      Thank you so much, because people like complain :) People think it is my job to teach. 100ds of questions even never watched video , what hook what yarn every day I receive questions, I do not replay anymore. :) It is not my job, I have hobby and I share with people what I made. At the moment I stopped make videos, fighting with copy makers. I create patterns myself counting stitches how many need for size etc this all takes time, but other channels just copy my patterns and list like own in arabic language. So tired of this as well . I think I rest until September :) Thank you Linda for your support and nice to hear this world still have nice people like you are.

      Thank you, yes you can just use smaller crochet hook, 4.5mm or even 4.00 this need to see how tight you crochet, Make hat crown and see if you have 6"- 6.5" (maximum for this pattern) approx hat crown then all ok, if too small need bigger hook, if too big smaller hook. with worsted weight yarn and 5mm hook hat will be too big.

      Hello, Thank you for watching and making etc. I have Etsy shop. but I do not have there patterns :) You can see last 4 months I do not list often New videos because I working and no much time for make videos and less times to make writing patterns. I do not have writing patterns because I create patterns myself. I write by pen just small notes. Make a hat crown 6" then FPdc and BPdc until fit 7" approx. :) it is my patterns. For me to make video takes very long time, create pattern I need try first, them make video, then upload and start watch again and then I stop video each stitch I write on the screen. Maybe in September will be more time for my hobby.
      Also all my patterns I making if Nr before stitch 6dc (means 6 times in the same stitch if Nr after stitch dc 6 means single dc in next 6 sts. Very old Etsy patterns I do not remember I think was the same. Only 2 patterns New I made. Also my English no good enough for make patterns for sale :( this why I do not do. No idea where need a, the or of :) But if you have any questions just ask, I have time to help if something not clear.

It is up to the video, how much I talk. I am glad you asked me to do it. More people will be happy. To create patterns and record it is the smallest job. Biggest job and lots of time take edit videos. I also write on the screen stitches and then I have to write subtitles. People who do not work I mean other video makers for them may be easier if they have lots of free time.
      If you need you can ask for more subtitles for other videos, I just can't promise I can do straight away.

    Hi. Love your channel. If I want to make this with thinner yarn (Scheepjes merino soft) then it is curling when I am on row 5-6. A lot. Do I need to make the first rows more times ? It is for a man. Thank you !!!

    • @HappyCrochetClub
      @HappyCrochetClub  Год назад +1

      Hi, Scheep merino soft also DK yarn the same 100g ball 300m or you have something different. Without trying I do not know how many stitches will be if you will make more rounds. If one round more possible pattern will be wrong. I mean Front Post Back Post stitches when you start make hat after hat crown.

      100 gr = 210 m. It is just so wavy on row 5-6. Yours is nice and flat. Wondering if I have too many start stitches or will the waviness even out ?

    • @HappyCrochetClub
      @HappyCrochetClub  Год назад +1

      @@kellyj. Your yarn is thicker and it is good will be a bigger hat. I think it is not a problem if wavy, thicker yarn needs more space around. When you will start part after the hat crown all will be fine.

    If we use 2 strands, is the stitch count the same?

    • @HappyCrochetClub
      @HappyCrochetClub  5 лет назад +1

      No!!! If 2 strands of DK or #3 weight yarn , stitches will be less, otherwise hat will be too big if the same stitches, You can make 1 round less hat crown 60 sts but you have to use 6mm crochet hook then hat crown will be correct size and hat will be more soft.
      Also I have video for 2 strands of yarn the same hat.
      ruclips.net/video/9tJtWt1elI0/видео.html
      or you can use this pink hat video just like I said 6mm hook and hat crown should be 6" diameter, then when you start crochet up hat - size will be correct.

      @@HappyCrochetClub perfect! Thank you for the quick reply. I didn't see the 2 strand adult size video. That is the one I will use. My daughter saw the newborn one I made, and fell in love with it. Thank you so much!

      this other video I see I crocheting very tight. Maybe too big for you 6mm crochet hook, if you crochet loosely. If you have 5.5mm crochet hook maybe better for you . You have to try different hooks until you have 6" hat crown.

      @@rosannabalistreri7531 You are very welcome! If more questions in process just ask. Yes hard to see other videos, but I made playlists by sizes, then more easy no need look all videos. Just take hats for example and then see only adult hats, if baby 0-3 months there will be only hats for baby 0-3 months etc. but I am also happy to send links if people ask. :)

      :) I can not make 1 h and more long videos , people do not like, I wrote all stitches on the screen you can stop video any time and read from screen what need to do also you can go settings right corner and change video speed how slow you like but normally people watch and stop video I also do the same if I watching other people videos. Lots of things we do behind video when I say continue. We can not do real time, then you need sit and watch 3 h or more. So sorry. but really many ways how to slow down. This video is not very fast :) If you do not understand something just ask I am always happy to help. Find settings and set up your speed what you like. Thank you for making hat.

      Hello, I no need slow down :) , people do not like long videos, plus you no need do the same time when how I do, you can stop video still all stitches can see on the video screen, all stitches I wrote there + you can change video speed on settings. If you watching from smartphone press 3 dots and change video how slow or fast you like.

    • @canadian4oodie115

      You can slow down the speed of the video by clicking on the three dots on the top right. I think the speed of this video is already very good compared to many other confusing videos. And writing out the pattern and telling us how many stitches we ought to have at the end of each row really really helped
