I’ve played an astral elf stars druid in the Spelljammer campaign and it was fun. He was the party navigator and an ageless astral drifter that has lived thousands of years. I’ve flavored the dragon starry form as a solar dragon.
That’s a cool choice for the starry form. It’s very sensible to have the almost eternal elf do the navigation in the astral sea.
Did you play that elf differently like personality wise?
@@TheSinisterheroes Personality wise they were the classic wise old mentor that talks in metaphors.
The Astral Elves would have to be my favorite sub-race of elf. I love creating characters with them as the race of choice. I've created a Path of the Giants (Barbarian) Astral Elf. When they go into a rage instead of themselves growing larger they manifest an "astral form" with the appearance of a giant made up of stars, galaxies, and space stuffs.
That’s really cool actually almost like a new form. I can definitely get behind that like an ethereal spacial disconnect of consciousness, where only instinct exists. Yeah I can definitely get behind that
Elves seem to be very adaptable to their environment. Now that I think about it, they're a lot like the Pokemon Eevee.

Back on topic, I'd make one a Fathomless Warlock. Tentacles and watery teleports.
Fathomless is sooo cool I don’t know why there so rare! There amazingly fun
We just need elves of the elemental planes and we will have each type, too many elf subraces
