Hi Decathlon - I got a request :) Could you please make a tutorial video, where you talk about fitness peaks. Specifically, how you hit the peak, at the intended time. Whenever I try, I always miss it by several weeks. If my GC leader needs to peak at Paris Nice, he wont peak until 2-3-4 weeks later. I even make sure, to give him 2-3 stage races beforehand, to help with the 3 points a' day instead of 1,5 points a' day. Nothing helps. My current work-around is giving him an additional objective 3 weeks before. Just seems ridiculous, to have a mountain rider peak for Milano-San Remo, in order to ensure for him peaking at Liege 😂 Would greatly appreciate a thorough tutorial, if you could find the time!
No. It's been a few years since I did a big database test, I'm not 100% positive of the results anymore, but I believe it was weekly XP gains in career mode. I do recall that each January 1st, the rider modifier (as in how much XP is gained by each rider) is recalculated. That modifier has to do with rider potential and remaining levels. So a rider that levels up in December will end up with a lower modifier than someone that waits for that level up in January where they'd have the rest of the year to maintain that modifier. I also remember that technically it's daily XP gain, but it only adds in periodically. I believe that periodic addition was weekly.
In EP 40 you told us that you needed 4,5 hour to set up the objectives for the team. Is PCM+ not a good idea to use? Its just a few euro's and it can fill your objectives/calander in 5-10 minutes.
In my build a nation career I've accomplished all the objectives with 100% confidence and the sponsor is offering the same budget for 2 years. I could take another sponsor but they all say world and not belgium like Spot Vlaanderen-Ardoise is offering. What do you recommend?
There have been issues with sponsors this year and while there has been an update I'm not certain all is resolved. By 100% confidence, do you mean successful objectives? Or do you mean your total sponsor rating is over 100? My working theory is that rating number is the only thing that matters for whether sponsor money increases/decreases/or stays the same. I had a 100% confidence, but the number was about 58 when the two sponsors were added together. That lead to a tiny decrease. So my guess is 60 is neutral, below will decrease money offers and above will increase it.
@@DecathlonGamer My personal impression is that the strength of the roster / list for the next year is actually a HUGE part in the amount of money sponsors are willing to pay. I had a save where I started with one of the weakest teams (ukraine cycling ac, as a build the nation save). Now 2027, which is the year where my 10 best riders will be out of contract, ALL potential sponsors are giving me LESS then what I received before. Even though almost all objectives were a (super) success and even though I brought the team to ContiPro level AND won multiple races on a 2.PRO level. So I think the message is: take a 2 year deal when a lot of contracts are going to end in the year +1
thanks for the video!

Do level ups always happen on the first of the month like in pro cyclist mode?

Haven't used it yet. It may be worthwhile.

@@DecathlonGamer I'm not sure what the total sponsor rating is. But so far I'm 5/5 for objectives and have blue 100% confidence for both sponsors.
