@Ivan Mestar yes inside of rika so yes you forget if you ever read umineko there's a character named Eva who already created a second part of herself within herself but never separated what I believe in Higa Rashi is they are part of each other existing and not completely separated yes she exists as a witch but they weren't fully separated at least that's my theory if you think about it it's the most plausible Theory

At the end of the opening it looks like Rika's eye sees some hands "calling out" to her. It's definitely Satoko's hands at the end of this chapter, wow
So that last part has no doubt, it will be a confrontation between Lambdadelta and Bernkastel, I imagine that Rika will win in the end and Lambdadelta will separate from Satoko so there is still hope for a happy ending
I predict that Rika and Satoko will be fighting each other evenly with the Loop-killer weapon in hand, and then Featherine will stop everything as she finds their rivalry entertaining, and to see it end so soon would make it boring.
So, in order to keep them together, she decides to make them Witches: Bernkastel and Lambdadelta.
we have to wait and see how the infinite logic error of higurashi actually ends since it has no end point when its end is the starting point so something has to happen to fix that
If we go based on the things Lambda says in Umineko, Lambda ends up in hell. Satoko appears to be falling in the ED.
I think it goes Lambda gives up, all of Bern's pieces become queens(loopers?)

I was indeed correct. The memory bleed cause Takano to "dream" her failures, and find the Letter which knocked out her Certainity. Now LAMBDADELTA/Satoko controls the Certainity entirely.
I wonder if Umineko played out the way it did because Battler reminds Lambda of Keiichi or maybe Battler and Ange reminder her of her brother and herself.

Well this game board interesting but I personally think that they should had had this episode done a little differently it should have been about her executing her plan and then coming to her senses in this episode and then due to all the negative stuff inside of them should have split from them and they should had had the origins of Lambadadelta and bernkastel and the two that was Rika and satoko could have their happy ending while also leading into maybe a better anime adaptation of Umineko hopefully something that follows manga just a little bit better
And another reason I think they should have wrapped it up here is because they already have enough material to lead to a umineko Series right now

Yeah, Rena has mostly been a background character for Gou outside of her attacking Keichi at the end of the first arc, I hope they give her more to do, same with Takano even though Takano admittedly got some good time to shine this episode, but a lot of it is stuff we’ve already seen.

its honestly just setting up umineko if they do decide to animate it since even in umineko theres a reference to the higurashi board on how the game was literally broken to the point it became a infinite logic error that the end point was the starting point so it had no clear way to end its looping without it spoiling how it actually ends

First arc she was definitely not injected. Unless she told her to do that herself when she got to Keiichi’s house.
@@christopherfreitas-leonard7099 Depends how they handled it. If they got the full entire dosage, yeah probably. But if it's very little per injection then it's likely it just agitates and causes minor symptoms until they go full murder mode.

BTW I'm so glad that a second season has been confirmed though we have to wait until July unfortunately. Oh well I'm sure once it's July the long wait will absolutely be worth it because it looks like shit is about to go down big time. Also I will definitely miss Higurashi Gou it was definitely a wild ride up to this point and it really shooked us all to the inner core. It was also a great way to continue one of the most darkest and deepest anime in all of animes. I definitely have high hopes for Higurashi Sotsu and I know for a fact that it's going to be just as epic. BTW I can't wait to see what the intro and outro will look like in Higurashi Sotsu. I'm so excited!!!!!! P.S. *Fun fact:* The words Sotsu and Gou put together make the japanese word "Sotsugou" which means "Graduation" in japanese. 😊
July ain't that long of a wait, we lucky that it is only a few months away from airing, Seasonal shows usually take a much longer time to get a season 2, like for instance attack on titan season 2 coming out 4 years after season 1.

you need to rewatch the anime after the reveleation about Satoko to understand the correct sequence of events... the world where satoko points the gun to rika is the last world satoko created after putting rika through the torture of the different outcomes described in the first episodes... when Rika surrender herself in the episode where Satoko tortures her through watanagashi ritual Satoko creates a new perfect world in which Rika discover about Satoko rolling the dice herself..

This whole anime has been great, but now I'm not sure how there's going to be a whole new season of this when last we checked the fully realized Rika has discovered that Satoko was suspicious and held at gunpoint and we wont find out until hopefully July onward. How is there going to be another full season up to 24 episodes when it looked like it was going to conclude in a few episodes at most?
I really hope the first 3 quarters of the new season won't just retell the first three chapters through Satoko's perspective or it will feel like an unnecessary waste of time and I'm not willing to wait another few odd months to find out the rest of the story.
its going to be satoko and rika probably duking it out for a bit while knowing they are in different time lines followed by Lambdadelta and Bernkastels "awakening" and the prelude to umineko

@@MiiChanx I know exactly how answer arcs work I've seen all of higurashi, read ciconia, and read all of umineko too but it was still with a bunch of new stuff and not repeating previous arcs from a different perspective. I am excited how this anime is connecting all of it. This whole sequel is a great new take on this and as we've mentioned will answer how Lambda became a thing. So no idea what your problem is or how you can be excited for the first three quarters likely being filler/exposition.
So like me and the other guy said, best case scenario is the tussle between Rika/Satoko right out of the gate and going to take some cool twists and turns. Also I disagree that this anime was meant for newcomers too that part has been made quite apparent a bunch of times.
Having come this far we can easily deduce how satoko orchestrated the first 3 chapters so no need to spend 18 episodes explaining it before we get to the new content.

