The only magnet fisher I'll watch. True metal fishing. Love it.
❤❤❤
The fact that it started to rain and he still stayed out there and continued to magent fish shows his true dedication lol
The automotive part you found 2:44 into the video is from a 1936-1952 Buick. It is a piece of an exhaust manifold. According to Ebay.
I live in Ohio and as of 6-8-24 I have watched all of your videos up to date. I love them! Keep up the awesome work!
I believe the Jordan Spark Plug is from an early Ford Model A. Somewhere around the 1920's.
I love it when you go to new places and it’s enjoyable when you also know the area background!
Lots of cool stuff fisher. Still have your sense of humor. Thats what makes your videos❤❤❤❤❤❤
Tyler, it's always great to see a video from the best magnet fishing guy on RUclips, thanks for sharing your journey with us 😀 😊😊😊😊😊
Booneville, Arkansas. I live alone and when I click on your app I don’t feel so lonely. Thanks for sharing
🤗
Hello from San Diego! When I retire in a few years, I'm going to start magnet fishing. We have plenty of water here!
another grand video! Thanks for all the hard work!
Nice surprise to see you posted today, always a joy to behold, thanks from Ontario.
So much fun watching you fish, thank you, Tyler!!! 💖
Thank you so much for your never ending support ❤️
I love this guy. Cracking me up. And so positive!!
Salmon and trout snagging was 100% legal on Lake Michigan tributaries up until around the mid 80's. Bait shops would buy the eggs from the female fish to sell as bait, and a number of snaggers would gut the fish on shoreline, take the eggs, and discard the fish on the bank. This was a big reason that snagging was outlawed.
@blasty290 OH MY LORD!! THANK YOU FOR EXPLAINING THIS!! **FiNaLlY, FINALLY** SOMEBODY CAN/DOES EXPLAIN THE WHOLE FISH SNAGGING STUFF!! LOLOFUCKINGL!! But no, FR FR THO; THANK goodness that you were someone that was finally able to! Because, not only has Tyler (A.K.A. The Fisher), other finders, those watching, myself, etc, etc. Not only have we all wondered wtf the case/story/deal/etc is with them being legal or not anymore. (I'm sure that I can speak for most others along with obviously for myself when saying this.) That I kinda already knew/just figured it was illegal by now with all of the different changes/rules to the outdoors from back then to now. Sorry for the damn novel, but.. !!!!!!!!TTHHAAAANNKK YYOOOOUU!!!!!!!! Lol 😂🤙😂🤙
My dad and his friends use to go salmon snagging when it was legal. But they would keep what they caught and smoke them.
Hello I am an avid fan from NE Missouri, just east of Kansas City. Love your videos.
Hamilton, Ontario, Canada here!! Love your videos!
Keep heading up the river. Hit the creek up by Olson park. A lot of industry there
I bet that was a boat repair shop way cool 😎
Hello from Saskatchewan! That coin is a 10 Centavos coin from Mexico, and just like nearly all silver coins from there, they are made of stainless steel. A lot of the random piping pieces and gears you're finding look to be parts from an exhaust or transmission system in an old car. I'm helping my Dad restore a car right now, and let me tell ya, it's been a crash course in knowing ALL of its parts! And that spoked half-circle looks to be the remains of a valve wheel, like the one you see in classic submarines and on dams. And that last thing you found looks to be the top of a vertical boiler or a furnace. The round hole in its top was for the smoke exhaust, and the smiley-face-shaped hole as for heat bleeding. I've seen them made before so I recognized it immediately
Franky was holding his ‘homemade’ sword. So you basically found a potential murder weapon.
That’s why I told you to get one of them yellow rain coats so you can keep going in the rain !!
The crane swings out over the water, boat engine service
Cool.
Hi great video 🦘😅 lots of love from Australia.😊😊😊
Keep on discovering.
The GM part you found is a Buick 320 straight eight 8 exhaust manifold..
Hello from colorado!! Enjoy your finds/videos!!!!
