    I bought the budget tracker from The Line last year and I love it! I just came across this channel so looking forward to seeing your content.

    Wow your corporate job is great. Excited for your running haul! I was so sad last year because I went to Vancouver when it was overcast from the wildfires. I wanted to go to Victoria but didn’t know how without a car

      It is! I feel so grateful because they offer a ton of benefits 🤍 I’m sorry it was overcast, I definitely think it’s worth coming back in May-July with a side trip to Victoria! It’s beautiful in the summer here 🌞

      I live in Victoria and it is so beautiful in the summer (it's beautiful all year long) Next time you're in Vancouver, the easiest (and fastest) way to Victoria is by harbour air float plane. You're here in 30 minutes harbour to harbour and sometimes you can get a really great price on the flights. It's a walkable city so you won't need Ubers or transport unless you want to head to Butchart Gardens.

    Great video as always 😊Your corporate job sounds awesome!
    Victoria is absolutely lovely in the summer. I grew up there so happy to share any recommendations if you want.

    Welcome to the running club! It's highly addicting. I run with the Brooks Ghost and I pay $215 all in for them so if you got shoes for $117 you got an amazing deal! I'd love to see a running haul video. (a can talk running for hours!) LOL

      I got the Saucony Endorphin 3s! I think they recently came out with the 4s so they made the 3s half off 😌

    Love these videos, Raisa. How do you keep track each day, so how do you update the figures for each column and keep track? I have started this this month to try and stick to budget or even just see where my money is going!

    • @raisamartin
      @raisamartin  2 месяца назад +1

      I usually have the tracker open or saved in my bookmarks for easy access, pull up my CC account and start inputting in the expense log. I do it at least once a week if not more so they don’t pile up. It helps me stay mindful of my spending throughout the month! It also forces me to look at my CC throughout the month. That’s the best way to start, just start to see where you are spending, then maybe next month determine if you’re happy with that or if you want to cut down on any categories. Take it slow but be consistent and next thing you know you’ll start achieving your goals! 🤍

    Not sure if you’re already aware of this but if you keep a minimum balance in your TD chequing account, the monthly fee can be waived :)

    • @raisamartin
      @raisamartin  2 месяца назад

      Do you know what the minimum balance is? I thought it was something insanely high :(

    • @mxinwei
      @mxinwei 2 месяца назад +1

      @@raisamartin If you have their all-inclusive chequing (the one that covers credit card fees each year) it’s $5000.

    • @prettyphung

      @@raisamartinwhat @mxinwei said below! I usually put part of my emergency fund in there to keep the minimum balance. However, I remember in your past videos you keep your emergency fund with wealthsimple because you earn interest so I would do the math to see if it’s worth paying TD service fee versus the interest you accumulate from wealthsimple :)
