Thanks Tony. Great ship tour. Not rushed and paced nicely. Honestly, we need MSC to succeed in the states to keep up the competition and keep prices down on all lines since they are all blowing up. Only thing I wish is it being easier to book joining rooms through their site.
Check out the family rooms. I saw two different layouts, 2 & 3 bedroom. Really just looks like they connected a couple rooms and have adjoining balconies. Each room has their own bathrooms but does not look like any sitting areas.
Amen about the prices! All the other lines need to calm the heck down with the insane pricing and get on MSC’s level! 🚢🚢🚢 so far I’ve only cruised msc & just booked 2 more msc cruises. I priced out many carnivals and the value as a solo passenger to pay double just isn’t there when msc has so many sailings where they waive the solo supplement and i can cruise in a balcony by myself for half the price of an interior on carnival.
One thing about this ship I’m very impressed with is how a person can’t seem to get a feel for how big or small each space is. Between the mirrors, the lighting, the different elevations, the prints, and the odd and differing shapes of each space, it all kind of distracts you from the fact that you’re confined to a ship. Also, the differing elevations of each ceiling gives you this sort of “compress and release” sensation as you enter and exit each space is very pleasing, and helps make the ship feel much larger than it actually is. Been eyeing MSC the last couple of years, and have yet to pull the trigger because I’m not sure if it’s for me or not. The Seashore might be good motivation for a first go at this cruise line.
Hi Tony. Yes MSC doesn't usually stock washcloths in the cabin. Just ask and they will get them for you. Unless you stay in the Yacht Club. Then they are already there. Nice tour, the ship is beautiful! It's like you had the ship to yourself. I know almost everyone gets off to see the island. As always thank you for all you do. ❤
We sailed this in December. We have another one in September. We love this ship and everything it has to offer. There are many beaches on their island. There are good trucks throughout the island. Your drink package carries over from the ship too.
This ship just radiates to me. Nice and shiny and very classy in alot of their aspects. I think I need to skip a carnival cruise and book a msc one next time
That’s what I did last year due to Carnival pricing being somewhat elevated in 2023. Things seems to be more competitive this year still haven’t decided on a Carnival or MSC itinerary yet but I’m cool with both.
@@Danrarbc that's what I was looking at the prices were lil different not a whole lot. So I was wondering like dining options, and entertainment wise do they have as much as carnival. I feel like I'd be happy either way. To me as long as your on vacation and not working it's a bonus
@@christinashouse3488 Carnival definitely has everyone beat on included dining. Especially their newer ships. But the buffet on MSC is extensive and has burgers and pizza - so they aren’t as far behind as I thought before I did the cruise. Entertainment is comparable in style - more focused on music than stage production, but aimed to be more enjoyable to multiple languages.
One thing to note about the smart elevators is to press the button for each member of your party getting on the elevator in order for it to calculate properly. I have been on two MSC cruises with the smart elevators and people would press the button once for a group of people and then try to over-crowd the elevator.
What if some is in a wheelchair? They might take up more room then just 1 person. Curious cause we are going on the Carnival Venezia this weekend. My Dad is 80 and has rollator/transport chair combo.
@@1279jed I am not sure to be quite honest. I seen several in wheelchairs on MSC and people for the most part let them and their party go on ahead and then took the next one. I do not know how carnival’s works either since none of the carnival ships I have been on have had the smart elevators.
Yes… I have heard that the Mardi Gras has very tiny showers as well and we will be experiencing that in a couple of months… But this is supposed to be luxury in the yacht club and unfortunately, it's not… Everything else is except the darn shower😞
No wash cloths in Italy unless you go to a U.S. hotel chain. I believe they consider a washcloth to be a personal item - like a toothbrush - you don’t use one somebody else has used.
Thank you for this video. I really enjoy walking tours of cruise ships. I am one of those people who likes to know what to expect before I get there. No surprises for me.
I love MSC... people need to realize you get ehat you pay for... me and my hubby had a beautiful cruise for just a few hundred bucks. On that cruise a lady was complaining about everything and comparing it to Icon of the seas... NOT at all the same group. I went on 3 MSC cruises last year have 4 this year and 2025 we have an 11 day cruise planned! We are super excited. Definitely book while youre on the ship. Itll be so much cheaper!
Hi Tony, great video. I have been on both Seashore and Seascape they are sister ships. So just to let you know i think your room was an Aurea room large balcony. Ask Room Stewart to empty your fridge also for comforter for bed and ask for facecloths all will be provided. Mexico spot is 17.99 all you can eat or ala carte. Both dining rooms 5th ave and Manhattan are MDR just like Green Wave. Hope you try a longer cruise cheers!
We’ve been on one MSC cruise and loved everything except the buffet food. They are gorgeous modern ships and you can’t beat the value! We loved the entertainment too.
Going on this ship Feb 29 in the yacht club. Thanks for sharing what the ship looks like. I like to know ahead of time what a ship looks like. I’m now more excited about going!
I just came off 7 day cruise on this Ship. I loved it. Very nice. The Sports Bar is nice. TV'S, casino and bar with nice seating arrangements. Also Casino for smokers .Enjoy! I know I sure did❤.
We went on MSC meravigia in December, ship absolutely beautiful.. love the espresso machines at every bar. And that tug boat will sit there the whole time while in port.
Yes it is for safety because of the ecosystem that surround the island just in case a line was to break from the ship so it doesn’t drift into the coral reef
Thanks man for doing this vid. We never have considered MSC until now. After viewing this vid we are very interested in sailing on a MSC ship… thanks. This is a beautiful ship, just our style.
I was on the MSC Meraviglia two months ago, and the ship was beautiful like the seashore seems to be. The seashore appears to be more kid friendly. I was not a big fan of MSC Meraviglia's food quality and limited dining times. Coffee served in the main dining room was awesome. No top sheet on the Meraviglia, too. I asked our steward, and he said they don't use a top sheet because they change the duvet cover every three days. He did say he would put on a top sheet if we wanted one. I might try MSC one more time to see if it is better the second time around. I loved the private island, it was huge, and you had multiple beach ⛱️ choices, including a calm lagoon. There are plenty of free beach chairs with lots of space. The bars, food stations, and restrooms are close to all the beaches. Ocean cay was the best part of my MSC cruise.
The 5th Ave restaurant was not a specialty restaurant. We ate there every evening with our family, All 14 of us, our kids & grands. That was the restaurant that the best service attendant was, Abdul.
It's one of my favorite private islands for its simplicity. Off past the light house are stone sculptures. Always something to discover on that island and you can walk the entire thing.
MSC Seashore is the most beautiful ship I've been on. I don't remember having a couch in my balcony cabin so that's probably the difference in yours. We did have wash cloths and top sheets but that was June, 2022. This past summer on the MSC Seaside we didn't have a top sheet. I requested one and they made the bed with one throughout the rest of the cruise. We did have wash cloths
This ship is a beaut. I'm going on the inaugural voyage on the World America next year. Getting excited just looking at this ship. Look out Carnival, here I come MSC.😊
You have to request wash clothes. After you request they will always be there when they clean the rooms. Elevators can be busy at times. Yes they do have dueling pianos also. Theater shows were Great! La Cabret is a Definite Must!! Tug Coast Guard while in Port. Manhattan Restaurant is Great.