Hey Tyler, those Jordan spark plugs are REALLY EXPENSIVE $20 per plug , probably why we don't see TOO many of these around 🤣😂🤣. Crazy amount of money 🤑🤑 I like the Longer video 🌞👍😎🐠✌️
6:19 automotive ring gear from a differential 8:04 exhaust manifold
The can lid with the two punched triangles is an old oil can lid. Oil for car engine.. Tyler, when I got out of college, I worked at a gas station. Oil cans came to us made of heavy duty cardboard with metal bottoms and tops. To open them, we used a larger bottle opener which made a triangle opening and then pour the oil into an engine oil opening. The body of the can had a wax coating to keep the oil from leaking out. If someone pitched the can into the river, the body of the can would have eroded away leaving just the top and bottom for you to find.
Hi Tyler 👋 cool Video Buddy 👍👌💯, watching from Germany ✌️😎
This was a great spot!! Good to get the snagging gear out of great water. Terrific to see those laws change!!!🥰🥰🥰
Tottenham NSW Australia 🇦🇺
I’m just tossin in the rain, what a trooper. Great video Tyler.
The clams you found on the pipe and elsewhere are called zebra mussels. They came from over seas in the ballast tanks of ships bringing goods here. When the ships come into port they dump the ballast tanks and we got the hitch hiking zebra mussels.
Melbourne Australia here 👍
Raindrops keep fallin on my head.
Hi Tyler 😊❤It’s me…..Paula……watching you from Grayling Michigan. Right across from Lake Michigan. Those were some great finds you caught. I appreciate you finding another gorgeous place to take us on your adventures. And I would like to thank you for doing what you do. Hats off to you sir.😊❤Stay safe out there my friend 😊❤
Hello from Scotland and love your enthusiasm, only magnet channel worth watching
Iowa here. Great finds Bro, keep up your great work.
Awesome finds today Tyler. I hate when your out in the boat, and it starts raining. You pulled up parts from an old GM vehicle manifold. That was a very cool find. Have a great day my friend, and stay safe ❤️🙂⚘️🛠🔩🧲.
Love your happy positive excited attitude Dude! Your Videos brighten my Day! Thanks!
I like that you mention what city you are in. Would be helpful if you could do that all of the time.
Mexican coins are, some of them ,are made out of steel. Some Euro's are made of ferrous metal.
I confirm this is a mexican coin a 10 Centavos
Canadian too
Great video Superman I love the old tools they are so much fun to restore. and such a trooper to stay out in the rain. stay safe and keep throwing your friend across the lakes Richard W.
13:38 On the back of the coin, it says United States of Mexico. According to Google Translate. Tyler, keep it up, man. Your channel is educational plus interesting. I started watching you during Covid and have been watching every since. Shout out to The Finding Family as well.
Francky was writing poetry with its feather and you disturbed him...
I think that I shall never see
A crawfish cuter than ol’ Frankie!
As a long time viewer who was born in Algoma, I always wondered what you might catch in that river. Awesome! If you ever go back, go south from Olson Park, up the left brance. There is an old factory on each side. Watch the depth, it can get pretty shallow.
Good afternoon from Scotland
You know it's gonna be a good day when The Fisher uploads! Hello from Ohio!
Richmond, VA
Video is awesome. Never can get enough of magnet fishing. It's amazing and ashame of how much stuff is under the water. Watching from Northern Delaware. Love your channels😊
I'm watching you from Palestine,Texas. And I'm glad to see you fishing in a new place.(At least it's new to me). Stay Safe.
Awesome video! Because of you and blake cant swim got me into magnet fishing! Thanks again Tyler!
Good morning people, from Maryland
Those weighted hooks were used to snag salmon back in the day, I had helped my dad make some back in the day.
Watching from NJ. Getting ready to fight off the crowds from No.. Jersey and New York (bennies).
Thank you for watching! 😊
@@TheFisher Love You!
Hi Tyler
Nice juicy river finds! I’m agreeing definitely an automotive shop or maybe boat engine shop? You need to go more upstream too!
