Quite nice you used the James Cameron 1997 film sound effects, all along with the lifeboat deploying it also must have been a pain splitting the ship into 2 pieces, quite astonishing. W Treebark.
I had to physically disassemble the ship for the breakup then had to reassemble it afterwards…

As a titanic enthusiast, I'm here to point out major issues I've noticed. First of all, the fourth funnel of the ship was a fake, no smoke came out of it. I would also like to point out how early the propellers started rising out of the water in this animation. Realistically they would start rising around when the bridge flooded. Also, the 2nd funnel had sparks flying out of it while it fell. There's also the split, in real life titanic split into 4 main sections, the 2 big section (the bow and stern) and then after the split, the stern shed 2 other smaller but still big chunks, right next to the split.
edit: I still agree with my points here, but I definitely could have said this a lot better.
Oh btw, the ship also split just in front of the 3rd funnel. Not in between the 3rd and 4th.

I just took it part by removing the pieces. I wouldn’t advise doing it as it’s a pain to put back together.

Alright these are things I think you should do to improve: One, the rudder noise because i don't think the rudder is turned by a motor. Two, you should make the stern rise after the first funnel falls. Three, try your best on making the splitting less messy. But yeah this is pretty good. Keep up the good work.
For the first one i met to say i doubt Titanic's rudder would sound like that
Thanks. It's hard for me to find audio tracks that properly match the real-life noise. As with the stern rising as the funnel falls, it was extremely complex filming the stern rising as I'm filming, as I had to tear apart the model and elevate it. That was also the main problem with the splitting scene, I had to take all the pieces off the middle. Instead, I chose to set it at a new angle for each scene. Check out my Lusitania video, as I made huge improvements in the sinking animation. Thanks again for the suggestions!

This is the Limited Edition, but you can still get the Executive Edition. I got it from buildcobi.com but there are many other websites that you can get them from. I have a list of the main ones on my channel about page.

The red when the bow is sinking is blood of the humans also when the stern was going to the ocean floor it exploded

How did you have the ship model go in the the blue plates when it sinks?
The blue plates were elevated from the ground so there was a gap beneath it. I also had to remove parts of the ship as it continued to sink.

The problem that i found is that the 4 funnel is not fake
It was, but for this, I decided it looked better with all of them working.
This is the 1997 movie version (edit: and i know that because the 2012 is that the 2 funnels are at the stern)

@@sebbyestimate For the split scene, I had to tear each COBI brick off until the two halves were no longer connected. It was a pain to do, but I'm happy that I finished it.

How did you turn off the green screen?!?
It depends on what software you are using. I change the green screen when I'm editing on Final Cut Pro X, and all that I have to do is click a button to turn the green screen off.

@@guorma2045 Hello. Thanks for your comment. I chose to have the 4th funnel active as it would look better, and most people wouldn't notice it. As for the list, it was very complex getting it to be on the angle, so it was easier for me to keep it balanced. Finally, please remember that this is just a simple stop motion.
If I ever remake this, I will take into account your suggestions. Also, checkout my Lusitania video, as the sinking animation quality in it is much better than the Titanic video. Thanks!
