserved.
