Punjab is not whole of Pakistan my brother! This type of chicken is not made in any other part of Pakistan other than Punjab. And yes, in Punjab in most of the households this type of chicken is made even in the Indian Punjab. So to correct this is a Pakistani chicken that’s mostly made in the Punjab region!

The color of d cream wil be white... The malai which she mentiond is d one which we have at home from the milk after boiling it... Or even d malai wich is fresh one's which we get in d milk or ghee shops... The color will be pale cream... But wen you add the homemade malai it tastes different..... Food has amazing history. Its astonishing how it becomes part of one’s identity instantly. Wether it was colonialism or independence, food evolves as national identity evolves. So i have an humble observation and indian friends would agree too. Pakistani gravies have less set of spices and more bhunai and indian gravies are full of all kind of spices, for instance garam masala is used in almost every gravy. In pakistan gravy has many many variations. It has more influence of afghani, irani, turkish taste hence the combination of less spices exist. But then again we have dishes close in taste to India in punjab and some main parts of Sindh. Baltistan has altogether different taste palette having some hints of Cantonese food. Kpk and Balochistan’s food is too scrumptious they use even less spices to make such gravies. I have had jndian food for past two years and i am a big fan of your chutniees. Even green chutny we make in pakistan is completely different in taste than what is made in India. In the end food is an authentic story teller 🙌

The moment you added kasoori meethi, it instantly became and Indian dish. Pakistanis dont add that sorta heaped spoon of garam masala in anything- its barely a pinch that we sprinkle, that too after its cooked and dished out. Nor do we add cream and butter. And we definitely dont cook onions with or after adding chicken. Rule of thumb for onions is to be cooked before the protein. Sorry, but there is nothing Pakistani in this dish, although seems mouthwatering ! Happy Cooking 😊

It turned out amazing.
My family just loved it (I am 15 and this is my first type of makinf chicken)❤❤
The moment you added kasoori meethi, it instantly became and Indian dish.
Pakistanis dont add that sorta heaped spoon of garam masala in anything- its barely a pinch that we sprinkle, that too after its cooked and dished out.
Nor do we add cream and butter.
And we definitely dont cook onions with or after adding chicken. Rule of thumb for onions is to be cooked before the protein.
Sorry, but there is nothing Pakistani in this dish, although seems mouthwatering !