Cheers. 🎉
If you look up Jordan cars they were made in the early 1900s and they had those spark plugs in them, those are a cool find, another great video Tyler have a great weekend brother.
I'm watching from Northern NJ. You sure found yourself a great new spot so much cool stuff. Thank you for another great video! Can't wait for the next!
Sackets Harbor NY watching ... Great finds, definitely some engine parts. And some old tools. Have a great weekend. ✌🕯💗
The "GM" find was a broken exhaust manifold from an engine.
Good morning from North Georgia
Oh wow, cool coin!!! It looks familiar, nice score!!!...
Hi The Fisher & it's is Randy and i like video is Cool & Thanks The Fisher & Friends Randy
Hi Tyler Awesome Video great finds and I think what you do is.Awesome yiu are such a great Person and you always makr me laugh watching from Belfast Northern Ireland
From Central Florida
Yakima Wa I worked at Dresden nuclear power plant back in 80’s and we went to that town ins why but love your videos Tyler it makes my day and your a great inspirational person
Brisbane Australia. Thanks for your videos.
I think the place you have been fishing around was Marine repair shop.Think about it so many tools, old short splined shafts.I think that jib crane was used to lift stuff up and swing it over to the shop.
The thing with the square in the end of it could b an old tool to turn on and off fire hydrants back in the day I've seen tools kinda like that on our fire truck when I have volunteered in the past for them I still do volunteer work for them but dont go on calls no more cus of back injuries that I had happen to me they have all sorts of weird looking tools that u find sometimes
So excited to see an update!
Algoma is a great salmon fishing town, and people come from all over to fish there. Those silos are Harvgard birdseed location.
Watching from Michigan right now your strate across from us on the water.
8:07 you get 'er Pontiac. It's most likely off of an inboard motor that tear dropped shaped inlet is for water to cool the manifold.
Pipe Threader at 23:46. For cutting Threads on a blank pipe.
Watching from right here in Wisconsin. Newton, near Manitowoc. Those fish I believe are Alewife, not minnows. They spawn in the fresh waters and then mature in the ocean. They also line our beaches of Lake Michigan in the summer and stink to high heaven!
Found some cool stuff again
I think the last peice you found was part of a old wood stove the door.
Looks like a steering rack GM
These videos are always enjoyable. Watching from Montana!
Awesome always cool stuff always thanks
Looks like you got equal weight of metal and muscles 😂❤
Cool finds, Tyler! 😎 How is Owen doing??? I miss seeing his reactions. 😁
He just got out of school for the summer so we will be filming lots soon!
@@TheFisher Saweeet! 😎 I keep forgetting that he does attend school. Lol 🤣
Awesome new spot...
You know Tyler, a light weight plastic rain poncho would be something you should carry on the boat. Think about it, dude
And wearing a life vest, when you are all alone, would not be a bad idea either.
The plug is vintage “Jordan “.
Those jigging hooks, u can melt the lead off of them and use it to make your own jig heads!
@10:55 that reminds me, what ever happened to the little hammer you had for chipping off the rust?
Tyler, from what you gathered up by the shore of the first bridge there's probably more towards the middle. More clams for the garden. I am outside Kansas City Mo.
27:33 gate valve handle
Red Devil, to scrape the zebra muscles off the boats. Cheers. 😊
You were in my home town. next time you have to get hold of me, I know a good spot for guns, and bunch of other stuff.
Hi I watching you from New York city God bless you Tyler amén sonia
@11 looks like lower steering column. Perhaps the first casting you found may be associated with it.
Im back from Michigan. Watching 👀. Coin nice.. A whole engine down there or car lol.
Don't forget inboard boats used the engines made by the car manufacturers .
2:54 broken exhaust manifold. Most Murcury motors are GM based engines.
Seemed like the zebra mussels were bigger than I have seen before. So sad that everything in the freat lakes is probably covered with these. Make sure you rinse your boat and trailer very well so you don't carry eggs to other lakes and rivers.
