If your wheel is corroded you can wet a Brillo don't know the equivalent in America but I hold it on the wheel head and rinse it off and then go again until it becomes shiny again my wheel is twenty years old and is still smooth also a smooth sand paper wet does it. Well hope this is helpfull

Always great to watch you throw Jess! How big was this cut when done being thrown? I never know if I am leaving too much clay in walls.