Snorkeling at the lighthouse, if sea is calm, there is a huge turtle thst hangs out inside the sea fence. Amazing experience. If seas are rough go to rocks across from crew beach and see so many fish, conch depending on time of year. I love it there. I go frequently just to visit this island.

I was on that cruise. It was too short. I have 3 more cruises booked on the seashore this year. We really enjoying cruising on MSC plus we live close to port Canaveral so it makes it easy. Love ocean Kay best part of the cruise
We cruised MSC last year on the Seaside, and were so impressed with it, we are looking to book this ship. Not sure I'm a fan of that balcony. I especially would not want to be your neighbors, as you can look right into their cabin. We liked the shows at Le Cabaret. We loved their private island. I hope they don't ruin it by over developing it. There are several nice beach areas, plenty of bathroom areas, and they have food truck throughout the island so you don't have to go to the main eating area.
*_QUESTION_* - After seeing the ship what do you think? Would you like to cruise on the Seashore?
I will like to go on that ship, definitely.
I am cruising on her Sunday in the yacht club.
That would depend on the cost
It looks very dark, not my favorite

Nice video! I was on Seashore last summer in the Med! It’s pretty!
21:34 this is a smaller main dining venue I was sitting during my cruise!! 😊
Thanks Tony !!! I've got the Seashore booked in about a year .....
10 days to explore for me !!
Pressure and temp separate shower controls are common in France and Europe.
Thanks for the video.. Just booked a 7 day cruise for August
I was on that cruise. It was too short. I have 3 more cruises booked on the seashore this year. We really enjoying cruising on MSC plus we live close to port Canaveral so it makes it easy. Love ocean Kay best part of the cruise
Excellent tour, Tony!
I like MSC. Seashore was bigger and nicer than the Magnifica I was on too. I am def planning more on them.
We are booked for November! Can't wait.
We was on the same pier as the seashore in Costa Maya1/2/24 .we was on the jade. What a beautiful ship
