Hi, Dave from England here. I have both of these razors and really like them both. I love Razorock's and have 5. Gamechangers in •84 closed & •68 open comb, Lupo •72 closed comb, Lupo dual comb •95 closed comb and •72 open comb and a BBS. All are stainless Steel. I think my favourite of all of them is my •68 Gamechanger. The 6s is nice though and I find the little bit of blade overhang is useful if you change plate mid-shave. You can hold the overhang between thumb and finger and just drop the plate off. I only shave my face but you look like a master of head shaving!! Take care and stay safe Sir. Dave.
Sounds like a wonderful collection! I have also grown my collection of Razorock razors. I am really digging the Lupo DLC. Have a wonderful day and thank you for watching!
@@RedBeardShaves Thankyou Sir! I received a Masamune •63 today and got the Masamune Nodachi last week. The Nodachi is stunning (•90). I am waiting until tomorrow to use the new •63 when I'll have a little more growth. I must stop buying razors!! I keep saying "that's it" then another one catches my eye!! 😂😂😂. Thanks again Sir! Dave.
Just recently got the EJ316 razor and I've been REALLY enjoying the performance with Astras, Voskhods, and Feathers in it. No irritation or ingrown hairs or skin breakouts after a 2-pass head shave with it, even whenever my second/final pass is against the grain and I usually never do against the grain but I have been this past week with no troubles whatsoever!
I have used the Rockwell 6C and Both GC 0.68 and 0.84 and the GC's were far better. The 0.68 is the best but if you use a mild blade in the 0.84 it works fine.
Nice head shave, I have both razors and both are nice but i particularly like the .84p for no overhang especially round the ears. By the way you remind me of Jeff Daniels the actor👍
Great shave. I kind of had a feeling I knew what the winner would be. For the head shaves, I prefer the Rockwell, though I only have the 6C. For the face, I prefer the Game Changer. The head geometry fits my face contours better and I personally get a closer shave. I'm not a fan of the Game Changer for head shaves though, the 6C is a better head shaver for me.
I do own the 6C and the milder GC .68. As I do prefer mild razors (6C on plate 3) I like to use sharper blades for a very convenient daily shave. The sensation is always when changing the razors. The new one is always slightly better, so no real preference. I always shave for 4 days with the same blade before changing the razor/blade combo. Nice comparison, thanks Josh. Not long to go for your 350, good luck.
I have never used the 6s, but I did own the 6c until I got my hands on the Game Changer. Plus, I have never done a head shave, but for my face the 6c cannot compare to the GC. For my face the head geometry and profile of the GC is tons better. Head geometry is also why I love the old Gillettes. The bulk of the Rockwell head reminds me of the Parker Variant which I also had and sold. I just get a much smoother and more comfortable shave with the GC. I sold the 6c a couple of weeks ago.
Awesome comparison shave 👍👍. Love the 6s. My only complaint with the Game Changer is it’s availability. It’s never in stock when I have the funds 🙁🙁. Shave on Buddy............................
I chose the Game Changer .84 blade gap for the reason of no blade over hang like the Rockwell has, not taking anything away from the Rockwell but for me they should have made it flush without the over hang:)
Hello from Antalya Turkey. On the first pass do you think that the 6s felt smoother because the soap was fresh. Maybe by the time you switched over to the left side your soap might have dried a little? I am using a DE89 at the moment and I am thinking of stepping up a little. Most users of the 6s seem to stick with one plate so financially the GC could work out better if you are happy with the one plate. Great review.
Hey great head shave but can you do the same shave starting with the game changer .84p on the right side of your head because you're right-handed the right side is easier to get closer shave.
Oh man! I hate clogging! Neither one of these razors clog for me. Do you shave daily? Also something to consider is if your lather is not hydrated enough you will get clogging. Hooe this helps!
Great comparison! I subscribed after this video. I have the 6c and the GC .84 should arrive tomorrow or the next day. Since two years has passed, is your evaluation still the same, or has anything changed (i.e. better blade pairing for the GC)? Thank you.
@georgewashington3012 I like the versatility of the 6c and the build quality of the GC series. That being said, I rarely use the 6c and the .84 SB (solid bar) nowadays. However, I picked up the GC .68 OC (open comb) plate and use it A LOT. I really, really like it. It is less aggressive than the .84 SB, but more efficient, with just the right amount of blade feel. BBS every time, but shouldn't be used daily, because it shaves pretty close. I usually use it on 2 days growth when I want a really close shave that is not overly aggressive.

I haven’t seen any razor as highly and widely praised as the Rockwell 6C/6S. I look forward to receiving my 6S next week!

Question! Will the .68 still be a step up in efficiency from an EJDE89? Or need to go to .84?
IMO the .68 would be a step up from a DE89
@@pmiahky Edwin Jagger DE89 has a blade gap of 0,76mm, RazoRock Game Changer 68-P has a 0,68mm gap, Game Changer 84-P has a 0,84mm gap.
Great shave Josh. Nice Mammoth products! It's always good to give to a great cause. Always a win win!
Just makes it feel better as well!
The 6S was my favorite razor. My brother started to get interested in wet shaving so a gave it to him.
abe frohman which one is now? Thanks
Paweł L The Rockwell S6 is still my favorite I just haven’t gotten another one yet.
Nice comparison shave. I guessed right that the Rockwell would win given I own both razors.
Nice comparison I hope you have a great weekend.

Typically I dont have issues with my lather drying out. I really try hard to get it hydrated enough while I am making it. Thank you for watching!
@@RedBeardShaves Since my post 3 years ago, I've got the GC .84, the 6s and the 6c. I love them all but the 6s and GC are the best in my opinion.

I will can definitely do that in the near future. Have a faceoff round 2!
Do any of these two razors get clogged?
I just started shaving my head and I'm using a merkur but it clogs up so much it gets annoying.

Thank you for the sub! I have been using PermaSharp and Wizamet blades almost exclusively in all of my razors.
Which do you prefer - GC or the 6C?
@georgewashington3012 I like the versatility of the 6c and the build quality of the GC series. That being said, I rarely use the 6c and the .84 SB (solid bar) nowadays. As a right-handed head-shaver myself, I've found that it's always more difficult to shave the left side of my head than the right side.
I am slowly becoming ambidextrous with head shaving. I could always switch the razors for a rematch in the future lol.
Muhle r89 head $25 and Ikon handle $20 great for the money wheelchair larry
