I love the tone of this compared to actual No More Nuzzles. It's silly and energetic but also, vaguely tragic? It sounds less like a carefree individual and more like a broken man trying to recapture the happy days before he lost his mind.
My favorite part of this is when Skuntle Bingoid said "It's Boingo Doo Time" and then he proceeded to Boingo Doo all over the place while spitting bars
I like the idea that the secret bosses will slowly accumulate bits of other secret boss themes, like how this guy has both the world revolving and spamton's theme in it (0:58 for spamton's theme)
I am genuinely sad he’s not actually canon just because he’s such a fun character design. :( Also I’m not sure if it was intended to or not, but I like the little bit at around 0:58 that sounds like the first few notes of Spamton’s theme. Really sells he’s a secret boss with the callbacks in the song.
the leitmotif of NOW'S YOUR CHANCE TO BE A and BIG SHOT was intentional, most of the songs in SCDM have leitmotifs to other songs in the mod, likely as a reference to how almost every song from both Undertale and Deltarune has a leitmotif in it, for example, Power of Neo and Battle Against a True Hero sound similar because of the leitmotif, it's used there to signify the characters' great increase in strength, another example would be Smart Race having a leitmotif of Queen in it, since Berdly acts as a loyal servant/overly obedient knight in shining armor (that deserves a pay drop tbh), or ALL of Queen's themes having that same leitmotif because.. all those themes are associated with Queen. Toby fox is a clever man, and not including a reference that covers the man's cleverness with his game OSTs should be a crime
It's almost unbelievable how the Undertale/Deltarune Fandom managed to: - Create an AU with some of the most banger tracks - Make half the fandom believe Toby Fox actually composed one of them - Make the people who know Luna composed it join the joke - Make a long ass copy-paste explaining how Toby Fox made the song using the Scrimblo Bimblo's Skrunkly Adventure and the outdated Doo doo fart pro VST for the secret boss Skuntle Bingoid - Actually make Skuntle Bingoid a character and have even more people confused - Make the people who get the joke want him to be an actual DR Chapter 3 character - Make the character appear in a 2022 FNF Mod and ressurect the joke once more, leaving still half of the fandom confused and the other half in joy - Make No More Nuzzles even a darker reference than Megalovania (I'm placing my bets, No More Nuzzles will soon be the next megalovania) Essentially I'm glad i got to witness some of it
