Lots of great insights again. I especially appreciated Karoline's linking the blind man's deliverance in John 9 to the community life hinted at in John 10 and 1 Peter 2. And that question that Joy closed with: "How are we the perpetrators of injustice??" -- Maybe that's a question the Church needs to ask ... Whoa!! "How have I been a perpetrator of injustice?" -- That's definitely a question I NEED to ask. Thank you, ladies. Thank you, Matt.
“How does our community gathering once a week impact the community lives of the people in the zip code of our congregation?” Wow! What a question!!! That is an EXCELLENT for every congregation to look at and reflect on! Wow!
This episode really helped me to appreciate Matt's graciousness. He just allowed the ladies to keep making their points, even though he had his own point(s) to make. After giving the introductory remarks, he didn't say anything again until about the 10:54 mark. Wonderful example, Matt. Much appreciated.
