love how brittany is comfortable enough now to put out songs that are a bit silly and a bit coquettish 💞 i’ve heard many people say they don’t like lilak or that it sounds like mars argo is going basic pop, but even if its sonically a different sound if you listen to some of her older stuff (like linden place ep in particular, which iirc she had the biggest hand in writing compared to her other older material) you can see she’s always had these playful lyrics. and having a few months to listen, it just keeps growing on me.