Rika and Satoko do have same mindset for not staying to the place where they hate it. But their goal and action are opposite each other. So i can make assume that :
- Rika manipulates people arround her so she can beat the fate and get away from village. Ofc she won't let anyone die because they have their own important role each other. There is nothing wrong for her to escape from tragedy but what the hell she is done to Satoko in the future, now she is making her own tragedy come back again
- Satoko manipulates all these events under her control so she can ensure Rika to stay from village anytime by remaking the tragedy since there is no tragedy in her looping experince whats wrong with it? Well it does bring Rika wants to leave village and pushes Satoko to St. Lucia again, from her perspective that school were hell place. Ofc she doesn't care anymore to victims since she knew that they are just a representation of theirself even their redemption just were created from looper existance.
There is no pity for both of them, but i will pity for Keiichi and others as victims in Rika vs Satoko endless dream gameboard.
Is still surprised how dedicated Satoko is for trying not to get Rika to leave even after her first loop. Despite the ‘betrayal’ she won’t let go of her, some people would see it as the end of their friendship.

Ofc Takano got nerfed really hard after Bernkastel was changing her past. That's why she can't be Lambdadelta's piece anymore.
damn so this explains ep 13 of gou i think satoko's uncle was actually good at that time but she used the syringe on his uncle when she called keichi over which led to the uncle going crazy and also ooishi
possibly, tho she still clearly wasn't being abused and we see multiple blood textures that are vastly different which to me feels like its half a hallucination.
so personally im inclined to think her uncle didn't actually do anythin and was just murdered, and then satoko beat in keichi (or oishi) and then the bs that happens after at the festival.
but who knows, we'll have to wait and see. Plus its not like she couldn't try to cause stress and triggers in people without the serum / could still cause himanizawa syndrome to goto level 5 without it, and then use the serum on someone in particular if they need to speed things up or if the person in question wouldn't normally get it (like oishi who likely isn't in town often enough)
All i think of when i rewatch&watched this scene first time was little kuriboh's yugioh abridged scene when Marik is pressing buttons in a similiar manner and then goes "This door is a bitch" xD Best is 1111, access denied until he opens it jsut for another surprise to happen XDD

Throughout all of Gou, I was riveted up until this moment. It just feels corny for Higurashi to end on sequel bait instead of the uneasy mystery on the original series. True enough, it explains everything, but it feels less natural than the endings that came before. Nevertheless...

@@gdmellissa5044 gotta be 24 or maybe more than 24. Cause the og DEEN adaptation q. arcs has 26 eps and the a. arcs has 24 episodes. And the umineko characters and plot might have a role in sotsu. And might have a anime only exclusive arc like satokowadamashi-hen(?)
And 12 episodes is short for a higurashi anime especially they left out a lot in the DEEN one

They adapted the question arcs in the first half and Meakashi/Tsumihoroboshi in the second half. Most of them were pretty rushed at points. Then we got the Nekogoroshi OVA and Kai opened with Tsumi's epilogue. Then we got the anime original arc with Satoko POV (I really like Yakusamashi, don't get me wrong), and then finally Minagoroshi and Matsuribayashi. I like Deen overall, but it would've been a way smarter idea to just give the question arcs a full season and then have the answer arcs in another. But honestly it's really just the answer arcs that need the most amount of screentime and episodes, so I don't think that Deen s1 actually had to be 26 whereas Kai DEFINITELY did (but got 24 anyway)
Gou in comparison, has only had three question arcs that were basically just Onikakushi-Tatarigoroshi again except with different endings (hence, the -damashi). I'm not sure if Nekodamashi and Satokowashi qualify as question arcs, but we'll just have to see what happens in Sotsu. However, I do feel like Satokowashi might be an answer arc, which means that Sotsu will be nothing but answer arcs. Doing three more in 12 episodes or so is not really gonna be that hard.
But another 24 is kinda absurd. There really isn't that much of this story left now that all the pieces have been set, and the only questions remaining are what happened in the first half. Another 11-13 will more than suffice to wrap up this story properly. Matsuribayashi had 11 episodes which was the entire second half of Kai.
So yeah, we're ending on 35-38 episodes total. Plus, you should keep in mind Passione's a very small studio and Gou was their first 2 cour. So doing three cours total is already a lot on them. We're not getting 24 more episodes and people who are hoping for that should manage their expectations.

:) . Watch the Deen version and also read umineko if you can . Gou is sequel to the Deen version .
better to read unineko first then watch the anime cause the anime isn't finished and skipped alot of details
Ideally if you have lots of free time the VNs are the best option for both Higurashi and Umineko. It will teach you a lot more about the characters, and they have great sound tracks that don't exist in the anime. Technically Gou spoiled you but it can still be fun to try and solve some mysteries on your own because Gou didn't explain everything.
I'm in tears!!! 😭😭😭 It makes no sense for Satoko to lose her mind like this!!!! All because she wants to live with Rika! I can't take it anymore I feel sad and confused. I'm 99% sure that next episode will start strong with the gun reveal!!!

too bad there is a connection to umineko, being how rika and satoko act being in line with bernkastel and lambda, its pretty much their creations and the mystery of featherines infinite logic error that happened that was referenced in umineko itself when lambda talked about the old game they played together where rika had to solve everything by herself

Agreed. What really made me debunk the whole Umeineko connection is that LambDaDelta is Featherine's opponent in Umineko so it makes no sense for them to work together.
I mean there is featherine, but ryukushi07 said that, it wasn't her, IDK if his just trolling but I need hard evidence that they might be connected, it would be nice
This season was pretty good can't wait for the next one. My favorite *new* characters are Bus-kun, Chandelier-chan, and Gun-senpai, I hope we see some memories of them...
