My wife received a 221g . Because we did not have a certified divorce certificate. I went in picked up a certified signed divorce certificate. In got it to them withen 2 weeks. The took her passport. It has been almost 60 days. We have not received any word yet. How long does it take. To get a approval.

We got this due to spouse needing COVID booster. Medical was scheduled day before interview and the panel doctors could not administer due to regulations in Italy and as residents from Malta we were not able to get it from the government run health centers. Very upsetting. Now we are in AP

My husband had his interview and physical exam. In his interview they gave him a paper to send his passport after his physical exam he sent his passport and a day after of sending it we got an email from the embassy of a 221g saying they want his passport which he had sent a day before that email, after sending his passport it has been 2 months and we finally have a change in the status from refused to Ready .What does it mean? He already had an interview and physical exam is he being scheduled for a 2nd interview ?or is this their way of saying visa will be issued ?
Nothing of all of what you mentioned was a reason to give my fiancée k1 visa application a 221(g). The interview was perfect! All the required paperwork was provided to IV unit. The consular was totally satisfied and said congratulations and took my fiancée's passport and said that she will receive the visa on passport within 3-5 days. Then, after 3 days, we received an email asking to fill out DS-5535. We filled it out right away. Then, we got this 221(g) with only Administrative Processing required! And they returned back the passport. The main reason was that we are Muslims. I hired an attorney to file a Mandamus Lawsuit against all the feds responsible on all immigration process to get a court order against this sort of discrimination against us. And this is the only solution that we have and it costs us an extra $4500!!!
For sure the embassy didn't give us a clear reason and just kept saying the administrative processing that they pretend that they don't have control over it, but the Muslim religion and/or the country comes from (Iraq), is the reason to get this ridiculous thing!

@Nawid Faiz No! They didn't require any extra documents and they don't use this term of background check. They just refused under 221(g) administrative processing. No definite timeline for them to decide when it will be completed.

Hello I went to interview on 14 April and officer took my passport and said visa approved and gave me green paper to track passport. On the next day i checked visa status and it was refused. @zainabk don't worry, it will be approved. Most applications got approved after 221g. In my case, it took 4 weeks visa category was visitor.

The fkin consular officer refused to even look at our evidence. These guys need to be sued.
Agree! They should look at documents as well, instead of solely judge based off the interview.

Hi, thanks a lot for your awesome videos, I have a question and I would be grateful if you could provide me with your advice, actually last week my F1 Visa application was sent for administrative processing, and they have asked me for submitting some documents including my offer letter, the letter which shows my funding source,
Actually I have been admitted to a fully funded PhD program through offering RA, but because of not meeting minimum language score requirements needed for TA, I wasn't eligible for TA, and this is mentioned in my offer letter, in my offer letter they said I am not eligible to be TA until I submit sufficient language score,
Do you think this issue could have a bad effect on my application? What can I do to resolve it?Thank you for your time and assistance 🌺🌺
Simple: just get a higher score if time allows it.

Hi have a question my fiance got a email saying that the administrative process is complete and to continue wirh the visa to take another physical exam because it was expired so she did and send it in 2 weeks ago now this week on there website the date changed 3 times but it still says refused please help

I went to interview on 14 April and officer took my passport and said visa approved and gave me green paper to track passport. On the next day i checked visa status and it was refused. I after 2 days i got an email from them that they gave me 221g refusal and i need to send some basic information about family and itinerary travel plans. Can you please tell me if my visa will be refused or what ? I need visa asap for trucking purposes Canada to USA … Thanks

My case now subjected to DS5535 How long does it take to complete it please?

My case is also in administrative processing 221(g). My visa category is F2B. US consulate Mumbai sent me 221(g) white letter asking to submit original passport, medical, PCC, 2 photos, affidavit of support, 2020 IRS tax transcript and updated DS-260 confirmation. I submitted these all these documents on November 16,2021. Since November 22,2021 the system has been showing REFUSED status. The case last updated date initially changed from November 22,2021 to December 27,2021 and then it changed to February 4,2022. On March 7,2022 the case last updated date changed to March 7, 2022 but status is still REFUSED. The original passport and original documents are still at the US consulate.

DS160 Visa has been rejected without interview for the third time, hence we've provided all possible and supported documents such as Bank statement with fair amount, salary statement, home title, family.
