    Well that was an awful ending. I wanted to see her days and weeks from then to see how she reacted. I feel bad for all of them but am glad they're being bred. I absolutely love Tigers.

    Tigers are one of my favorite big cat species! I'm happy there are places like this that breed them, to save them from going extinct!

    the words "breeding program" gave me a stich in my heart.....one of most beautiful cats on earth, and they should have to have the freedom to live in their nature habitat, - but its now a humans world... 🐯 okay, they protect them and thats at least rather fine.

      Yes, it's heartbreaking. I'm going to unsubscribe this channel as I feel too sad watching these animals manipulated by humans although they say this is the way to save them. This is a lie that want us to feel being good people, but we are not.

      It is unfortunate. The reality is that the only animals that survive will be the ones that humans have some use for...whether it be for recreational hunting, observation, etc.

      theyre suffering in the wild from loss of habitat and human interactions. at least the zoos are trying to preserve the species. what are you doing other than complaining about something you have no knowledge in?

    • @herpderp3916
      @herpderp3916 Год назад +1

      Why? A wild animal's prime directive is to reproduce. Captive breeding programs and studbooks are vital for maintaining a healthy and viable population that could one day be reintroduced into the wild.

    Chester Zoo definitely made the wrong decision in separating this successful mated pair. This species is at risk of extinction in the wild and the female tiger was still of breeding age. More and more conservation projects are doing reintroductions back into the wild. This could've easily have been done with whatever more cubs were born from this mother. Cubs are taught crucial skills from their mothers as they grow. All they had to do was gradually teach these skills to the offspring along with wariness of humans to reintroduced back into wild territories.

      Because the father tiger also part of the breeding programme and has to play its role to breed with other female tigers

      In the wild, tigers are usually solitary creatures, only socializing when mating. Male tigers often leave their partner in search of other partners and keeping track of territory to fend off other males.

    This is incredibly sad to keep taking away this beautiful mama tiger's family first the Dad of her children and her only family Kirane has left her sons and her daughter. Animals have feelings emotions too. I dont agree with this at all!!. I dont care for zoos at all. Sanctuarys typically try to keep the family unit together from the ones I have viewed. Everything is about money. Thats all for the most part this is about. Income for the zoos period.

    You re-meet them and then see how affection you have snatched from them. In fact their part of life.
    The world species are not property of humans. Simply because we have a brain, much better than theirs.

    I wonder what is going to happen in the future if rich people around the world start breeding tigers and lions in their houses. Will they succeed in domesticating them like dogs? No need for them to hunt in the wild. Walmart will start selling bags of tiger and lion food!
